That’s your friend’s problem. Anybody that’s looking to borrow money has to learn to chop humble pie. In any case even if he signed the form and still doesn’t pay you back what will you do? |

Lots of people are even searching for who can borrow them, and can even sign away their life as a collateral, but here you are, trying to help a friend and he is keeping malice with you. It only goes to show his insincerity, and if I were you, that will be the end of that friendship. Also, how does he plan to sponsor her for at least 4 years in uni after paying this first fee? If he had asked for money to improve his life, then it makes sense, but this is a classical case of removing someone's else eye dust, when there is dust in yours, its foolishness at its peak, and the bible and common sense speaks against it. Even sadly, there is quite a high chance that she will leave him for someone else, as uni is a bedrock of cheating and heartbreak. So as an hypothetical scenario, after signing all thr documents, what will you do if he refuse to pay back? Spend more money taking him to court ? Lol 1 Like |

Enabling Muslims and Non-Muslims To Work More Effectively and Harmoniously Together Some rules for borrowing or lending in Islam Often, an entrepreneur has to borrow money to start a business, or an investor is lending money to someone to start a business. While there are whole books written on the topic of Islamic finance and the multiple financial instruments available for this type of commercial transaction, the Qur’an in one ayat (Surah Baqarah, 282) details the basic rules for borrowing and lending in Islam. O ye who believe! When ye deal with each other, in transactions involving future obligations in a fixed period of time, reduce them to writing Let a scribe write down faithfully as between the parties: let not the scribe refuse to write: as Allah Has taught him, so let him write. Let him who incurs the liability dictate, but let him fear His Lord Allah, and not diminish aught of what he owes. If the party liable is mentally deficient, or weak, or unable Himself to dictate, Let his guardian dictate faithfully, and get two witnesses, out of your own men, and if there are not two men, then a man and two women, such as ye choose, for witnesses, so that if one of them errs, the other can remind her. The witnesses should not refuse when they are called on (For evidence). Disdain not to reduce to writing (your contract) for a future period, whether it be small or big: it is juster in the sight of Allah, More suitable as evidence, and more convenient to prevent doubts among yourselves but if it be a transaction which ye carry out on the spot among yourselves, there is no blame on you if ye reduce it not to writing. But take witness whenever ye make a commercial contract; and let neither scribe nor witness suffer harm. If ye do (such harm), it would be wickedness in you. So fear Allah. For it is God that teaches you. And Allah is well acquainted with all things (2: 282) 2 Likes |

xavuv:Even life itself is very cold. That’s why some people are born into riches while some are born in to abject poverty. So no reason, that’s how you will see this life if you want to be successful. Most people do charity and turn motivational speakers once they are successful but not when they’re still hustling. 1 Like |

Bro, don’t stress urself cos d end will never be funny. Ask ur friend if he has been d one paying for her school fees since she gained admission. If no then just negodu him. And if yes tell him u can’t borrow him cos u self broke cos at d end he will not return it in full anymore and it may lead to a lifetime quarrel between u both. |

We4all: Oga if they said friend was borrowing the money to eat, pay house rent or hospital bill or even using the money for business or to buy clothes for himself and family members or even to pay for His SISTER'S school fees then i will gladly give him even more then he is asking for. BUT borrowing money because you want to pay YOUR GIRLFRIEND school fees shows how irresponsible and stupid he is. And i for one do not suffer irresponsible entities. 1 Like |

We have a very wrong mentality about girlfriend or boyfriend. Someone that you sleep with, you think helping that person is wrong. Then you have missed it. There's no extent too much to go for a friend. If that friend likes, let him dissappoint you, he will always live to regret whatever action he did to you. So my dear there's no crime in assisting one's girlfriend or boyfriend. AS For you borrowing money, don't lend any money out you are not prepare to for go. I advise u to dash dem 10k, let them go sort them self |

You did right, man. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. These random strangers criticizing you wouldn't help you when your friend defaults and starts avoiding your calls. Just be sure the form is legal and binding. NB: if he is upset with you, it means he never planned to pay back. |
