Brent oil price is currently $59.40 but NSE is not responding positively though, it's influence more by negative fundamental and sentimental indicators

Your 28.40 is okay for GTB. It's a good stock. Result may be around the corner.
If you still have fund, you may add to it, if it falls lower.
Chibuking dropped a post between being an investor and a trader (jijo) sometimes ago, the post was so on point.
There are times you needs to close your eyes to price movement within certain range if you're in a good stock.
The rate the offers will disappear may surprise you.

GTB: All those huge offers disappeared removed ...................Bid now 10M to 7M offers..............
Ucap did similar pattern before the result was released............people jumping out thru windows but started chasing when the result was released.

what's causing this surge in AIICO?

It's an illiquid stock. One person with a reasonably sized order can push the price up.

Those guys are something else, it may be that they crashed it so as to enter lower grin
Doesnt mean they sell at loss cos the stock was seriously mopped up at 26 then.
There are some kind of offers that someone will just know its not real, like the Zenith ones too.

UCAP: Serious profit taking will take place in tomorrow's market. People collected/collecting their div on the floor already.
They'll now come back to crash the price so as to enter lower and chop dividend again. grin

The play is called GT chess !! wink cheesy grin
...after the run out through the 27.60 window, the door was eventually shut.
So shall it be when Mr ZENITH and a few others decide to end their own game of chess.

The huge offers in certain coys is what I prefer to call a 'creative psychosomatic medium of exchange'.
The signal 'can sometimes make u dance to an exiting reggae-like song even when a mere entry serenade is been played'. grin grin grin
That's the 'NSE room' for u.

We'll see if the 'GTB door' will be reopened tomorrow.

Like I always tell folks;

"When the herds are 'running in or out of a place' within the market, watching ur back to COMPREHEND the reason for the run is twice as important as 'running with them', and just as important as sticking to a workable Investing STRATEGY.
...unless of course the target company was 'in the forefront of that run'."
~Sinclair

"The day u manage to strike the RIGHT BALANCE between fear and greed in line with ur Investment goal is the day u'll begin to decipher 'the many melody' that's been played in the stock market.
...to 'dance to the tune of those melodies' however, u must 1st create that balance with WISDOM and season it with PATIENCE."
~Sinclair

Bottom line: When u want to run(exit/divest) from a HEALTHY coy/asset, it should be because it ALIGNS with ur INVESTMENT STRATEGY and GOAL and NOT because u could not alienate FEAR from RISK.

Based on observation of today's pattern of trading sir.
23M volume was sold despite the huge bids, the volume can only increase in tomorrow's trading.
Also said that based on the recent short term plays as well as the fact that it's an individual bull, not general to the market.
Not in any way saying the price will still not go up ooo, but profit taking will be coming in between........I may be wrong too.

Zenith should give such chance between Friday next week or first working day of the month of March. Some of their good faithful are waiting to increase their volume for investment purpose not for jijo purpose.

Deal with it else it may happen again. sad
