How many persons actually pay those tithes? Don't be deceived by those public display among church officials and workers. Where they get their money is from seed sowing, DVD and Christian literatures. As regard tax, the government is at fault for not doing enough to drive high compliance. There is nothing to point as to what the government uses such revenue for hence don't expect high compliance. Many Nigerians resulted to religion since they can't fight for their rights but unfortunately many are been brainwashed.

You are very correct...but I think he is talking about government built mosques, unlike in the south where the churches are almost all built by the members except for one or at most two churches that may have been built by the government..

Remember one governor in the north(whether zamfara or so) budgeted billions of naira to build over 100mosques across the entire state meanwhile they may not have up to 3 functional state hospitals in the entire state...no governor in the south can try that, use billions of naira to build churches across the entire state?..Never.
