These are documents that I submitted in application:
1. Tuition receipt of 6,000 dollars
2. Letter from the company I work
3. Letter of Acceptance
3. My sponsor's statement of account with 11k pounds. She is my elder sister in UK
4. sponsorship letter from her, her driving license and data page of her british passport.
5.2land agreements and Survey plans of my landed properties in Nigeria.
Though I am not married but I have a son. But there is no provision for that in their Imm form so I didnt include him in the application. There are dad's properties that I am also in charge as an administrator.
I started working with a construction company after my graduation, left for an appointment with one ex governor and later went back to the construction company after the appointment.

Hello Sim2003,

Briefly, I just want to state that sometimes when an applicant gets refused for a certain reason, the issue(s) might be from the part of the sponsor or applicant or both.

In an attempt to proffer answer to your application, I will assume that the issue here was from both of you. Based on the information provided here, the sponsorship packaging and financial status wasn't good enough. First, you should have calculated how much is 11k Pounds against the Naira then weigh it to the CADs. This shows insufficient funds because of the sponsorhip commitment involved and meeting her own personal needs. Secondly, she should have demonstrated and shown proof of her occupation and earnings since her closing balance wasn't sufficient enough for the sponsorship purpose. Thirdly, her LOS shouldn't just state she would be your sponsor but be able to explain what the sponsorship met to her, how she intends to offset the cost of your tuition fees if your program is 2yrs likewise your LE.

In your own part, you should have included your son in your first application even if you are not married but showing appropriate documents to prove he is your son should have suffice - principal home tie. More so, other home ties like landed property, investment, family (parents) etc - secondary home ties.

This time, if you should include your personal BS and include any evidence of previous and present employment. Your LOE should cone handy address the VO's concerns and clearly hightlighting your level of establishment from an economic angle and build a case for your previous and present employment in terms of salary, bonuses, pension (if applicable). Lastly, hit at the employability of your prospect course in your home country and plans on how to be well-established with it.

You need to include new and relevant documents to address the VO's concerns and ensure your study plan/LOE is well on point.

All the best.

For reapplication. Should my SOP and LOE be in a single document or seperate document.

What I have done is that after I've written my SOP. I left 7 lines and wrote my LOE both in a single document. I hope I'm not making mistake?

Hello Asapant,

There would be no need leaving 7 lines. It would be better if you just separate it. My opinion.

All the best.

Kamsiroyce:
Hello all.... Pls Iam kind of new here. I need your advice on my Study Visa Application. There is a lump sum in my hubby's account (my husband is my sponsor). The said amount 7m naira was transferred to hubby by his brother, who received it from a transport company as a compensation to the family for an autocrash that led to their father's death. How do I present this case to the VO?and what is likely going to be the VO's view?

Hello Kamsiroyce,

The VOs are always skeptical about lump sums deposit which doesn't usually go down well in scrutinizing the financial capability of the applicant and sponsor. To an extent, this won't be much of a problem if he can convincingly explain the source of the funds honestly in his LOS and you in your LOE, with well-established proof.

OR

If he can prove and provide evidence that the lump sum came as an executed contract or sales of property from an inherited property between him and his brother, then it will be easy to explain to the understanding of the VO using the LOE and his LOS.

How many years have you lived in Canada?

I don't think you understand what i am trying to say... -35 isn't and will never be a normal day like everyday of your life in Canada!

Have you ever been to Siberia ? I was opportune to have visited Siberia at -27, It was a shut down. where will the bus that you ride pass through?

Unless the bus has some packer in front of it, what is my point? Life cannot be the same and as normal as it should be.

If you are a Nurse and prefer to practice in Canada doesn't mean it is better there, if you had a better option you would have moved, leave matter for Mathias.

vickyehi:

Believe it or not, Brandon does not shut down in -45 weather. If it goes up to high 40s or 50s, the high school downwards may close but rarely do the university except there is a blizzard.
When I treked, I still had to walk to the bus station in -35. It is the way of life here and those in manitoba are used to it. Depression is a mental condition which isolation may trigger but not when you have a community and you keep busy.

I hate to be rude online but I dont appreciate your tone @ bolded.

Now will I take Canada over Australia?

Yes I would. Opportunities are the same all over the world for me. I can choose to virtually live in any part of the world that has a skilled worker program or a work visa program. This is because I am PROUDLY a Registered Nurse and I could get licensed in what ever country and move over. Currently I am licensed in 2 (soon to be 3- Nigeria, USA, Canada respectively).
Most of my friends are in the UK practicing but I chose to remain in Canada.

So Vibrant99 please be more civilized in your replies.

Wishing all Visa hopefuls a good result. It would surely end in praise.

