Good to be here after a long time, UAE is just there. If you are strong, you will survive it.

It is not EASY o.

Don't be discouraged, plenty jobs will be available after pandemic, lot of our contenders are going home.

You should have informed your bank before you left Nigeria to activate it for international transactions. Is the card MasterCard or Verve?

The only solution is for you to download UBA App on playstore then fill in your details with pin. This will allow you to transfer to someone's account in exchange for Dirhams. That's what I did in Dubai four days ago.

It was 1Dirham to N117 but the exchange rate has increased to around N119 as at today.

We all speak Pakistani English everyday but I am trying as much as possible for it not to 'destroy' my spoken English.

'working good, my friend' grin grin grin

our people trying to match usd to naira... I really don't understand.
All is well, we will survive.

forget about coming to uae this year, infact traveling abroad to seek greener pasture generally. The whole world is messed up economically, chances of getting a job was 70/30 before the pandemic now I’ll put it at 95/5 so if you wanna take 5% chance of getting a job and 95% chance of returning home empty handed you can give it a try
don't say what you do not know.
there will be lots of competitions for jobs, (limited jobs) because many company have looking for opportunity to close and such companies will never return again.
there will lots of job vacancies... only the experienced and the best CVS will take the first and best available jobs.
the remaining jobs will be fought over by experienced, inexperienced, blue collar and white collar CVs.
it will be tough competition.
your ratio is just your opinion not a fact.

Hello, i entrolled for certified Nursing assistant program, its a 4months course, the school said they help their students in getting a job after the program?Do you think its a good idea to go for this course considering the cost is like 450k,if truely they will give one job?
Ope4Christ:

None.

Every other menial jobs like cleaners, maid, waiter/waitress, packers, construction assistants etc pay between 750 to 1200 Dirhams monthly since they are likely going to give you accommodation. But if accommodation is not given, the salary might increase a bit.

Few technical jobs like drivers, tillers, mechanics, sales attendants etc can earn between 1000 to 2500 Dirhams monthly.

Graduates who have authenticated their certificates like Admin officer, Teachers, Assistant HR, Accountants, Nurses etc can earn between 2500 and 4000 Dirhams monthly. It could be a little bit higher or lesser depending on experience and the type of organisation you work with.

Is the school in UAE? If yes.

You have a good program but no one can guarantee job placement. You need to speak to your admission officer about your fears he/she should help you.

All the best.

Did you do card profiling before you traveled?
Find a uba contact and call them or go through mails. I did mine hoping to be back to naija April ending, card was locked again. I had to update it again.
If you didn't profile your card, it may not be activated for withdrawals.
Is it even better? I got 1k aed, UBA charged 120k naira. That's not a fair deal anyway.

Thank you for shedding more light on this issue. When we talk from experience they would not listen but rather choose to type what they like without proper verification.

I tried to give the best solution to someone's problem he came to type what he wanted.

Using Nigerian bank MasterCard for online/international transaction while in Nigeria will never give you issue but using it outside Nigeria without informing your bank will definitely give you challenges.

Be informed.

Oga there is nothing like verification unless your account is not up to the standard. As long as your account is standard savings, is eligible for international transaction. I used my card at UAE consulate the machine rejected I was told to upgrade the account because it was a student account after upgrading it was successful. A guy I filled form for account I do help him to withdraw because he doesn't know much about atm.
To cut the long story short UBA said is network, i withdraw this morning with the same card you people are talking about.

TO work in the health sector you need DHA or HAAD license before you are considered/employed.
Nurses are in high demand because of the pandemic.
For Dental nurses you can search on job sites to know the intensity of vacancies available.
Also check sites of hospitals, you may see various posts on the career sites.

Marry Google!

Hi, you can go through the unified Professional Qualification Requirements for healthcare professionals who are willing to practice in UAE. You can download it via Google search.
There are more vacancies for nurses generally in UAE but the demand for dental assistants may be less with relatively lower salaries compere to general nurses.
Good thing is that you can be employed for some other roles in the hospital/clinics.
I don't have any information about what your test might look like. I only know that the general nurses found NCLEX past questions very useful.
Good luck.
