And if he is found guilty, how should we look you. Bro those evidence against him are too strong to be wrong cant you see. How can you allow diz kind of person occupy that position when he couldn't fight the bad eggs under his shield...U don't have a point. He bluffed and should face this consequences. For example if funds were transferred from the federation's account for presidential use,who should be held accountable? The president or the Secretary General of the federation? U can argue diz isn't a case financial misappropriation but don't forget he was also accused of financial mismanagement.

I can see where u coming from...
U already conclude he's guilty, so there really no point....
but to answer your question...he's going to step aside for the independent panel to investigate the allegation. If at any time he's found guilty, he's not coming back and will be officially dismissed.

I noticed u swallowed all the allegation hook line and sinker....
I want to assume uve never worked with white people.....
I can bet u the allegation of sexual assault is romantic affair gone sour....
I keep saying it....
If the only thing u learn from white people is freedom and democratic value...
u doomed forever...as a nation or individual.....

And what was the outcome of the allegations leveled against Dominic Strauss-Kahn?

You see, what played out in Dominic Strauss-Kahn’s case is what is about to happen to Adesina. DSK was the leading candidate to replace Nicholas Sarkozy as France president. The US didn’t want him to become France president so they came up with the sexual abuse allegations just to ruin his reputation. After the election in France, the NYPD drop all charges against him over lack of evidence. That is what they want to do to Adesina. Get him out of the race and then declare him innocent of all the allegations. Africa must unite to prevent the US from pulling this through.

That’s why your actions should always be above board. Us intentions may not be pure but one thing I know about the us is that if they are coming after Adesina, then just like Onyema, it’s because they have something on him. Nigerians should learn to do things properly!!!!

If US is serious about removing Akinwunmi Adesina, then he should park his stuff and come back home. In no time another African Economist will be picked by US and all of a sudden the African leaders will throw under Adesina under the bus and go for that US candidate. No African leader will sacrifice annual grants from US or UK for Adesina's candidacy.

I may be wrong but let's watch and see.
Yeah let's watch and see.mark you if the allegations are just political (no substance)then Nigeria will definitely defeat USA antics.Adesina has his clouts Buhari is well respected and now Gambari will also bring all his international connections.

Since his trouble started check and see if I posted anything to support him.

But after having been exonerated at first and then with this allegations that we read here today, it is most likely a political orchestration because of the upcoming elections.

Go through the thread.

There's another thread where he defended himself point by point.

So, no. I'm not supporting him because he's Yoruba. I'm supporting him because it's all panning out to be a vendetta against him to stop him from recontesting.

And no. I don't hate Igbos.

I'd say the same thing if he was Igbo or Kalabari or Zulu.
why are you responding to the irresponsible guy , you should have told the mumu to go and convict him na

Did you read what you typed?
Deeper than that: Elections in USA is coming and the man called Trump is interested on who is on that seat and you are talking that way, when the Trump himself know that it can be used to mobilise the whole group against him.Did you know the person asking for another probe underneath is an American-go and read the articles again!.

The US government is the most crooked government in the world as we can all see. They are corruptly manipulating staff of the bank just to get at Adesina. I can bet the watery allegations was written by the said Mr. Steven Dowd and their intention is very clear; stop Adesina from contesting for a second tenure at all cost. This has absolutely nothing to do with fighting corruption, nepotism or unethical practices. It is a clear case of witch-hunt.

US accused Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the former head of the International Monetary Fund, he was investigated after sending down.

He wasn't indicated, he left with an impeccable personality.

So... Why won't they investigate him, since they're stake holders?

This is a case of "we can't beat him at the Polls for is second term bid as the only sole candidate, let's smear his reputation to make him less credible and unfit" - It is international and board room politics at it best at play here.
The hand writing on the wall is when World Bank's David Malpass (An American) and IMF who are notorious for their draconian and debt plunging economics for African Countries complaints started (About AfDB giving cheap loans too quickly to African Countries).

