Hmmm... They will definitely be released today. I believe they've learned their lessons now. I really think people should cut this couple some slacks. Yes, they messed up by violating the order for doing what they did during this period. But at least they were only celebrating his (JJC Skillz) birthday & most importantly, Funke has already acknowledged her mistakes & apologized almost immediately. All these nonsense rants are because everyone know about the party especially because she's a popular figure. What about those ones especially the ordinary citizens that are doing same parties low key in their houses and no one knows about it? Yes, there are still some people havin unnecessary House parties during this Lockdown. Nigerians are just bitter hypocritical in nature. Most od those people who insulted her online yesterday wouldn't mind going to the party if she invited them. This thing goes both ways to be honest. Funke Akindele and her hubby messed up and Nigerians are bitter hypocrites too.

With all you said , you are the real hypocrite...... There should not be option of fine , when they deliberately flouted the law.

the implications is that they will become convits of a crime. The one people term as ex-convits
this is not a criminal offence or felony, just misdemeanor

we are not talking morality here, she broke the law wilfully and the law is set to take its course by making an example of her so that sentiments you expressed up there won't hold water where the system works.

No one Should Blame village people here!

They Used their own Hands to Expose and Ridicule themselves!

Hopefully ,they will learn their lesson and Others will learn from them and this Craze of Unnecessary And Non-essential Competition and show up will be Curtailed!

You are the hypocrite here for speaking with both mouth..... Simply because she acknowledged her mistake she should be let go without fine or punishment.... Tomorrow another will do the same and apologise then how will the law stand.

Some Nigerians are angry and hungry. They wants your downfall when you are balling or doing well.

That's why it is advisable you keep your life private. Imagine no pictures or videos of the birthday party surfaced online? She won't be in this shit.

However, she and her husband accepted they have done wrong.

Hopefully, they get a fair judgement.

Of course they will be released...
Because there’s an option of fine.

But the rest of your post is poor...
When high-profile people are held accountable, others will start to tow the line.

The judge also should be charged for violation of social distancing. The case should have been heard via Instagram , facebook, ,Twitter , or Nairaland using Video call.

I hear by sentenced the judge to 24 hours of rest with a cold water and dried meat.

case close....

Long story for nothing.

Don't you think this would have been the perfect opportunity to distribute 100k worth of food to the less privileged in her environs?

Actually, 200k as each adult would be charged singly .

You're absolutely right about that and I support that too. Well i believe she has learnt her lessons
