A lot of you said worse than this in 2015 when Fayose was writing to China to decline granting Nigeria loans for the railways.

I hope you aren't one of those hating Amaechi today for providing railways in a part of the country he isn't from?

Anyone that supports this loan is a likely beneficiary of it. What government know is to buy expensive suv, lavish lifestyle and to oppress the common man. While they pay miscreants peanuts to attack hardworking Nigerians on the internet daily. Such a wicked world we live in.

The way imf was warning Nigeria about too much debt few months ago, you will think they really care and will never approve one for us.

However, they were only pained that Nigeria and Africa is turning to China instead of remaining imf slave forever. You will see how their narrative rhetoric will change digitally

I only hope punch - PDP and their Ipob miscreants will be happy now when the Taskmaster imf come up with usual conditionalities meant impoverished Africa
You no well at all.
Buhari is the one borrowing the money, it is pdp that have been crying against borrowing that you are attacking.

You no well at all. Go and wash your head from zombie mentality and don't vote for the next 10 years.

You are not smart enough to vote.

So America is sorrowing?

What of Italy, France, Spain, South Africa, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India etc?

It is the dept of foolishness to compare Nigerian debt with American debt or any debt of those above nations.

Japanese debt to GDP ratio is is the highest in the world, far worse than Nigeria, yet you cannot compare them to Nigeria because they are very liquid.
The most liquid nation in the World.

When we ask you to listen to intelligent people like Peter Obi, instead you would waste your time listening to empty oratory and Mad Men.

Singapore also has the very high debt/GDP ratio.

But not only are they very liquid, they have a law in the constitution that every borrowed money must be converted to verifiable and viable infrastructural project that can pay for itself.

None will be embezzled or used for salary. It is a law in Singapore.

When people in Nigerian govt talk about debt, they don't mention things like this because it doesn't favour them.

You only know when you listen to Peter Obi.

Should Peter Obi become president, would he avoid borrowing?

By the way, don't you ever pull that uncouth language when next you address me.

Don't approve any loan o. They will steal most of it and use the remaining to blackmail opposition party governors.

Buhari is not to be trusted.

Peter Obi already answered this.

Borrowing is not the problem. Cutting down waste is.
Peter obi even gave his experienced analysis as a former office holder.

The first thing Peter obi would do is to apply the anambra strategy.

Cut down waste to the barest minimum. Once that is done, enough money would be shaken out here and there, up to more than 2 trillion.

You would find out you don't need to borrow as much.

If you now eventually borrow, with someone like Peter obi, there is no way that money would be used to pay salaries or embezzled.

Leadership is everything.

You mean he would retrench or reduce the wages to the millions already employed or he would disengage the 200,000 Npower workers ?

What exactly would he do?

One of the beautiful thing that happened in Nigeria is that Buhari became President. Had he not, many Nigeria by now would have been saying things like: "Had Buhari become President, all kwaraption would have been eradicated", "Had Buhari become President, our economy would have revived and all debts paid", etc. The memory of some hot and sometimes confrontational arguments I had with sai Baba teams prior to 2015 that their messiah has nothing upstairs to offer remain very fresh with me. Those Buhari loyalists would sometimes almost go violent when you insist their man will fail woefully.

While, you are watching, remember he is not just saying it.

He has done it before in anambra as governor.

He was impeached by the state's assembly for refusing to share money, but won back his mandate in court.

Look at the state of the country. Just look at it.

Isn't it worth condemning?

Failure of govt runs through every sector.

Even NCDC is failing. They can't run up to 20,000 tests before complaining of insufficient test kits despite billions allocated.

Ghana has run 160,000 tests and is still firing.
They want to build 90 hospitals in one year.

How can you not see that things cannot continue like this?
