Xmuslim: you are right. The book influenced me a lot too during my undergraduate. But I later realised bigger problems in Islam that his boom cannot solve. I later left Islam.
I was influenced by many books and authors such as
- the mathematics miracle in Islam (especially the verse that says *over it are sixteen)
- bible Qur'an and science
- anatomy of the Qur'an (a rejoinder to JGO moshay by Yusuf mabera)
- Concept of God in major religion by Dr zakir naik
- Qur'an and modern science conflict or conciliation by Dr zakir naik.
- many books and videos by haruna yahya especially those that refute evolution.
I didn't leave Islam out of ignorance. I am a very sure that Islam is not the absolute truth but I admit it has benefit but also contains dangerous teachings
You were never sincere to your Deen.. And if I may ask, can you highlight few problem you identified and made you to leave??
Xmuslim: Proffesors Keith more never accepted Islam. The problem you guys have is validation of your religion. Even if he accepts Islam, does it fill the holes in Islamic narratives?
Praktikals: Why will any right thinking human being convert to Islam?
Read your comment again 3 times and ask yourself why on earth will any right thinking human question others on what they believe is the right thing for them.
I am from SW Nigeria and i have Muslims as cousins, friends abd neighbor and i can tell you that more than 60℅ of the he Alfas i have encountered searches the Bible and more than 40℅ of them possess The Holy Bible, and i have seen around 70℅ Muslims claim that the Holy is adulterated and not Divinely written unlike the Quran(some even say the Quran was written by God himself and droppes down) and 95℅ of Muslims said that they don't believe in Trinity ,Jesus Christ death , resurrection and his Messianic Gospel. Can a Muslim enlighten me why this is so?? Why You say a book is adulterated but a large chunk of the Alfas and members still read and possess it(When i mean a muslim i mean a Muslim who knows his Onions)
To the idiots saying nonsense. Let them bring their proofs against the Quran. Let them bring a book that matches it, the accuracy, the science, the magnificence. Brainless idiots.
Xmuslim: lol. Usual response from Muslims to xmuslims. I'm not surprised. I doubt you have 50% of the Islamic knowledge I have gathered before leaving. But again you are entitled to your opinion.
But let me ask you this based on the verse you quoted. Why should Allah guide whom he will and mislead whom he will. is that fair?
You are a liar. You can only deceive those engaging you. We know your type. Pretend to be them or once one of them and rubbish them, that’s your trade in craft
It all started from the bible.1 samuel 15:3 says kill infants, women, donkeys and the animals in Samalec. Mathew 10:34 says "do not think I've come to preach peace but I've come to preach sword" few amongst the terrorism acts in the bible.

Sorry to say this but u left Islam out of ignorance. U left because u compared Islamic teachings vs what the Muslims practise. In that regard, many pastors too are not following the teachings in the Bible. The so called dangerous teachings are products of wrong human interpretations while some are based on Arab cultures, traditions and what's trending at the period Islam was founded. Islam modified some laws being practised thousands of years ago so do Bible, that doesn't mean it teachings are useless today. U can still be a good Muslim if u had ignored the so called dangerous teachings. Even Christianity has got dangerous teachings. Nothing can never be perfect to humans, even the way of life and laws we enacted ourselves are not completely accepted by some of us. Are all the laws u use today based on the Christianity or atheism u accepted? Man is not perfect, so also nothing would be perfect in our eyes. The place, habit, religion u abandoned is what others took as the best for them. If the religion or way of life u practise now is not perfect. Then, it's not better than Islam. If you're looking for a perfect religion (the one u agree with all it teachings) u will die without a religion. If you're looking for a perfect friend (without faults), u will die without a friend, and if you're looking for a perfect life (without problems), u will die of depression. For it takes perfection to recognise perfection. The fact that u don't agree with some Islamic teachings, doesn't make the teachings wrong. Conformity and listening to what others say about ur religion or way of life, made u to convert to what u deemed to be generally acceptable. It's a test from God, bound to happen in the end of days. Many shall be tempted to abandon Islam. Blessed are those who passed the test. May Allah guide u! "But those who reject Faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of Faith, – never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray". Quran 3:90
Afiifii1: Quran- the book of science and signs, take it leave it, it remains valid and validate the yesterday, the today and the coming tommorow. No multiple versions, it contains no blasphemous statements. we read it, we memorize, we follow its deeds and abstain from its donts. it's unequivocally a sacred book on a par.
Jazakallahu khayra. They will become furious by reading your comment. The same way one of them is furious reading that renown scientists became Muslim. Whom Allah is guide, no one can misguide him and vice versal. I think this phrase applies to that guy "Xmuslim".

