Eyah, Sorry for your family troubles.
The Jws and their families I know can't relate to the above write up. They enjoy peaceful family lives because they apply Bible's advice on family happiness.
I said the witnesses caused the problems. All you can offer is jw dribble. It is an open secret that it’s easier to do business with outsiders than brothers. Another open secret is the misrepresentation of jw as bliss land. I just know Jehovah, will judge all of us one day.

When anyone that do not believe that Jesus christ was God in flesh and deserved to be worshipped ,one do not have the Holyspirit in him is serving another god and do not belong to Jesus christ.
Jehovah witness are sincere but sincerely wrong, they are following human devised fables and creed not God's words. They are trained to defend their cult with indoctrination, nothing you show them on the bible seems right.
I have experience and dealing with a highly placed individual in the organization. Many of them that have seen the light are departing the cult and the die hard brainwashed ones are still dancing and dining with the devil unknowingly.
Stay away from this man made cunningly devised fables religious sect you will lose your self.

Myth: Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in heaven.

.
Truth: Jehovah's Witnesses believe in heaven as the residence of the Creator of the Universe.
.
2. Myth: Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in hell.
.
Truth: This is where people misunderstand themselves. Jehovah's Witnesses believe 'Hell' is the common grave of mankind. Witnesses do not believe in 'hell fire' as it is unbiblical, unless you'll show me where the original sinners -- Adam and Eve -- went to 'hell fire.'
.
3.
Myth: Jehovah's Witnesses do not celebrate anything.
.
Truth: If you mean holidays like birthdays, Christmas etc., of course yes. Think: what is the relevance of Santa Claus in the bible? Do they or not have pagan origins? In fact, Witnesses commemorate the Death of Jesus as Jesus asked his disciples to do.
.
4. Myth: Jehovah's Witness do not speak in tongues.
.
Truth: Well, Jehovah's Witnesses speak many languages as they come from differing lands but do not involve in the ecstatic speaking performed today by religious leaders. The first century Christians who received the gift used it to preach to people (as the early congregants were filled with people from many lands), so they spoke a language and all who heard understood. Note: To preach. Is that what is done today? Don't throw caution to the wind.

.
5. Myth: Jehovah's Witnesses do not do blood transfusions and are wicked to see their loved one die.
.
Truth: Witnesses put much faith in doing God's will. Sorry to disappoint you, they love their children and loved ones. In fact, medical practitioners agree that it is not safe either, and no guarantee of living well or surviving as no blood samples really match another. Besides, there are other non-blood media. Coming to think of it, Witnesses put faith in the resurrection. Yes, so why worry of this wicked world?

Jehovah Witness is a cult meant to manipulate the mind and ultimately drive Christian's away from the goal which is heaven. The earlier people get to know this the better. You want evidence...go do your research.
Oga, I hope you this antidote against this so-called mind manipulation and you are using it effectively with God's backing. If not hold your peace, people are getting wiser now

I just can't understand those guys. The worst part is that the bible passage (acts 15:20) from which they derived that satanic doctrine has absolutely nothing to do with blood transfusion which is an intravenous procedure, but eating, drinking or perhaps sprinkling of blood which are practices associated with idol worship of the gentiles in those days.

Myth:- why do Jehovah witnesses not recite national anthems are there trying to break away from naija?
They do not support joining the army nor fighting for their country. But they like the peace and freedom that comes to the country as a result of the blood spilled by others people from other religion so as to bring peace & freedom to world and country .
Left alone for JW, Hitler & his descendants would have been ruling the world and every non Germans would be slaves or other race who are considered totally inferior would have been exterminated .

Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, ijaw, Urhobo Isoko, Beni etc are the different tongues in Nigeria and I am sure there are witnesses that speaks those tongues.

the apostles did not just uttered meaningless words.

they speak tongues.... that is other people languages.... and were understand by others too

Did it fall on the them like in the apostles' case or did they learn it? Do they speak all these languages to preach through the help of the Holy Spirit or through the help of learning apps? Because if you claim that christians now speak meaningless words (won't comment on that statement of yours) and that the valid tongue is other people's languages, then you must be able to acknowledge that this gift of speaking other people's languages was imparted by the Holy Spirit in the days of pentecost, which differentiate them from the unbeliever that can fluently speak 12 different languages.

For now, I'm paranoid about marriage due to what I experienced as a child.

Bro, same thing I am still contemplating. On a serious note, witness marriages last longer. Going by what I am seeing in our society today of how fast marriages crashed, I might end up going for a witness girl. But the thing is that, you can't marry if you are not part of the organization. If we go by fidelity, give it to witnesses. Their wives will never do those nonsenses marriage people do outside their matrimonial marriages.

The way this people who called themselves “Jehovah witnesses” behaves ehh. This blood transfusion thing naim weak me pass.
I can never forget Mama Precious. It was her delivery day she was rushed to this hospital where my mom works, she was my neighbor , she had lots of birth complications this made her lose lots of blood. In fact, she had broken water inside her it’s a very ugly situation that day you could see it all on the face of her husband. Even the cab that brought us to the hospital was blood flooded. Soon, the doctor said she has to go through an operation session but that she has to receive two pant of blood first. The man bluntly refused even with his wife and unborn child at the blink of death. We all keep begging and talking to this man for more than 40min he refused and soon the Doctor in charge got angry and asked them to leave the hospital while he goes home for rest. She died that day I hated that man till date for that incident. If y’all really have faith like you said then why do you use drugs If you had malaria why don’t you wait on the lord and continue attending meetings. Don’t you know drugs also contain some ingredients that isn’t 100% good for the body. Or if you said blood transfusions are cannibalisms act like most of you claim, then why do your girls rub makeups don’t you know most of this cosmetic ingredients are worms from graveyards?? Feeding on dead bodies.Although I’ve meet smart Jehovah witnesses who leave their environment to another place to have themselves treated without anyone knowing. Those ones get sense na. I know y’all wouldn’t listen to what anyone has to say but please if you’re in this situation I beg you let the person have his/her blood transfusions and you can disown them or dismember them. Just let this beautiful souls live please!!

On point 4, what is being done today with speaking in tongues by the religious leaders? What purpose is the speaking in tongue for? Also, was the speaking in tongues used to preach alone and in how many occasions in the bible did it happen? Did the first century Christian speak in tongues in the congregation? Also, since the use it to preach only, were speaking in tongues preaching House to house or they spoke it in their congregation?

About speaking in tongues, i once heard a witness (a lady) saying that people who speak in tongues are speaking gibberish and nonsense.
She said when the Apostles died, the Holyspirit went back to heaven and there's no such thing as speaking in tongues or Holyspirit on earth.

We lost a secondary school mate to such an ignorant faith. However, this parents were of Faith Tabernacle who claimed they do not go to hospital. The oy fell down for a palm tree while cutting palm fronts in preparation to our inter house sports (those who schooled in the 80's & 90's will understand). The guy died at home from broken bones, pains and so much lost of blood after his parents could not be convinced to seek medical attention
