Yobo vs Maguire on Twitter. smh

Ighalo and Auba were snubbed by teammates on matchday.

Ian Wright and Keane noted this seperately.

Elyte, it's alright. Leave the lots that are finding it very hard to comprehend. If information sharing has become hype, then we are all hyping players in here. Lol.
Komekn has been shouting and singing that Nwakali hasn't played football in a long time bla bla bla and was even making mockery comments of the lad when I and a few others shared info that Nwakali could be making his return in the Backwaters of the the Spanish third or fourth division with CD Ejea. Turns out that plan was scrapped as Huesca decided to keep him.

The narrative has always been that he makes his return to football soon so that he doesn't end up being another potential that never got realised.

Now he has made his debut and gave a very fine account of himself in that cameo and people like komekn are jumping in to say we should not talk about it?? Is that not misplaced thinking??! We should not talk about a Nigerian player and Senior team prospect on a Super Eagles thread?? A player that Rohr and his media officer, Toyin were glad to see play again. It is funny.

My posts on the lad like the one below say it all. He has a long way to go but I am super glad to see him back and back with such fine display in his short time on-field. If he played badly, we would be talking about that... But he played well and that is what we must report. If someone isn't happy he is back, then fine... Not my problem in any way. Just doing what I love to do. Dropping reports on our players as much as I can. wink

l Iove it when people believe in potentials and refuse to give up on it.
I like it when we believe the best of every person, and
i am filled with euphoria whenever success, no matter how little, is celebrated.

Thumbs up to the super, duper nerd.

I think Kelechi Nwakali fighting to get back to football should be commended and a cameo performance celebrated as a start of great things to come.

He still remains a bright talent nurtured in our system and high belief for him to succeed should not be belittled.

For all your long talk, it doesn't change a simple truth.
Igbekeme was as hyped as much as Nwakali and even more.
That is all my quotes with your name tagged shows. So If you still don't get that, that's your problem.

And I cover a lot of players here despite my work/engagements schedule. I do the best I can to watch and cover those I can. Those I miss out on can be taken up by others. There is no sole person assigned the task of mentioning a player. If you know you have something on Igbekeme to share with the rest of the class, please do. Don't sit down there shouting and waiting for people to do something.

And the truth is, Igbekeme has not been awesome this season at all. He has been bloody average. Perhaps that is why no one including yourself have bothered to give him a mention for this season. We have a lot of players to cover and it is not possible one person mentions all especially when such player has not really made the headlines like before.

We have guys in Belarus I haven't even bothered giving mentions too. We have guys in Switzerland, Austria, Latvia and Hungary too. Young boys balling that I haven't mentioned so frequently or even at all. You think I got all the time? You better start contributing to the thread instead of whining like a child screaming non-existent favouritism nonsense and you can start by dropping reports on Igbekeme since it bothers you so much. No one is stopping you from doing so.

P.S: I have it on good authority that Rohr was really happy with Nwakali's return and hopes he can continue. And from a tactical/analytical point of view, I understand Rohr looks at Nwakali as a very different midfield option compared to what we have. He is not keen on having him so soon as the lad needs to settle in at Huesca properly and get minutes under his belt but he got his eyes on him. He is seen as one player who has the ability and potential to feature as a deeplying playmaker and also interpret the CM role in another fine way. Now this is quite different from what Igbekeme offers. What Igbekeme gives you is what the likes of Etebo and Ramon Azeez can also give you. Lots of running (workrate) and energy with decent passing in tow. Igbekeme will bring nothing different. Nothing unique. Just another similar option to what we already have and he's not even better than them.

I am just letting you know so that you will understand that it is not just about doing well, It is about having what the team needs that can expand our options and our plays.

This is what they don't seem to understand. So we should just forget about him b'cos of his struggles??!! I bet we should have given up on Osimhen too. I bet Rohr was wrong to have blooded Osimhen in as early as 2017 while a Kayode was being supposedly ignored. I guess that was wrong and today Osimhen is crap right?!

I'm not saying this always pays off but we can see that belief in our own homegrown high yield talents combined with giving chances to the best of those who also didn't come through our home youth system will help us get the most of the best of the bunch out there if not all.

The truth is... One needs to always keep eyes on the big picture.

For Toyin Ibitoye, you can check his Twitter handle. He expressed it unashamedly. Very clear. Feel free to go to twitter.

As for Rohr, sorry, I cannot show you. I got the info from a very close source to Rohr. You don't have to believe it. grin

And Rohr picked Chidiebere but Chidi didn't play did he? If I recall, Chidi has no senior cap yet. Kelechi has one against Liberia but I don't even think that counts. Even Kelechi doesn't have an actual senior cap. But I think I won't fault Rohr if he thinks Kelechi's talents can come good based on what he's got in his game. But right now... A national team invite is not on the table. What is on the table now is Kelechi getting his ass into work at Huesca and really working his way back. That is the focus now. And if that works out, it will also be good for the Super Eagles in the long run, b'cos he has something we need in our midfield as another unique option. Rohr knows that.

He has been average at best this season to be factual. He got the minutes but he hasn't been spectacular.

And again, I repeat... Start contributing to the thread by dropping the next report on Igbekeme when he plays. How about you do that instead of waiting for me or anybody else? I got eyes on many players and I am personally looking at what is best for the Super Eagles in the long run so don't expect me to be slowed down just b'cos of Igbekeme.
It's not like he will add anything unique to the team.

It's like you are not reading at all. I already said the game against Liberia doesn't even count. That's one.

