what is the duration for engineering course in university of Ghana
Re: Aerial And Ground Pictures Of The University Of Ghana by Torture2020: 12:20pm On Jun 10, 2020
i wonder why we Africans are like this. Let's learn to celebrate each other instead of all these pettiness.

if you want to know why Ghana is doing better, check their education budget. Ghana's education budget for a country of less than 30 million, is the same for Nigeria, a country with a population of 201 million. so I don't know some people are surprised that the University of Ghana has very good infrastructure and facilities. it is simple, the Government of Ghana has invested a lot over the years and still investing a lot in education.

engineering is normally four years, I think. But for engineering courses, you have to go the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, in Kumasi. There are no engineering courses at Legon. Kumasi is also a good univesity

And where are those posting university of first choice or last choice and those posting oduduwa university or whatever. Oya ABU, show yourself now. This is just University of Ghana o! cool

You know, when you reside within a particular geographical zone for too long a time; it makes you begin to see that particular space as the most beautiful environment after fried rice! grin grin grin

That's why they say people should travel. Even if you don't travel. Read book and magazines about things outside your abode. They better shut their trash mouths and ask their individual countries to do better.

See the use of space, see the architecture. Wow. Very beautiful. Those buildings would cost almost same in Nigeria but you can see what sets them apart is how they blended it with the environment and used nature to enhance the surroundings....and most importantly the landscaped the environment.

By the way, what do you mean by few Universities?
A Country of about 30 Million population,
12 Public Universities,
10 Public Technical Universities,
48 Teacher Training Schools
30 Public Nursing Training Colleges and 16 Private Nursing training Colleges
5 Public Agriculture Training Colleges
Other public and Private institutes/Colleges and
Over 50 Private Universities.

With your over 200Million population, compare and contrast and find out between Ghana and Nigeria which country has more Tertiary Institutions.

Don't say things out of jealousy okay..

I can also take select pictures of covenant or other schools and it would beat this.

Where is the University of Ghana in the top 10 in Africa?

Two or three Nigerian schools are ahead of it.

This man sef, is it those one story building private universities in Ghana that you are counting. Asides from Kwame Nkruma and University of Ghana, and maybe Takoradi poly and Ho poly the rest are glorified secondary schools. If you are a Nigerian and you believe Ghana is better than us thats your cup of tea. Let them show other universities and by the way Nigeria has more than enough universities. 36 states with at least 3 universities plus private universities and you say it's not enough?

Don't talk out of context he didn't mention they are better in academics but architecturally wise.
Just Imagine if Many Nigerian Universities are conducive, students will be comfortable and learning will be easier ehn. But instead they make things stressful.
Many Nigerian school student claiming of conducive and better Architecture ought not
talk because they have been existing nothing less than 10 years before them except Some private ones.
University of Ghana1948---- University of Ibadan 1948 now compare them in buildings and conduciveness
