The whole of Kenya is in total blackout. But you a kiberan, without shame you talk of HDI?!
Go produce electricity first before you start talking of HDI.

Before that - you signed a take or pay with N-gas. Nigerians are similarly doing the same projections. PLEASE Hobbit understand these things.
Just30:

Our Trillions is Reserves is only producing 450 Standard Cubic feet of Gas daily
Once we exhaust the oil in those wells, we can focus on ramping up gas extracting.

Go and learn how oil is drilled so that maybe when kenya can afford to dig those oil in Turkana, you may get employment.

Next time dont throw tantrums grin grin

Nigeria has more trouble with 9B dollars charge for a gas deal that never took off. You signed with N-gas future contract - take or pay - and this year - it's expected you'll pay 0.85B dollars - more than 4 times our SGR bill - for the GAS you won't get. And Buhari is not in joking mode.

The way Nigeria is broke - don't dare Buhari - he will send Hausa army to rape your women and take his money.

You are making your usual noise again

Ghana and N-Gas supply contract States that N-Gas shall supply Ghana 120SCF of gas daily
Failure to supply to that amount, N-Gas will be surcharged 2 million dollars.

The price of gas can be renegotiated anytime base on market conditions.

Keep making figures up grin grin grin

And you think a broke Nigerian is in the mood to renegotiate. Ask Benin. If they cannot open borders - you think a broke Buhari without money to pay Nigeria army - will have time to negotiate.

Prepare 1B dollars cheque for Buhari for N-gas. You can as well ask IMF to wire the Rapid facility to Nigeria rather than wasting everyone time.

Tell me more about the Kenyan woman who cooked stones for her young children cool life in Kenya is hard like stone, huh? Ghana last I checked is a NATURAL RESOURCE dependant country. They should be with Botswana, South Africa and Namibia - if the skin color of Arabs of Morocco, Libya,Algeria and Dubais is too much for you brain.

They are literally mining MONEY (gold) from their dirt.

And here they are struggling.

Coz they are the small -nigeria.

They have done a great job with redundancy lines in Nairobi and cities. And also trying to go underground for some main lines. I think right now - only western Kenya has issues. Uganda's Jinja is messed up. Once they get hooked up with Geothermal from Naivasha - we can forget blackouts.

So blackouts are now mostly rains bringing down lines.

Do you even know why you had a complete nationwide blackout?
A reason why you had such kind of blackout is due to foolishness of Kenpower. They seems not to understand the peak demand of power in your kibera republic. Simple knowledge of your power demand could have averted a problem by just rationing power instead of going a full blackout.

I am surprised you export very little aluminum. As for the rest - I imagine you hit the jackpot with the ZOO! They cannot manufacture anything.

We have more power than we need. Infact Jinja power imports should be terminated forever..if only we can get out. Not only from overfilled dams - we already had like 200-300MW excess power. Ghana has 2000MW - if they turned on all the big generators they ordered. Bunch of nearthdeathals.

Excess Electricity has no charge on the Ghanaian Government. Electricity demand increases by 34% yearly and by Next year, Ghana wont even have excess power and we will have to invest in more plants to create a reserve capacity.

Kenya does not have the money to invest in power infrastructure to lift Kenyans out of darkness
That is what you should worry about, how will you be able to create excess capacity so that you dont run into the current power challenges your country have at the moment?

You know not of what you speak. You throw out words without the least understanding. SHOW ME A LINK FOR A COUNTRY THAT INCREASED ITS DEMAND BY HALF OF THAT YEARLY.
I'll ignore the rest of your characteristic feminine ways, your constant pretend advice in search of likes from fellow morons

Right. I have learned to ignore the .idi.ot. 34% increase in electricity demand would almost mean a 30% increase in GDP.

Turkana Wind Power - 300MW - largest such in Africa. What we didnt do like Ghana is sign IPPS with diesel generators, That we did in 1999. And since then we have tried to get out. It won't happen for some until 2030.

It was very stupid of you to sign Take or Pay with DIESEL or Thermal GENERATORS in 2014.

Basically Turkana power that generate 300MW is the largest private investment in Kenya history

grin grin grin grin

This is how useless your country is.
Your country need all the power generation is can get in order to move the remain 25 million Kenyans that dont have electricity access out of darkness

and wick lamps smoke inhalation.

Asogli alone produces 580MW