Hello house.. need an advice on my application.. I have done and passed medicals and waiting for the next contact from the VO.. last week they asked me to update my new offer letter stating my deferment which I did immediately.. now I know they are doing other background checks to make a decision and I am worried about a particular status that has changed since I submitted my application.. I have changed jobs. When I applied in Nov I was working in a different place from where I am working now.. do I need to still upload my new job offer letter at this stage or just wait it out and not complicate things for myself?... I am really at a crossroad on this and need experienced minds to advise. Cheers

Employ the services of an immigration lawyer. They would try and construct a letter to attempt to adequately explain your situation.
Legally, you are responsible for everything on the application once the electronic signature is put. Hope for the best.
Best of luck.

But TBH its looking like a ban with everything ive read online. But we move..

Please I am new here, and I will like all d help.

I got my Canada student visa refused due to no family ties, purpose of visit and financial status. I didn't include my SOP at submission of application online cause I thought I would give that in person.

My question now is how to I appeal now that I have all the supporting documents in order.

Omohwummy:
Please guys how do I appeal for Canada student visa refusal now that I have all the supporting documents in order. Thanks

Hello Omohwummy,

I believe you have done your research on the appeal thingy before coming to a conclusion on it. Be as it may, opinions may vary on this and I won't advise you against it either as some people has been successful with it in the past. From another viewpoint knowing its not guaranteed and if you don't have a strong case to embark on a judicial review, time, effort and resources to put in another application would be wasted. However, one may not know the outcome if a try isn't rendered.

To this end, you should weigh between putting in a fresh application, sending a letter of reconsideration to IRCC/VAC or embark on a judicial review. However, it may be better to put in a fresh application if this is your first application and if the same story reoccurs in the second, then the option of either sending a letter of reconsideration to IRCC/VAC/VO or embarking on a judicial review would be then considered.

N.B: if you intend to put in a fresh application, the SOP should focus on your study intentions and the LOE should address the VO's concerns.

Firstly, my sister works as a medical worker in UK. She paid the tuition fee from there backing it up with sponsorship letter telling them that the fund in her statement of account would-be replenished throughout the academic year. The programme is just a year graduate diploma in project management. I had my first degree in civil engineering since It was almost 10 years I graduated, that was why I opted for a diploma course.

Secondly, my son lives with the family of his mother but he visits me once in a while. Besides he is only 7 yrs old. My plan is to take him home after I get married next year. That was the reason I didnt include my fiancee and him. Please how do I address that in my new application cos I m confused

No need to send ur transcript to Wes for centennial college. Fill the application online, after you will forward all required documents to their email address for Africa. You will send Waec scratch card to them to verify ur result. Within some days, you will get ur admission letter.

Hello Hadedee,

In my own assessment, the VO wasn't sure if you have a reliable source of income which you failed to demonstrate. Get your uncle to demonstrate proper show of commitment and if possible work on the funds of your dad, then make him the principal sponsor and your uncle cosponsoring.

If the funds of your dad can't be upped, your uncle should then be the sole sponsor since he is financially sufficient and get him to show proper commitment by paying the required tuition fees demanded by the college and transfer your LE into your personal account. Then get your dad to write a letter of support that can take care of your miscellaneous expenses and flight itinerary.

Do well to properly establish a strong relationship to your uncle and proof of previous sponsorship. Also, you failed to show you have a compelling home tie, work on this area too.

Like i always say.... Truth Go Pain You, But You get Sense .. By force!

Paying Tuition fee doesn't guarantee Visa....

Having a double mind about doing anything , is the first step to do anything, Doubt comes with Courage, don't be afraid to fail.

Sponsoring Yourself my brother, seems to me like a tourist Visa, For how long do you intend to do that? Unless you are showing me a bank balance of 20-50Million, You will be dependent somehow in Canada.

If you want to do Masters and come out with good grades like so many people write in their SOP, You have to concentrate on the EDUCATION and almost never work, unless you are some extra-Ordinary good student ... Guy You are coming out with an Average grade 50/100 (for Good students o).

Assignments Alone can drive you crazy, You can have 6 Assignment in your email in Just one week, 4 slides in 3 days and 3 seminar in 2weeks to submit, Please what kind of a super man are you that you will do all this and still have distinctions , with exceptions 2 out of 100 people!.

What does this go to mean, a VO, seeing you as a self sponsor will also see you as some one who will be more concentrated on working than Education, that while they ask for sponsorship in most cases, some countries in EUROPE won't even give you visa if you say you are self-sponsoring.

This is not to diminish you are activity but to create in you a sound knowledge of all that is required of you, i wish you well.
