Excellent. Congratulations!

Hope you've began enrollment? FYI when you get to the Health Insurance question - chose 'exempted' that's how I passed it. It can be completed when you arrive Germany.

Deadline for enrollment according to the portal is July 11th.

Please share whatever information you have.

And I just saw that you're expected to email your acceptance of study place within two weeks to Mrs. Carmen Frey (check the Application for Admission to Sustainable International Agriculture page)

Admission into?
Bsc or MSc?
If it's Bsc you will comfortably get. Whereas for MSc it will be tough your chances are almost zero if you're applying for a competitive course with restricted entry but there's a chance you might get if you're applying for courses with open admission entry (no restriction) because your work/professional experience may count in your favour.
Las Las this journey is per head. It is Grace and God's favour that counts so Never say never keep applying surely one will pull through. What may apply to one candidate may not apply to you as no two people have same experience in its entirety.
Ciao
please I have a degree in geology but will like to go for another degree in computer science/engineering

What are my chances and how competitive is admission

Hi All,

Please, I received this message from UNi-Assist today, and I am wondering if anyone has had a similar setback and how they tackled it.

The following documents were either not submitted, or were not sufficiently certified: Confirmation of the grading system applied by your school or university
Unfortunately, we cannot convert your average grade into the German system due to the lack of the grading system applied by your university for your degree programme. We need information on the highest possible mark and the lowest pass mark required for a bachelor's degree to be awarded by your university. The lowest pass mark for individual subjects is not relevant for the conversion of your grade.

I submitted my BSc Transcript from UNN, and that had my cumulative CGPA in it.... I don't know what else they want....

Please, help your bro...
I don't have sufficient info on this but your school handbook should have a section where cgpa is calculated, scan and send it as pdf to them

@ewatts please if you have an answer to this question, I'll really appreciate it. How to pay the money is my concern and the sending of proof thingy as well.

Your Debit ATM card should work for the international payment. I haven't made any international payment to my school though. If you're not sure, no harm in trying - else, call your account manager and enquire. I think you can buy FX at the official rate from bank if you can prove it's for school, just like buying when you want to travel out. Explore that option to save the cost of making the transaction at bank rate and charges. Another option is to use Transferwise, fund your account in Euro and make payment. Please read about the Transferwise app. I had money in there before the naira ran mad, so it's kinda cheaper for me already in terms of FX rate.

Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Nobody: 5:35am On May 15, 2020
Not at all.

I just opted for the embassy option because i saw they opened briefly to certify documents

Kendocity4u:

BTU Cottbus accept State/Federal High Court Certification/Notarization the last time I checked.......do you have to go to the Embassy for Certification?? Do you live close to the Embassy? Did the school specifically demand for Embassy Certification??
Your Answers will decide the next step to take.......Cheers

MSc Environmental Science
Trier University, Germany

Please I need help with this 'UEQ' thing. Their application website is somehow confusing. I read on Nairaland that 99 is the UEQ for Nigeria, tried it yet it gave me an error message.

If you have applied to this same Uni, kindly help a brother out.

Thanks

Make the payment with your MasterCard/Verve Card.......it’s fast......another option is getting someone(a friend) in Germany to make the payment for you while you transfer the Naira Equivalent to him/her......this option is fast too but it should be done at owners risk.....you should have one or two German Study WhatsApp Group that you’re in.....look for “trustworthy” people already in Germany......it will help you to make subsequent payments as the need arises.......Cheers

Do you plan on writing that Exam b4 then?? Please I will advise you to have other school options if you don’t have already......that GRE Exam is very tough and you need to meet a particular Score/Cut Off to be Eligible for Enrolment.......don’t put all your hopes in that School and feel disappointed later.....I know someone(my close friend) that couldn’t meet up with a Schools IELTS Band Score and so he couldn’t Enrol after being admitted to the school......Na so AD(Scarce AD) and AL take waste.......But if you’re very confident of passing that Exam, please Fire On......All the best.....Be Wise

I don't know how competitive it is, it is always stated in the website so it's there for you to see.

Your motivation letter has to be sound enough to argue why you want a switch from Geology to Computer Science/Engineering but anything is possible keep trying.
