The Igbo division they think they are sowing only exists in their head.
It doesn't exit this page. Don't let them get to you.

YES WE HAVE MIX BREEDS THAT WILL TRY TO KEEP IGBOS DIVIDED.

IN UKWUANI, IKWERE, CROSS RIVER IGBO, BENUE, EDO.

AND YES, SOME MIX BREEDS IN ANAMBRA BETWEEN IGALA AND IGBO AT UMUERI. grin

People will still come and build.

These are just the area that the government will develop, and the remaining area will be developed by private developers.

In Igboland, it's not hard to find private sector investors as Igbo have the most even collective wealth distribution of the Big Three.

OK, DAT MAKES SENSE NOW.

DEN IT IS A MASSIVE AREA. DEY SHOULD MAKE IT ULTRA-MODERN IN DESIGN.

YES, U ARE RIGHT, ANAMBRA IS THE ANCESTRAL HOME OF IGALAS AND NDI-UMUERI

WE CAN ALL AGREE TO DISAGREE BUT REMAIN BROTHERS.

Igala bu Igala, Igbo bu Igbo. Stop living in fantasies Biko.
Idah is the ancestral home of Igalas. Igbos have no ancestral home, we came in barges. Some through the South west direction, some through the Kogi direction, and some through the Cross River direction. Then we had cross migration within ourselves, blending and mixing until we became who we are today.

Igalas are our neighbors, just as Ogonis, Edos, Ikwerres, Ekoi, Ibibios and Annangs are. Just neighbors who we intermarried with and had other economic interactions with.
Nothing more and nothing less. Those people don't see us as anything but as neighbours, we must start seeing them as same, if we at all wish to grow strong again.

Emotionalism must give way for pragmatism.

There a lot of distractions we're facing that blurs our eyes from understanding the issues at stake.

Firstly, many Anambra towns have Igala migrants. Onicha has it , Aguleri and environs, Idenmili town like Obosi , Oyi towns etc....Therefore, Igala is our relatives...EOD !

I asked that specific question for a reason...I know a town like Umunze and very few dont have it and you knew this because of your familiarity and study not out of thin air. But, does your accomplice know this, while he vows I am not from Anambra..

Pazienza do you know anything about Anambra apart from the materials you read ? Do you know the difference between sounds of Akwunechenyi and Ijele drums ? You don't !

You dont know the complete instruments of Egwu Ota and Ufie. You dont know it !

There are no Igalas in Idemili. None whatsoever.
Some Igalas invaded Northern Anambra and Northern Enugu, you see the Igbos in Ayamelum LGA in Anambra? They came there because of the invasion of Igala into their Nsukka homelands that chased them to the place they occupy today. They lost the war against Igalas, hence the name "Ayamelum" (War dealt with me).

Some Igalas were assimilated in Onitsha, parts of Anambra East and West, where they even managed to retain their language in some cases.

Igala is Igala and Igbos are Igbos. We still know what's happening between the Igalas of Ibaji and Aguleris over the Anambra basin oil wells. When all is said and done, they will side their Muslim brothers in Idah Kogi state.

Every Igbo at the boundary have close ties to their Neighbors. Edos and Enuani, Igala and Anambra North/Enugu North (Nsukka), Ikwuano and Annang, Ngwa/Ndoki and Ibibios, Ndoki and Ogonis, Ezza/Izzi/Ikwo and Ekoid, Aro/Abiriba/Ututu and Efik.
Don't make it seem like what we have with Igalas in Northern Anambra or Northern Enugu is peculiar.

Your attempts at isolating Anambra from other Igbos to create an Igbo/Igala hybrid you call Omanbala is dead on arrival.

Lol! The mistake Igbo leaders made was chasing rats while burning issues were left unattended. This is the same mistake many are still making. Igbo should settle their problems first before settling that of others.
Igala people have never asked for our hands in fellowship. Left to them their brotherhood lies with the unity with the north.
Until Ndigbo see themselves as orphans in Nigeria and unite every Igbo clan in the SE/SS/NC in one strong force, only then can we rise.

Diplomacy is recognizing that Igala is Igala and that Igbo is Igbo. The two are independent and immiscible.
Lack of diplomacy and insincerity is trying to claim Igalas and Igbos are one. The Igalas will accept it as long as they profit from it.
When they don't, they start accusing Igbos of land grabbing and lack of respect for their independence.

When you claim Igala and Igbos are one. You weaken the Igbo.
Igala is Igala and Igbo is Igbo. That's diplomacy.

All Igalas see Idah as their ancestral home.
Idah in turn is obedient to the Caliphate seated in Sokoto.

Once the Eastern ports become fully operational, Igbos should relocate Ladipo spare parts market to Nnewi, computer village to Onitsha, and clothing and fabrics to Aba and make them hubs for these businesses.

Onitsha and Nnewi are more centralized and easily accessible to most Nigerians than Lagos.

The major focus of Igbo should be to relocate the microeconomics towards the SE.

IS IT NOT GREED DAT MAKE YORUBA CARRY ALL THE PORT IN NIGERIA AND PUT IN LAGOS?

Earlier in the month, Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu took a major step towards actualising the vision of the Enyimba Economic City (EEC). At the second edition of the AfDB led Africa Investment Forum (AIF), the governor secured US$430 million funding for the economic city. This came a month after the team that pitched the Enyimba Economic City at the Charter Cities Institute defeated projects from Russia and Australia to claim the US$25,000 funding as well as partnership with the institute.

The EEC is Dr Ikpeazu’s vision to actualise and aid the already present innovative, manufacturing and entrepreneurial culture of the citizens of Abia state and the South East as a whole. The city of Aba (the location of the EEC) located in Abia state popularly dubbed the “China of Africa” is a city known for its craftmanship in iron and leather works. However, the city has not enjoyed any form of coordinated support to assist entrepreneurs and SMEs within the city groom their businesses. The dearth of infrastructure such as good roads, water resources, power and environmental cleanliness facilities have limited the growth of the commercial hub.

Governor Ikpeazu last year announced plans to build the EEC which would connect all the 5 South-Eastern states as well as the 4 South-South states bordering the city and operate as a Free Trade Zone. The 9,803-hectare EEC is located strategically near existing seaports in Onne and PortHarcourt while having good proximity to the proposed Akwa Ibom Deep Sea Port. Furthermore, it is located along key rail lines of PortHarcourt and Maiduguri giving it a major connection to Northern states.

When are they actually gonna start construction works on this Enyimba City!? I’m sick and tired of hearing all this preliminary plans that seems to drag on for ever!

How will you build United Igbo when the Igalas in Anambra feel left out knowing they are not Igbos, so would rather create a new entity to separate the Igbo in Anambra from other Igbos. Just like the Edos in Ika are doing.

The Igala in Anambra would rather have artificially created Omanbala to Igbo, just as the Edos in Ika prefer artificially created Anioma tag to Igbo tag.
Are you too blind to see the link?
Why can't they just assimilliate and be Igbo? Why must they separate the Igbos there from other Igbos?
