have you asked questions on what they did with the previous ones they borrowed and don't give me that stupid reply of building infrastructures.

If you can't ask on how they spent 11trn in 5 years then keep quiet and take the back seat.

What is 11 trillion Naira in dollars?

What is 11 trillion Naira divided by even 100 million people?

Many of you lack analytical skills.

Once you realise you aren't talking to your beer parlour mates you resort to inanity.

IMF are good in lending money to useless Leaders yet they care less about what they use the money for

It's unfortunate. Money that will be distributed in Ghana must go bags or allocated for car purchases.

If the loan is approved, expect the Naira to appreciate in value. The money will be injected into the economy.

Also, in a month's time, lockdowns will start to come down in many countries and this will see a lift up in economic activities. This will lead to transportation activities picking up which will lead to a massive jump in the demand for crude oil. Price of crude will jump and may top $40 per barrel.

Such a price point will mean there's more forex in the system which will make any appreciation sustenable for a while. Only question is for how long. Nigeria suffers from double digit inflation so is a candidate for persistent currency depreciation (only economic illiterates will argue with this)

Does this IMF not ask questions about previous loans....

Or are they getting kickbacks on African loans?..

Surely that is a rhetorical question.......

I hope this does not lead to an external debt crisis in the future, since the 90s ,we have experienced a decline in our industrial output and our export performance has not been encouraging, as a continent Africa has the largest number of mineral resources, and africa also has a huge population as 70 % of her population is below the age of 40. But with all of these advantage most African nations still depend on loan and aid to survive or to even make a meaningful budget,The annual income of Google is more than the total income of all west African nations combined,if Nigeria is truly the giant of Africa then the hope of Africa is really bleak .we have develop our human capital, intellectually and our values has to be realigned,The right values always creates value the previous Generation were Enslaved with chains, the next Generation should not be Enslaved with debts, it's time to think outside the box and to also live outside the box#God bless Nigeria#

The fact is, we've never really been free.....How can we have the greatest number of resources and yet be the poorest continent?