Secondly, no one is talking about inviting Nwakali now even when international football resumes later this year, if it would resume this year. Let the lad return to football in peace. Why are you so worked up about something that even some of us aren't bothered by? The lad just returned... And you think a NT invite is the next thing? Goodness... You guys wow me. Lol

Lastly, I already said I don't expect you to believe it but I can confidently tell you that I know someone who chats well with Rohr. I just cannot share everything for very obvious reasons. Don't hate the facts bro. I don't have to prove anything but It's just what it is. I do have sources. wink

Ahead for Inigo Eguaras? Or ahead of Alberto Soro? You are now overhyping the lad. grin Oga he is average at best. And average is not even a bad thing.

Now, I don't know what else you want from K.Nwakali. The guy just returned and you expect he already has a position on his team? He just made his debut and you are already thinking of using that to rate his worth to the team? I don't get you. You are the sentimental one from what I see. Kelechi nwakali saw 8min of game time in laliga 2 and una no go allow person hear word. @supernerd i doubt if you have seen igbekeme play and if you have you will never compare his style of play to that of etebo.

James have been one of zaragoza's best player since he joined and for that was rewarded with a new contract few days ago.

And who told you rohr is so keen on kelechi nwakali? Dude have to get back to his best and hopefully mk the leap with huesca to laliga before such will happen.

A player like azeez did it consistently in the spanish 2nd tier but never got a look in until he returned to laliga with garanada and immediately was recalled to the team.

Kelechi nwakali still have a lot to do but to he honest he is on the right path. He is one player i had alot of high hopes on and wish he will turn his career.

I really like Etebo and have soft spot for him.

But your proposition just doesn't stand up to inspection. What does it mean to outgrow your team❓

To outgrow l would presume means to be outstanding better than anybody in the team and to be a top performer in the league.

Stoke city paid £6.3m for Etebo even by Championship standard it is not a lot of money.

So was Etebo consistently giving top level performances in the Championship ❓ Was he the best Midfielder in Stoke❓ Was he noticeably among the top 5 best midfielders in the Championship ❓ ❓

Stoke was relegated from the EPL three seasons ago and still have a number of quality players like former Liverpool player Joe Allen, etc

One of Stokes most outstanding players was striker Tyrese Campbell not Etebo. I don't even think using statistics that Etebo is in the top 5.

A manager does not drop a player when he is performing.

Consider the bold, if your performance is not above standard then what's your ambition. The reality is it you perform outstandingly in the Championship the EPL will knock on your door very loudly.

Unfortunately Etebo did none of these and going on loan was the best option to revive his career.

There is nothing like 'a manager' when it comes to Stoke. Since Etebo joined, Stoke has changed managers 5 times.

He went injured at the beginning of his second season, this season, and found it hard to break into the new manager's team. He missed the first two games through injury, and was on the bench for the next two. In those games Stoke got only one point from a possible 12. He got a

In his team, he had the most touches, joint most shots, was the most fouled, blocked the most shots and was the second highest rated outfield player.
In the next game, he had the highest pass accuracy, Stoke still lost. He didn't start the next game but started the next.

In his fourth start Etebo had a rating of 8.45, one of the highest for that week, he didn't even score or assist, yet Stoke city lost. From then, Etebo was garnering an average rating of 7.4 per match. Two games before the the manager was sacked, Etebo picked up an injury and never got a look in.

So in short, Etebo wasn't poor, but the form of the team and uncertainty at the club was the problem.

My goodness see how you are reasoning.

Quality is by performance not by mouth Oh, you use the term MILES ABOVE .

You are being sentimental not objective or rational.

Look below Etebo performance in Stoke not in the Championship just his team. Not too much talk required.

This is half of the story man, Etebo has played 45+ Mins just 7 times, if you add up those ratings, he will be the 3rd best rated player in Stoke. That is high for a midfielder.

We shouldn't excuse mediocrity, we also shouldn't judge unfairly, man.

Bro this is a double standard thread and you know it

Anybody wey wan follow me argue that one na wahala e Dey find

Nwakali has not been doing well ,I don’t know what’s special about getting an 8 minute cameo

I wish him the best and I hope he reach his potential

I pray his team makes it to the laliga because they are up there in a good position .

Best midfielder on the Zaragoza team?? Are you being serious right now? Lol... Please he is averagely decent but not the best midfielder on his team abeg. The best? Ahead of Raul Guti? Ahead for Inigo Eguaras? Or ahead of Alberto Soro? You are now overhyping the lad. grin Oga he is average at best. And average is not even a bad thing.

Now, I don't know what else you want from K.Nwakali. The guy just returned and you expect he already has a position on his team? He just made his debut and you are already thinking of using that to rate his worth to the team? I don't get you. You are the sentimental one from what I see. Nwakali is still a neonate in that team despite that very encouraging cameo. Let him grow into the team. What's the rush to start rating him in his new team after just one 13 mins appearance? You are pretty funny man.
And no one is talking of an NT invite for him now but the selectors and a few persons working with the SE team are just excited he is finding his feet again b'cos he remains on their radar in the long run "if" he comes good eventually. Gerrit? wink

no doubt igbekeme is an average player no doubt but in his team setting he is not an average he has been on top form this season and according to whoscored he is one of the best midfielder in the team and the 5th best in the entire team he even played in copa Del rey against real Madrid and he had a cool game
you said rohr is keen on nwakali considering his resurgence in segunda division without any biasness from rohr and other stakeholder igbekeme should be consider ahead of him and moreover sef huesca is not guarantee for LA liga next season they are still fourth on d table

there Is a theory in this group then that a lion in a smaller league is better than a mouse in bigger league ....but unfortunately this is only applied for their prefered players
