Dont worry, they will sign 1-2 players, but dont expect 4-5 players. Fans are expecting the club to sign 4-5 players because they can see Chelsea doing great in the transfer market.

They will def add 1-2 players. Watch!

I don't think fans are expecting 4-5 players in this window. At least, not any of us here on this board. That will be ridiculous. But this Woodward and his people, dem de talk like dem no even wan sign anybody at all.

The likes of Madrid/Chelsea make a lot from player sales because they have sensible people in charge of those negotiations. Madrid would have gotten like 30m to 40m from Sanchez sale.

But in our own club, we have fools who handout bumper contracts to players who do next to nothing which directly affects their transfer fees when we want to sell.

If United, cant use money from player sales to bankroll transfers, then they can at least use income from other sources to do that....but they cant coz they have to first of all pay themselves consultancy fees and then service debts they incurred on the club with whatever is left.

We sold Ronaldo for 80m. But we used 30m to buy 2 average joes in Obertan and Valencia just to replace Ronaldo.
The remaining 50m must have been used to payoff the Glazers for their troubles.

Exactly what they've been doing. We all know that we dont get a lot from transfers, but we are competing with the big boys in terms of outflow.

Like I said the other time, I'm looking at the data and only City has outspent us in the last 5 years. Meanwhile Leicester, Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and City have done better during that same period. We can blame Glazers and Ed for many things, spending money is not one of them

Naso the thing dey work na, you think they just share transfer proceeds. I wont be suprised if the Glazers have taken less than 500m pounds from the club since 2005. Of course, I can access the financial statements and extract consultancy fees and dividends paid till date.

They're not worth that because they're in your club. When he leaves, it will feel like they're worth that.

At the end of the day, we had one of the best defense in Europe, but but they're still your problem

See ehn, they will def sign 1 player. But tell me that the fans wont complain that 1-2 signings are not enough for OGS because we only have 11 players, the other ones on the bench are not good enough, squad is still lean and there are just one 1 or 2 players on the bench.

Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by nitrogen(m): 5:28pm On Aug 29, 2020
The outflow of 1 billion to the family is BS.

Imagine this, "The Glazer family were paid fees of £6m for the 2011 financial year, £4.325m in 2010, and a little under £3m in 2009"....

Let's assume they increase the fees to 20m per 3 years, so in 9 years, they got 60m, while in the last 10 years, they got 127m in dividends, that's just about 190m in fees and dividends in 10 years. So, where is the 1 billion coming from? Also, even if they've they've taken out 400m since inception, the amount wont do shit, because they have always spent heavily on the club.

The Glazers will make money when they sell, not when holding, because the banks are there to ensure they dont pay huge dividends and consultancy fees.

Fan blogs will just be feeding you with shitty stuffs because they dont want to agree that we have entered post Fergie era.

But OGS decided to stick with same starting 11, when we had players on the bench. You dont neglect your Corolla because you have a Bugatti, one day your Buggati will breakdown because it's tired, and then your Corolla will refuse to start.

Giroud, Abraham, Mount are not fantastic players, but Frank did not discard them and play the same starting 11 throughout last season.

It's not rocket science!

You have been all complaints for sometime now. Exactly what do you want the club to do, let's understand your point better.

Yes, they spent average of 200m but they did average of 110m in inflows to reduce that.

2019/20 Madrid's outflow was 317.25m and inflow was 117m
2018/19, Madrid's outflow was 146.48m and inflow was 120.69m

BTW, why did you not pick last 5 years or something? see below transfer flows between 2014 and 2018. Madrid spent less than 100m in 3 seasons and slightly above 100m in one season. Dont even talk about net spend o, just outflow. It shows that Madrid, one of the big boys actually dont spend heavily everytime. They change managers to utilize what they have.

2017/18, Madrid's outflow was 36.45m and inflow was 115.64m
2016/17, Madrid's outflow was 27m and inflow was 33.75m
2015/16, Madrid's outflow was 76.5m and inflow was 14.09m
2014/15, Madrid's outflow was 113.4m and inflow was 101.4m

Two years ago, Madrid's net spend in 5 seasons was -95m (negative), and they won 4 UCL trophies.
wow shocked amazing

Hala Madrid grin cool

The video/analysis is BS, so, until the Glazers put in their personal money before you can say that an investment has been made? Nawa o.

Wait, Chelsea has spent just about the same amount we spent last season, while they had no chance to do anything last season, so what are we saying now? Must you invest every season? Some clubs invest massively in a season and only buy one or two players the following season, must you spend 200m every year? Maybe, you guys are angry that Chelsea (a club on transfer ban last season) is spending.

BS!

Thank you ojare, even the author admitted that United (Glaziers) has spent over £1billion on transfer in the last 7 years without winning the EPL. If the Glaziers didn't approve the spending, would the club spent it? Was it Glaziers fault that unites spent £50m on Wan bisaka or £80m on Maguire? £50 something million on Fred or the rubbish contract we offered Sanchez plus all the other rubbish signing we made with the £1+billion. A whopping £1billion, and people are still blaming the owners. Southampton that didn't spend so much and with average players play better football compared to us. Now some fans want the Club to blow £108m on Sancho and if that doesn't work out, they will blame the Glaziers again. Chelsea are signing quality gifted players for cheap, but Woodward will always look for the super expensive average players to throw the money at..

We keep trying till it clicks, yes we've spent, if it's not enough to get us to were we want to be, we don't keep quiet, we keep spending till we get it right, unless the richest club we are called is only audio. After all Ed opened his big mouth to say "we can do things in the transfer market that other teams can only dream of". It's funny cos some of us are dreaming of Chelsea's transfer window so far.

Now this comment is interesting, if you fear for the league champions with all the quality in their ranks if they don't improve on their squad I wonder what will happen to us if we don't buy.

Good goal. But it is a friendly against weak opposition.

Hopefully he uses this loan to work on his strength, passing, decision making.

But then, I personally don't think Ole is tactically sound enough to lead us to the promise land

Just look at Arteta

Shouting 200m everywhere.

Is Maguire worth 80m?
Is Wan-Bissaka worth 60m?

The money was used to purchase 4 players, and 2 are overpriced.

But your bias won’t let you see that. Follow Chelsea fans and be shouting “200m” lmaoooo
This here is my point, Glaziers release money for transfer, the money is mis-managed and the Glaziers are to blame?
