Good evening guys. The system updated my profile to 3 years work experience on the 1st of september but in reality it should be by beginning of Dec. As a result, I got an ITA few days ago. Is it okay if I should go ahead and submit my application?

Sadly, you would have to decline the invitation. Would have suggested waiting till Dec when your work experience clicks 3 yrs but that would elapse past the 90 days deadline. Goodluck thi.

Please house, I have a quick question..
Will The passport photograph(50 x 70mm that you are required to submit while filling forms post ITA), be used as the photograph that will be on your Visa if granted? Or is it the passport photograph taken of you during Biometrics.

The one you submit online for your application, it’s the hard copy you will submit for PPR. They will also use the same passport on your PR card after landing.

Please house, help review... I got notification for biometrics today, but the section for biometrics has the following details.. I was once denied study visa in 2017.. so I guess that’s the details for the study visa. To my question, should I still book appointment with VAC ?.

Yes. You have to book another biometrics appointment. The one you did for your study visa is not eligible for your PR application.

Hello gurus and all, I greet the house. I am really not happy now guys, when I used the crs calculator on cic website my crs score appeared at 480, however I used 3years experience. Nysc, IT after my national diploma and post Nysc. However someone told me I cant use It experience to claim work experience. So when I recalculated, my score dropped to 468 which is very low. Guys is it really true I can't use post National diploma experience to claim work experience. Thanks for your response. I appreciate you all

If you were not paid during your IT, you can’t use it to claim work experience. Claimed work experience has to be paid employment

Hi guys,

Does it make sense to update one's profile with a qualification that is still being evaluated and result not out yet? If no, what are the pitfalls?

That means you would need to input a fake report number and you definitely can’t accept ITA with a fake evaluation number. So, just be patient.

Hello Prettiepearlz, my girlfriend wants to enrol for the ACCA exam, she is a chartered accountant. According to her this exempts her from foundation courses of ACCA (F1-F4), i am pretty much confused about what courses she should enrol for to qualify her for an additional certificate. As much as she wants it for the whole immigration process she also wants to be ACCA certified.

According to what I have read on a group I belong to. She can choose to write two out of the 3 foundation courses end forfeit the other exemptions to get her one year certificate. And I also recently read of someone who got exemption for the three foundation courses and Wes still evaluated it as one year equivalent.

Hello house, please help me with this question.

I have a friend who is a lecturer in a federal university. He has a master's degree in Chinese language and lectures Chinese language.

Please do you think he qualifies for the NOC 4011 which is for lecturers. This is because the details of this NOC seem to specify some subject of lecturing. The only language lecturer specified is French lecturer.

Please experienced people in the house please help me understand NOC 4011 as it concerns a Chinese language lecturer.

Thanks house.

Well I got exempted on one of the foundation courses, took the remaining two and WES evaluated as three (3) years equivalent. However, my babe took all three and she got a one year equivalent.

That particular NOC is suitable for those in the sciences. I don't think Canada would accept a Chinese lecturer because their official language is French and English.

By forfeiting the other exemptions do you mean forfeiting just one of the foundation courses and writing just 2 papers?. And to the other option about the one with 3 foundation courses exemptions what other courses did he/she write to qualify for 2 or more certificate.

Sorry for the follow up questions, I'm just trying to find the quickest and cheapest route for her

Yes. 4011 is for lecturers. Let him evaluate his Masters degree and take it from there

This is wrong information. Canada accepts anybody as long as you meet their criteria for immigration.

I don't think it's an issue that Chinese is not listed and French is listed under job titles. I believe those are illustrative examples and as we know the title is not important, the duties are. He is probably ok so long as his JD matches the lead statement AND main duties of 4011. I was going to suggest 4021 just to compare with the JD.

Please can you help me clarify this. My sister registered for ACCA and she did not opt for any exemption. But we checked her profile now and she has AB- Accountant in Business exempted. Will this not affect her evaluation with just two courses.

Will she still qualify for one year certificate with WES evaluation. Please help. That is the whole purpose of this ACCA thing oo

Kindly help.

Thank you so much. I just went through 4021 and it's more for colleges and language centers of which he does not have work experience for. I would rather he goes for the 4011 as it won't be a problem what he teaches. Thanks so much for your response.
