sim2003: Hello Sim2003, Briefly, I just want to state that sometimes when an applicant gets refused for a certain reason, the issue(s) might be from the part of the sponsor or applicant or both. In an attempt to proffer answer to your application, I will assume that the issue here was from both of you. Based on the information provided here, the sponsorship packaging and financial status wasn't good enough. First, you should have calculated how much is 11k Pounds against the Naira then weigh it to the CADs. This shows insufficient funds because of the sponsorhip commitment involved and meeting her own personal needs. Secondly, she should have demonstrated and shown proof of her occupation and earnings since her closing balance wasn't sufficient enough for the sponsorship purpose. Thirdly, her LOS shouldn't just state she would be your sponsor but be able to explain what the sponsorship met to her, how she intends to offset the cost of your tuition fees if your program is 2yrs likewise your LE. In your own part, you should have included your son in your first application even if you are not married but showing appropriate documents to prove he is your son should have suffice - principal home tie. More so, other home ties like landed property, investment, family (parents) etc - secondary home ties. This time, if you should include your personal BS and include any evidence of previous and present employment. Your LOE should cone handy address the VO's concerns and clearly hightlighting your level of establishment from an economic angle and build a case for your previous and present employment in terms of salary, bonuses, pension (if applicable). Lastly, hit at the employability of your prospect course in your home country and plans on how to be well-established with it. You need to include new and relevant documents to address the VO's concerns and ensure your study plan/LOE is well on point. All the best. |

Kamsiroyce: Hello Kamsiroyce, The VOs are always skeptical about lump sums deposit which doesn't usually go down well in scrutinizing the financial capability of the applicant and sponsor. To an extent, this won't be much of a problem if he can convincingly explain the source of the funds honestly in his LOS and you in your LOE, with well-established proof. OR If he can prove and provide evidence that the lump sum came as an executed contract or sales of property from an inherited property between him and his brother, then it will be easy to explain to the understanding of the VO using the LOE and his LOS. All the best |

sim2003:The bolded portion might also come back to bite you in the ass. There is a provision for the addition of children (natural, step or adopted in the "family information form".

How many years have you lived in Canada? I don't think you understand what i am trying to say... -35 isn't and will never be a normal day like everyday of your life in Canada! Have you ever been to Siberia ? I was opportune to have visited Siberia at -27, It was a shut down. where will the bus that you ride pass through? Unless the bus has some packer in front of it, what is my point? Life cannot be the same and as normal as it should be. If you are a Nurse and prefer to practice in Canada doesn't mean it is better there, if you had a better option you would have moved, leave matter for Mathias. vickyehi: |

Omohwummy: Omohwummy: Hello Omohwummy, I believe you have done your research on the appeal thingy before coming to a conclusion on it. Be as it may, opinions may vary on this and I won't advise you against it either as some people has been successful with it in the past. From another viewpoint knowing its not guaranteed and if you don't have a strong case to embark on a judicial review, time, effort and resources to put in another application would be wasted. However, one may not know the outcome if a try isn't rendered. To this end, you should weigh between putting in a fresh application, sending a letter of reconsideration to IRCC/VAC or embark on a judicial review. However, it may be better to put in a fresh application if this is your first application and if the same story reoccurs in the second, then the option of either sending a letter of reconsideration to IRCC/VAC/VO or embarking on a judicial review would be then considered. N.B: if you intend to put in a fresh application, the SOP should focus on your study intentions and the LOE should address the VO's concerns. All the best |

JustMellow: Firstly, my sister works as a medical worker in UK. She paid the tuition fee from there backing it up with sponsorship letter telling them that the fund in her statement of account would-be replenished throughout the academic year. The programme is just a year graduate diploma in project management. I had my first degree in civil engineering since It was almost 10 years I graduated, that was why I opted for a diploma course. Secondly, my son lives with the family of his mother but he visits me once in a while. Besides he is only 7 yrs old. My plan is to take him home after I get married next year. That was the reason I didnt include my fiancee and him. Please how do I address that in my new application cos I m confused |

Zika123: No need to send ur transcript to Wes for centennial college. Fill the application online, after you will forward all required documents to their email address for Africa. You will send Waec scratch card to them to verify ur result. Within some days, you will get ur admission letter. |

JustMellow:Good day chief, I just realized I can study in Canada and it seems alittle late to apply to some schools, kindly help with schools that are still open for admission either fall or winter this year or January resumption next year tops. I am aware McGill is still open but in need more options and cheap schools too. Memerial Uni has a special fee of about 20,000 dollars additional to the tuition fee for MASc and I can't afford that. The M.Eng do not have the special fee but application has expired. My profile is : Electrical/Electronic Engineering ,4.03/5 graduated 2015. Proposed course is Electrical and computer Engineering No IELTS, No GRE. Thanks in anticipation |
