dawnomike: The only reason most governors don't pay salaries is not because funds are unavailable... A lot of them just don't see it as a priority. People like Umahi, Obiano, Ganduje, El-Rufai, Ugwuanyi, Fashola, Peter Obi, late. Yar'Adua, etc, are proof that governorship (good governance) is not rocket science. It was all joy for Ebonyi Civil Servants in the capital city of Ebonyi, Abakaliki today as queue was observed in all the the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) within Abakaliki as jubilating workers were observed to be carrying out transaction after early morning alerts of their [b]January salaries which the Governor, Engr. David Nweze Umahi FNSE FNATE ordered their payment to effect the new minimum wage of N30,000. Is something wrong with me? Or did I hear January salary? |

No wonder Ebonyians are usually backward. A new minimum wage that graduates with level 8/9 receives a monthly pay of #35,000, an increase from #30, 000 previously paid while a level 1 civil servants receives same #30, 000. Shame on u and ur likes to even have the mind to post it here and making the upcoming youths to believe that school/certificate in Nigeria (especially Ebonyi) is actually a SCAM. 1 Like |
