Nice one.. I watched the clip and my love for this Man multiplied for speaking the absolute truth! I have been to the United States before and i can attest to all he said. Nigerians in diaspora are very hard working, focused and more educated too. In the US alone, our people are so educated than the native Americans over there. Nigerians also work so hard that some even do overtime jobs there.. Trump is simply a biased Racist idiot and another reason is due to the poor administration we are in presently who has failed to meet up with the requirements of the US embassy ans did not give a damn even after being warned about the proposed Ban months before it finally got enforced... If it were during Jonathan's reign, I'm sure this nonsense most likely wouldn't have happened to us... Also, It's just so sad that we are our own main enemies in this country here. I see people here applauding Trump for the ban and praising him for all his policies as if he gives a damn about them. The crazy thing is that most of these Trump supporters here have never crossed the Nigerian border to other country ever in their lives but they're here making noise. If we want to be respected out there, we need to start by respecting ourselves in our own country first. It's really so pathetic! 7 Likes |

Almost everyone I know wants to escape to Canada. Truly, I don't know where the idea of every youth leaving this country for greener pastures came from. Sure, we understand that Nigeria is so bad, but running away will not change anything. Some counties were as bad as Nigeria before they sat their asses down and said that enough was enough. Just imagine: if everyone in the United States, China or Canada ran away from their country, who would have fixed it? We need to change our mentality. If our country was working, who would care to travel to the US? No matter how bad it may be, there's nowhere like home. 1 Like |

Awol1: Most Nigerian Muslims whether labeled as terrorists or not do not give a damn about Trumps ban on Nigerians. After all how many Nigerian Muslims want to go and live in the US or even visit the US , unless it is necessary or work related? He should please go ahead with the ban and also deport every Nigerian from America. 3 Likes 1 Share |

wwwihy:# story for the gods!! fix your country, stop votong fopr crooks and Nigeria will make progress. Stop thinking you can abandon your civic responsibilities at home and think you can go and enjoy what other citizens suffered to create. I support trump's ban on Nigerians and the soon to come EU ban on Nigerians. When Nigerians realize they have no where to go, they will start to take who governs them more seriously. 2 Likes 1 Share |

CNN is antiTrump and that's all there is to it.. flattering as that Fareed Zakaria documentary appeared. Don't be surprised if Trump should say Nigeria is a lovely country tomorrow, the kinda dirt CNN will dig up on us we'll sell Nigeria to any available buyer. Go through the records, 95% of what CNN projects to the world about us has always been negative. Why the sudden twist in the narrative? The answer lies therein. 11 Likes 1 Share |

engrsyer: So, who are ‘Americans’ is it the Anglo white man? Are people of Nigeria descent or ethnicity who are America citizens not Americans? Apart from the native India, every ethnic group in America including the Anglo white are immigrants. Trump’s vision for America is to exclude all ethnic group except white, he has truly failed before he even started. The ban is temporary and will not stop or slow down the demographic change taking place in America, where people of color are growing at a very rapid rate. 3 Likes |

NoTire: As long as "Nigeria" refer to the geograhical spread that includes Northern Nigeria, the home of Boko Haram, Ansaru Islam, Fulani Herdsmen Terrorists, Abdul Mutallab, which it does unless we want to deceive ourselves, Trump and the Americans need to be very worried. If Fareed -bless him- was wholistic enough, he should have talked about these valid threats. And see the opinion and reactions it will generate. When real and pseudo Southern Nigerian elites talk about "Nigeria", they seem to pretend that the IDP and terrorism bedevilling Northern Nigeria isnt actually Nigeria. That is foolish. That is pretence. Because of the owambe and parties we throw and host in Lagos, we declare "Nigerians love life". Cruelly hilarious. Go to Yobe State and see Nigerians blowing up themselves and recondition your mind. The American Embassy in every country is a CIA command post. If the rumours of Boko Haram receiving intel help from within Nigeria, you think the Americans wouldn’t have listened to it and have that intel as well? Americans and other serious countries are normally proactive than reactive. That is, they attempt to take our and neutralise threats before it happens on their soils. Do not blame the Americans. Blame ourselves and look inward and see how you will sort out glaring issues instead of pretending them away. 1 Like |