AfDB under Adeshina brought about low interest loan policy of a single digit to help cushion Africa Over dependence on IMF loans.

Restructuring of AfDB economic policy that better suit African Countries. Thereby reducing francophone countries over dependence on debt trap French loans.

This is not a case of him being incompetent. Adeshina has been lauded by African countries in coming to their needs and peculiarities as ascribed by South Africa, Nigeria and the rest which are the priorities of AfDB.

Nigeria being the largest shareholder over years was under-represented in terms to staff ratio compare to France and the united States.

Again its not a case of incompetency but a game of self interest by the US and France - Its a smear campaign to discredit him pertaining to the next election.

Its time for Nigeria to be strategic and ready to play international politics in order to make Adeshina retain his second term mandate and its also time for Africa to begin her economic emancipation.

Here in nigeria when a move does not seem to be in agreement with our desire, we complain. I see people calling them imperialists like we just woke up. When Demonic Obama summoned the 19 northern states governors meeting claiming it was on security people back here were applauding. The president who was the chief security officer was bypassed meanwhile they were strategizing on how to remove Jonathan. People did not see them as imperialists but now rules of engagement is said to have been broken and we are crying foul.

Who else believe that if Ibori was American governor he will spend the rest of his life in jail. Former mayor Ray Nagin collected 10 yeras but here Ibori was welcomed at the airport with funfare, several chieftaincy / thieftaincy bestowed on him.

I am not against Adesina, but he should remember this is not a nigeria affairs. If he innocent of charges why bothering?

Some Modern slaves will still believe the US is always right despite Adeshina stating his own claims. The earlier we begin to rally around our own no matter what the better for us. Whether right or wrong do not sell your kinsmen cheaply, you can chastise him in person but do not allow outsiders ridicule him because an injury to one is an injury to all. A case of "I can't BREATHE" . If blacks have taken a stand a long time ago no American police will have the audacity to even try such with any other black same applies to whatever concerns Africans. Leave us to ourselves and let's approach our issues Afrocentrically. Screw your grants and funds!

You're right Bro. But the west has bought our bride price a long time ago thanks to junkie African Leaders. Once you pay your wives bride price you can rape her if you want from all Angle nothing will happen that's what's playing under tone. I'm not commenting on this matter again.

But it's better our youths and media stand up to them. Let's make it clear, we know why you guys are acting this way. You did it to Gaddafi, Sadam, Maduro the list is endless when we speak of the evil of the United States the useless Youth call us terrorist Apologist.

They've entered Africa Development Bank next will be Nigeria, if you think what's happening in Venezuela, Chile, Syria, Libya can't happen in Nigeria you're joking.

The reason the west have not started interfering in our politics is because the Leaders we've dance to their tone that favors them financially. let's Elect a leader that'll put Nigeria First that's when the Real evil will come out from corrupt West. I'm going to sleep.

it'll shall be well with all African Leaders dead or Alive as long as they've an hand in putting Africa in this mess same mistake our Ancestors did is same the senseless Youths are repeating it believing a stranger more than your own that's height of Treason useless youths.

I never said Adesina is a saint or innocent, u are the one who concluded he's guilty...
shebi there will be an idependent probe....
To be sincere... Adesina is a goner...guilty or not, he's not coming back...
But I just want u to see how western nations contribute to the under-development of Africa by demonising those Africans who choose to make Africa/Africans a priority........

below is the impact of Adesina as Afdb president.....
First bond of the financial institution was oversubscribed and attracted $4.6 billion of interest at the LSE in april 2020....
Afdb issued 13 billion dollars as social bond to help African countries mitigate the effect of the COVID crisis.....
Considerate loans to African countries making them less dependent shylock-like foreign loans....
Afdb attained AAA rating from Fitch Ratings, Moody’s Investors Service and S&P Global Ratings.....
Afdb doubled its capital base during its tenure and aims to hit a capital base of $208 billion within the next 2 years....

but IMF/WHO are complaining Afdb is issuing too much loans to African countries......
Think bro...think.
