Mjosh1000 sorry for your ordeal brother. I can imagine how you felt those days you were not with the car to ‘move’ lagos. Anywhere you see lastma bro no even try that one way. If you see police, you can risk it. Be wise bro.

——————————————————————

On Monday morning after the ordeal brother decided to brace up and go online. Picked a rider and sees terrible traffic on their route.

Mjosh: There’s traffic on this route, I think it will be better if we use an alternative route.

Rider: No that route is too far, I’m quite late for my meeting. Can’t you just blow one way?

Do you know that some drivers do not know how to use their GPS properly? Sometimes, your map will take you through a longer route, when your pickup is actually close by. Sometimes, your gps doesn’t respond (noticed this last week). “In 100 meters, take the ramp on the left”- some people will still pass the ramp. “At the round about, take the 1st,2nd, 3rd, 4th exit”- this one Dey confuse me sometimes sha . Once you get your request, take some seconds to study the pickup location before u move. Some times, the pick up is just behind you but Mr google map wants you to make a turn in 600m (it could be because your car was facing the wrong direction as at when the request came in). Also, ask questions when u aren’t sure, it helps.

Have a great day guys.

For the exits at roundabouts, use the 'roundabout image' (the circle and direction to go) to know where to go. If you rely on sound alone, you'll be lost.

For pickups, it should say, go North or South towards a particular street or landmark. Study your position in relation to the map and drive according.

Extra tip: If you are in doubt just drive slowly, if you are in the right direction, the distance towards the next turning would reduce. If not, it would re-route you then you go the opposite direction which should be fine.

Stop quoting out of context. He said 30k inclusive of 10k tip. And yes it’s very possible. I did 20k plus last week sunday. Although it was just my luck as it’s not an everyday thing but trip selection and positioning really helps.

I think his best bet is to see panel as someone suggested. Reason been that, there is a channel for water from roof to the door, so there is possibly a blockage. Because even if he use the potty to block it, the water will surely find another angle....
Yes you're right and most definitely he will need a panel beater to remove that croon on top of the roof to know where the leakage is coming from.

I speak and advise from experience, else I wouldn't dive into comments. Though I disnt go through all of those process of removing windscreen or croon, I only directed and worked with the panel guy to fix it by using potty since I'd the best understanding of where the problem was.

Greetings good people, Bolt recently activated me, and I have done 20 trips so far in 3 days.
I still have a 5 star rating.

Please See what someone said on one Uber-Bolt driver forum:

"... You’ll not be under pressure and your 5 star is assured (5 star rating is possible in Bolt but not in Uber - find attached)..."

Why is this so? Can anyone enlighten me please?

Hello great pilots in the house.

I want make una hear this one ooo.

I pick a rider from Vono Street, Ilupeju to Agbado Crossing. On my way coming back I was arrested by the police at Agbado Crossing Junction. They told me this is Ogun State and there is lockdown. I picked my phone and called the rider and she came to meet me. She begged the police but they refused to let me go.

While she was crying, the Chairman of the NURTW of the whole of Agbado/Alakuko saw her and asked what the problem is, she told him everything.
The chairman asked me to come. He asked me how much was my total money for the trip and I said #2,200.

He was surprised and he said, "YOU CAME FROM ILUPEJU TO AGBADO CROSSING FOR #2,200.

He asked me if I'm married and I said yes. He now said, "how do you feed your wife and kIds?"

Shame catch me because I know where the man was going.

He further said that we Uber drivers are under taskmasters. That how can you carry #2,200 from Lagos to Ogun State.

The rider was silent, she couldn't say a word.

The chairman later called one.of his boys and asked him to give me #2k. He called the police by himself and asked him to collect the #2k from me. He said the trip i brought here was a card trip and it was my first trip and the #2k was given to me by him.

That was how I was released.

The chairman told me finally as I start my car to go. He said, "o je lo wase mi se.".... "meaning, go and look for another work and be doing."

My people this was my experience today Saturday, June 27th, 2020.

Please help me, it really messing up my car

If you have rust part on top of your car close to windscreen edge..most likely the culprit.

Advice for you,

Please 1st 4mins of this video were all irrelevances.
Save people lot of time listening to unnecessary intros. Just go straight to the story.

And then make all comments at the end of the story.
You actually do lot of repetition in between your story.
