luvinhubby: Replacement of engine mount worked Thanks luvinhubby |
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Godson213: 10:38am On Aug 12, 2020 |
youngice: It can be fixed but it’s a 50/50 chance that it won’t spoil back again. I fixed mine and it’s still okay. Fix it first at the rate of 6-7K. New one is around 30k |
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by MARKone(m): 12:38am On Aug 13, 2020 |
@ luvinhubby Well done. Honda accord 2003 revs accompanied by a jerk before changing gear, happens mostly when moving from 2 to 3. It's a 4 plug, automatic and has been scanned severally with just 02 sensor error, both gear solenoid have been removed and serviced, still same issue. Please any ideas. |

I carried a lot of persons today with my HONDA PILOT 2003 to the wake keep of my Grandma but was shocked how the Tyres bent as if they wanted to fall lolz The Nissan Pathfinder that we left together with same load just bent low but the Tyres didn't bent side ways What could be the Cause What is faulty ....or is it normal? |
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by selfmadeOLX(m): 7:06pm On Aug 13, 2020 |
Godson213: Either you’re not very knowledgeable about these things and Honda products in general or like I said before, you lots cannot maintenan your vehicle properly. First off, a power steering rack (especially in a Honda) isn’t a part that should be replaced with a used unit. What warranty do you get on a used one with unverifiable miles on it that it wont start leaking and go out after a couple of a thousand miles? Something delicate and sensitive as that should be replaced with a brand new OEM unit. If you then buy a supposedly ‘brand new’ unit at ladipo for 35k then that is a chinese knock-off part and not actual OEM. |

Johnsonkeyz2019:Your SUV has multilink rear suspension setup. They contain various control arms and bushings which may become worn out over time. It is noted that the PILOT 1st generation models have a rear wheel negative camber setup, but when your shocks or one or more bushings go bad, or even when you have fully loaded that suv, it 'gives' that rear squat stance. NOTE: that slight negative camber setup in Honda pilot is meant for stability on speeds. 2 Likes 1 Share |

selfmadeOLX: You can get very decent pulled or fairly used parts, including steering racks from the market and still have value for money from it. 1 Like |

Good morning all. I have a quick (newbie) question. Why is the European version of the 8th Gen Honda not popularly exported to Naija? Most of the offerings for sale are the North American version? The Euro version has sharper lines and better looking than the round-bottomed North American ones that predominate IMO. Is there a particular reason for this preference? And will the Euro spec command a premium? Thanks for your time. |

I need advice. I have decided to go with Honda Civic 2008 (American spec) as my first car. I don't know the first thing about cars, but I just like the build and beauty of the civic. I just want to know if it's a troublesome car, what are the things to look out for (I plan to buy a Nigerian used) 1 Like |

Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Eldemmi(m): 7:47am On Aug 16, 2020 |
odewole16: for the engine oil spec check the oil cap ..use synthetic or conventional oil.. if u re buying synthetic find out whether that it what the previous owner was using before if not stick to mineral oil and buy the specified ratings writing on d cap.... don't use 20w50 as the kazeem will advise u to. for the transmission use only genuine Honda DW buy from trusted sellers too. |
