Though I feel concerned but I have decided to go for the fall online session whether visa is granted or not am so tired of always popping up to check updates, cos I don't know their plan again

Biometric request on 16th July
Biometrics updated 25th August

Fall Session starting sept 12

If visa isn't granted now, I would fully and squarely focus online and after my master's I would apply for permanent residency under skilled work programme, it's dat time they would have no option.

My only fear is if there would be option for students that are denied to have other semester as online even after the covid19.

Let me go and check Australia or Netherlands self....

Now i want to further my studies in any closely related field (in a Canadian University), but considering my second class lower grade i won't be able to get an admission into most universities abroad. I know i will need to do a post graduate diploma before i do a Masters. Please i need info on affordable shools in canada that offer PGD in mechanical engineering...

1, Please just to add that i don't have a landed property yet,

2, I cannot get a study leave letter from my current place of work because this would raise eyebrow and they might not approve and i would be seen as a flight risk although, i have gotten a reference letter from them already which i think its enough not to raise suspicion.

I intend doing the below thus;

1, Get Pension account statement and reference letter.

2, Get a letter of attestation and that they are expecting me to resume after my studies from my dad's friends audit firm.

3, Majority of my family including my parents are here in Nigeria except my sister who is living in Dubai due to the nature of her job (air hostess)

Please what do you guys think, will any point above harm my applications and suggestions on more tips please?

Please contact the international admissions of the proposed institution in Canada as your application shouldn't take this long. Nonetheless, you should be aware that most of the staffs are currently working remotely which makes it difficult to facilitate the processing of admissions at this critical time. Keep faith and be hopeful that you will be granted an admission soon.

I would suggest you pause for a while in search for job offers until after the COVID-19 travel restrictions has been lifted and activities are back to normal.

No implications whatsoever. The recent changes made on your profile is NORMAL and a signal that your application is presently been worked upon by an immigration officer at the Visa Office in Nairobi. At this time, you can only hope for the best outcome on your application.

Note that my employer has given me a letter of introduction, and I think a qualification in Business Analytics as a banker will be seen by VO as upscaling my skill set.
Meanwhile are there affordable schools for Masters in Business Analytics or Financial Analytics that I can apply for now?

Please don't conceal any information from the immigration of Canada because you will continue with same data you've given to them for your study permit and in any of your future applications with IRCC. I would advise that you should declare your already attained master's degree and begin afresh by applying for a second master's degree than a Post Baccalaureate diploma program. Your visa application success is relatively slim with a PGD on file.


By the way, have you paid any deposit to the school in order to secure your seat in the program? Why are you finding it difficult to begin a fresh application by applying for a master's program? In the case of an introduction letter from your employer, this can always be issued at any given time, it shouldn't influence your resolution to put in a weak application.


As per your choice of program, I would appreciate if you search on google for schools that may be offering those shortlisted programs.

My Background Information
Just graduated recently(last year) from the university of Lagos with a B.SC in Finance with CGPA of 3.64. I have been denied visiting visa twice - that i wont return to home country. My sister is a Canadian Citizen, she is married with kids and is my sponsor. I have paid my one year tuition fee. I was wondering if I should use my other sister as a co-sponsor.
