Misterdhee1: Name a country that has ever developed through FDI? Why are you so fixated on whoring yourself out to the highest bidder. If the SW is to develop, it'll be at the hands of the locals. Not McDonalds or Burger King. There's nothing special about Lagos. Lagos as a city, personifies EVERYTHING that is wrong with Nigeria. It exists, as is, solely as a result of government failure, failure to leverage the full potential of the country. So spread development throughout the entire country. Open up ports across the entire Nigerian coast, intrench itself (government) in every area of the country. Most of the Igbo people in Lagos, didn't arrive yesterday. Many arrived before and just after the Nigerian Civil War. The Igbo presence in Lagos is as a result of the actions of non-Igbo people, not this ridiculous notion of sound economic policies - unless you think bottlenecking your own economy, is smart. I don't know if you're aware of this, but Nigeria ranks fairly low, in the area of Ease of Business. So again, you're wrong. And there's nothing particular accommodating about SW people, if this forum is anything to go by. Igbo people are easily the most accommodating in Nigeria. Do you know why? Because despite Yoruba and Hausa-Fulani presence in our lands, you NEVER hear of any incidents. Not so long ago, Yoruba and Hausa people were killing each other on the streets of Lagos - you call that accommodating? 6 Likes |

Benevento:LOL. You gotta like how they draw figure2from their stinking asses. It's always if they did this, if they do that, they have been challenged consistently on this forum to boycott all Yoruba owned stuff, in fact, they always claim to be responsible for the success of almost everything in Lagos and I challenge them on the Lagos airport issue, portharcourt airport is working fine, ateast to back their threat up, let them start using PH airport, Hell, PH is even closer to their land than Lagos, let see if Lagos airport would collapse. The so called market they keep ranting about, Lagos state government has times without number shown it doesn't give a ratass about their markets, he'll markets have been demolished, they have been closed down times without numbers yet these Muppets think Lagos economy solely relies on markets, lmao. That was how they boasted on the thread below, we still await the actions of their threats till today. https://www.nairaland.com/2375155/igbos-map-out-5-years 2 Likes |

rdokoye: Continue to dwell in wonderland. How many yorubas are in the east? You said yorubas aren't accommodating yet the larger potion of rich igbos were made in South West. Aren't you ashamed of your inconsistency? Stories abound on how unreceptive your people are to non-locals' success in your land, especially when it comes to purchase of Lands and properties. Do I begin to count the number of deaths that are recorded each year as a result of Igbo-hausa fights in the East? Even a non-conforming igbo person that practice Islam is seen as ndi hausa. Isn't that intolerance at its worst? What is even in the East that would make it a destination for any sound Yoruba? If you don't know the importance of FDI to developing countries, then I can't help you. You said Lagos personifies everything that's wrong with Nigeria, yeah. Yet, the state ranks above all states in most developmental indices. And yes, many igbo people living in Lagos arrived there 'yesterday.' If that's not the case, most of the Igbos' transport companies would have closed their offices. Lagos is a dreamland to most igbos. You can deny that fact all you want. By government failure, are you including the failures of your leaders as well? Because it is habitual for igbos to never take responsibility. Best of luck bining that habit when you guys get your Biafra. South West was by far the most developed region during regionalism. And yes it was all down to the ingenuity of the locals then, under a visionary leadership. I understand how much you guys overestimate the importance of your 4*4 shops littered all over Lagos. But when the time is right, and biafra becomes a reality, you guys will understand how badly your tribe depends on others to achieve any success. Btw, you are yet to answer my question. 3 Likes |

Kennyswag: Despite the fact that SW will do well in becoming a country why are you guys not working on it... Audio country... I have never seen any SS and SE or even middle belt people sad and ready to frustrate your right for self determination... "Biafra...will be over my dead body..." Kemi Olunloyo They even supported your AMOTEKUN. But seeing reaction from all social media...people from SW are the most Nigerians who don't wish to be on their own...Why is this so? 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kennyswag: Is not about how long? SW gain most from the skewed federation then even the north....that's you are hypocritical and greedy. Did you see your reaction when the north got more from the palliative distribution than the SW? You were crying all over the social media. Imagine what you SW would do if the federal wealth is shared between the SE and the north? You would have formed Oduduwa movement...just like you formed AMOTEKUN and everyone except the north, supported you. That's why SW is the cry, cry baby of unity begging....outfit. Biafra is a work in progress. If the federal government continues its brazen injustice...it will come faster than you can imagine. 4 Likes |

Kennyswag: Lame! May be you are new in the country...but everyone knows the Yorubas are averse to Nigeria splitting because they gain more than everyone other tribe. So when Nigeria wanted independence were't your people going to London daily? So because Kanu mention Osibanjo in his speech, you should attack his organisation? When OPC was working to be separated from Nigeria...did the Igbos mock you? This thread is not retired because they believe you have an edge to be a country of your own even when the forum is against separation...But other threads showing your region gains more than other regions...it is retired. What did this tell you? 4 Likes |

We even hire and pay the likes of Olu Jacobs and Jibola Dabo to show-case our unique culture to the whole world ... Kennyswag: Lool Check the list of the top grossing movies at Nigerian cinemas and you will notice that they are conspicuously absent where the Yorubas are shinning with back-to-back hits ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_highest-grossing_Nigerian_films), not because they are not taking their films to the cinemas but rather because their style of storytelling just aren't doing well there. Consequently, the igboman has found himself in a position that he can no longer control and is therefore frustrated, hence the recent outbursts from the likes of Zubby. The same applies to the music industry. And na that frustration go kill them because nobody will shift for them in today's market. They must be ready to compete like everybody else. The dude is living in old glory. He must think we are in the 99's, the days of ' Chigozo in anambra, Haa my baby Ngozie... 3 Likes 1 Share

Rwanda is a small landlocked country in east africa. Not quite as large as se. Yet its a country to reckon with in african and the world.Rwanda doesnt even have half the resources in the se. It is all about sound leadership. Se will fair well, even if it is landlocked. The Rwanda story tells that for africa, the smaller easier and better to develop and managed. 1 Like |
