When the seaport commences full operation next year, and IOCs relocate the new 21 smart building, coconut refinery start production and Akwa Ibom airport terminial completed, then i doubt whether they will be any state in Nigeria will be stand or be march with Akwa Ibom in terms of IGR, industrialization, job creation, Development and many more. Nigerian leadership has a serious problem of misplaced priority,do the state need a car production factory,how many people can afford a new car or will the factory be producing Keke for transportation which may even be more lucrative than car production,innoson and other automotive companies are still battling to stay afloat in Nigeria and they want to build another company that is already doomed before starting,there are other areas the government can invest that will benefit the common man,a mega palm oil or cocoa plantation could have been a better bet,with processing factories to add value to finished goods it will be vertical intergration at it's best,the type of products that will come out of such estates will be world class ,from raw oils,edible oils,soap,beverages,food products,even animal farms can be set up to utilize the waste cake for meat and milk production, Africa is a virgin ground for business,many countries in Africa depends on food imports from Europe and Asia,to survive,Nigeria is in a position to fill that gap.
