That is what you think but their data says otherwise, there are less than 30k sub from Nigeria on Netflix

Btw Netflix does not show what the boys like and that is football.

They are ones overbidding the viewing rights so as to knock everyone out.

Nobody seems to be looking at the angle of the persistent clamour for Pay as you Go that is gaining momentum.

As they say " Winch cry yesterday, pikin die today', who know no say na the winch kill the pikin.?

Is it now that they have just realised the dwindling value of the Naira?

Mind you, the reviewed their rates less than a month ago.

Since they claim the bulk of their subscribers are in SA, let them concentrate on that market and remember to take MTN along when leaving.

Netflix don't do sport only movies

Also netflix didn't pay Genevieve any 30 million dollars for some crap movie.

Lastly, the highest Genevieve can get is 30-50k dollars or even lesser.

Black lives matter , they scream. Purchasing rights in our Colonial Master leagues instead of investing $250 million directly in developing sports in Nigeria annually. No Wonder they boo African players and make monkey chants.

We import everything including sports. The surprising thing is that those in UK don't know that part of our money is used to develop their sport. They tell you to your face that people in Africa live in huts and cannot even afford their jersey

Colonialism was better, people knew they were slaves. Neocolonialism is worse, people gladly accept it.

Note, I'm a football lover . China sacrificed imports her citizens loved most to build their economy to what it is today.

Then their business is finished. Football is the only reason we still pay for DSTV at home. All the movies, other channels and shows they have come years after other regions and in low quality compared to streaming services.

Let me just find an alternative football streaming option and dump these people for good.

If you have KODI app, good network and affordable data, you don't need DSTV .

HiTV spoilt the market. They really made things difficult for DStv and we are still bearing the high cost of their stupidity

easy dey blow the lie Na...
30million where??
how much did Lionheart gross??.
ogbeni no dey over blow.
.
Meanwhile all this can be traced backed to Hitv's reckless spending and foolish bidding in 2007.
The whole of subsaharan Africa rights used to cost just around $40m for 3yrs. HiTv came, succeeded in divorcing Nigeria from the rest of the subsaharan African block and put in a bid of $100m for Nigeria alone in 2007!.. absolute madness.
That, with the downward spiral of the Naira brought us where we are today.
Pathetic

Multichoice can't survive without premier league and champions league especially in Nigeria. They won't have a choice but to renew the contract . Meanwhile, do you know that you can make $500 or more playing your favorite games online ? Connect with me on whatsapp to find out more on 08033407643

If they are not greedy they would share the right with others and use bbn to shore up their revenue.

That would even help them reduce their subscription to accommodate more interest.

They have wrestling and entertainment to add to tghe mix and very professional programming

They promised to open SS3 for me if I subscribe to one package like this with #4615 before July 2nd, I was happy cos I really want to watch Chelsea match tonight in my home. I did the sub yesterday night, SS3 was opened, and was happy, by this morning SS3 was removed. DSTV are bunch of thieves.
The Promo was on since May1st and ended June 30,you had to do your own subscription on the last day?

Economic realities are subjective.

When your salary comes in time, you eat chicken. As the salary reduces you eat products of Chicken (Eggs) and subsequently you begin to eat chicken's food, (maize and millet), and finally, when salary is finished, you become chicken itself, spending your time walking around just looking for what to eat"!

Everyone is on a different level.
