No, Iran and solely Iran is guilty of this horrible act of irresponsibility. In this day and age you have no right to operate weapons if you cannot distinguish a passenger aircraft that has just taken off from your own airport, from fighter jets coming from outside.

Not only did they shoot the plane down, for days they lied and lied about it and insinuated that the fault lay with the Airline.

The fault lies entirely with Iran and they should be made to pay a huge price.

It's very simple , after ballistic missiles strike at us base, the best thing to do is to ground all flight flying on the Iranian space ...it was a foolish mistake because plan took off from Tehran , Iran, and was brought down in Tehran, how does that make sense to u ??...as local as Nigeria , we still ground flight at the north east...The Iran should not be slow to use nuclear weapon and the ballistic missile should be detonated from them, this is another reason why they could not kill a single American soldier in their missile strike in Iraq, they are not matured for it