For someone like me who has English version of Quran, Bible and Jewish Torah, who has resided among Jews and Arabs in the middle East and GCC countries I think I can answer you

Professor Emeritus, Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University of Toronto.
He was amazed by the accuracy of the statements made in the Quran in the 7th century. Statements about embryology. Before anyone knew anything about it. These statements in the Quran could not be based on scientific knowledge of the time so it must have come from God.
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators.
Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected.
E. Marshall Johnson
Professor and Chairman of the Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology, and Director of the Daniel Baugh Institute, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
He also talked about embryology in the Quran. He said that Prophet Muhammad must have got this info from some source and that he has no issues that it came from God.
T.V.N. Persaud
Professor of Anatomy, and Professor of Paediatrics and Child Health, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
He said for a man to make such profound statements about science in the seventh century is amazing. He said it could not be mere chance.
Joe Leigh Simpson
Professor and Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA.
He said he sees no conflict between genetics and Islam. He said Islam could guide science. He said the knowledge in the Quran is from God.
Gerald C. Goeringer
Professor and Co-ordinator of Medical Embryology in the Department of Cell Biology, School of Medicine, Georgetown University, Washington DC, USA.
He said the Koran described human development and commingling of the gametes through organogenesis. He said nothing in history has seen such a feat besides current day science.
Alfred Kroner
Professor of the Department of Geosciences, University of Mainz, Germany.
He talked about the origin of the universe and how it would be impossible for a man like Prophet Muhammad to know about this from his own mind. He said science today proves what the prophet said 1400 years ago.
Yushidi Kusan
Director of the Tokyo Observatory, Tokyo, Japan.
He talks about astronomy and using telescopes. He said that the Quran has true facts about astronomy.
Professor Armstrong
Professor Armstrong works for NASA and is also Professor of Astronomy, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, USA.
He was amazed by what the Quran says about astronomy and how the ancient writing of the Quran agrees with modern science today.
William Hay
Professor of Oceanography, University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado, USA.
He was very interested how this information in the Quran could have this science in it and that it must be from God.
Durja Rao
Professor of Marine Geology teaching at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He said that the Quran could not be simple human knowledge and must be from a Supernatural Force.
Professor Siaveda
Professor of Marine Geology, Japan.
He said the Quran is almost unbelievable and a very remarkablebook.
Tejatat Tejasen
Chairman of the Department of Anatomy and is the former Dean of the faculty of Medicine, University of Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai, Thailand.
He said all the facts of science in the Quran can be scientifically proventoday.
Maurice Bucaille
Born in 1920, former chief of the Surgical Clinic, University of Paris, has for a long time deeply interested in the correspondences between the teachings of the Holy Scriptures and modern secular knowledge.
He said it is impossible to explain how a book produced at the time of prophet Muhammad could contain ideas that have only been discovered today. How could a man know these facts without the slightest of error
Xmuslim: well there are many holes. I mentioned some of them in my thread titled why I left Islam. Sadly a closed minded moderator delete the thread.
I can engage in a new thread but I need to ask you few questions before investing my time.
1. Are you intellectually honest to the point of accepting flaws in the Qur'an and hadith if you are presented with them. Or are you the type that has concluded that we need to blame our mind that's seeing the error instead of blaming the Islamic narratives that is flawed.
2. Are you open minded enough to see through clear evidence without prejudice.
3. Are you open enough (currently) to think there is possibility (however little) that Islam may not be from a divine origin
Your response to the above will determine whether we can have intellectual discussion or not. Thank you
Who are you to see errors in the Quran? Keep deceiving yourself and your soul.

It is very difficult for those muslims to break out of that blood-sucking bondage because the religion ruled out personal reasoning.
Why should the supposed god guide whom he wills and lead others astray? That's enough error to even leave the so-called islam.
mamaafrik: do you think you have answered the question??,re-read my comment, assimilate it and re-answer please.
.
Truly I try to be diplomatic in answering but you want the raw truth
First your statistics is wrong 60% 70% are all bullshit
Isrealis also never accepted trinity or new testament written by corrupt characters like Mathew the tax collector, the Bible was compiled by same Roman Empire that killed Yeshua.. how will Emperor Constantine be the one to Commission a book for Jewish religion? With connivance of Peter
Bible has 44 authors from all over middle East, some are Arabs, some Persians infact a part of the book of Psalms was written by a Syrian man from Damascus
Logically speaking.Islam still remain the best religion on the planet. The name Islam in itself implies PEACE and No religion on the planet Value Life like it does. Those are facts, its funny how people will rather judge the religion by the bad Muslim around them looking at the true followers like they don't count.
