Aubameyang on what he needs to do to be an Arsenal legend: "This is quite easy to answer but for sure we need to win the league, I still have work to do. I feel far from those legends but at the same time I know I can reach it."[@SkySportsNews]

Bring out facts and figures to back this ur claim of “our best playmaker” . Show me why his sale was wrong. I want to check something
I know Iwobi was good wen he broke through arsenal rank. He was very influential for us, cos I know him as one of arsenal player who hardly got dispossessed and his passes was good.
Tho he started regressing as the years went by...
One thing I know I hate about his play was his inability to score. He can't shoot a ball to save his life
Is arsenal wrong to sell him? No
Is he good at creating openings and chances? Yes

If aouar can be a better and scoring version of the iwobi I know, then I don't mind tbh!

Arsenal are already preparing a second bid for Houssem Aouar after Lyon rejected their opening gambit for the creative midfielder.

Club president Jean-Michel Aulas indicated earlier today that an offer of £32million (€35million) had been rejected but Arsenal will not be deterred. football.london understands the Gunners are ready to increase their offer to £36.5million (€40million) with a further £9million in potential add-ons (€10million).

Iwobi has declined since he left. The Arsenal Iwobi cannot be benched in Everton which is a fact many don't wanna hear.

38m bid rejected. Lyon wants 50.

Are we gonna get two of the two players we really need. Cos this cruise don taya me. Its one of the reasons I Dont relish anticipating any incoming transfers for Arsenal. Na heart attack mata.

And pls i say Arsenal recognize Arsenal Algeria Supporters Club officially. What of Nigeria? Does Nigeria have a officially recognized Arsenal Supporters club atall?

so you saying this

daveP:
Aouar is just an Iwobi that shoots at goal. That's my own opinion after watching him sincerely. They are very much similar in style of play. But as usual, no one would love to see it that way.
. Are you for Aouar or you're having a little doubt about him?. Esp with the bolded from the first quote.

Bad news for Arsenal and Sokratis below because he was due to join Napoli after the sale of koulibaly to Manchester City

More about Rubén Dias to Manchester City.
#MCFC and Benfica are negotiating on final details [add ons, Nicolas Otamendi personal terms...], final fee will be around €55m. Rubén already accepted his potential contract. ‘Here we go’ expected soon! @FabrizioRomano

They do have of course but their movement is dependent on the said suitors selling too to create vacancy for them.

And it's been bad news upon bad news now as Torino deal is off for Torreira just like Manchester City is trying to create one for sokratis now

No be so dem dey do am oo..
Na so we think say Pepe go give us at least 15goals a season in the league, but see??
We're just hopeful that they'll come, then improve us, then we'll see how we can go from there..

[s]Saying those 2 outrightly will make us contenders (wen we just finished 8th) is going overboard[/s]

there was a chelsea finished 8th and won the league the following season. leicester from championship to champions. so its very possible

we all knw arsenal problem is not scoring is it about defending have a rock like partey covering d defence would reduce goals we concide drastically

Pepe had a mixed season he will definately improve

Adding partey & aouar would make us contender you don't have to down play it

Oga ..Iwobi was our best playmaker. Ozil was inconsistent then and who else do we have?... Willock..Even in some match, Emery had to push Torrera forward.
Since Iwobi left, why do you think we struggle to create chances?
I'm not saying Iwobi is world class but his sale was wrong. Why?
1. Arsenal should have realized how much Ozil was declining then and the fact that there was no other playmaker.

2. What is the use of going for Aouar with Partey deal left hanging when Iwobi could have easily fill the void albeit free of charge? That Aouar fee could have been used for Partey deal.

We have thrashed that okpata yarns about "Ìwobi's sale being wrong" over and over here. You are talking about Ozil being inconsistent like say Ìwobi's best output is not just 6 assists in a season which is even a one-off undecided. If inconsistency was a drug I tell u, Iwobi was on overdose of it while at Arsenal. He was on the way to pulling a Walcott on us ; remaining as a potential till he is in his late 20's when to sell him for 10 million sef will be Herculean task.

I honestly don't know where you suddenly got this notion of Ìwobi being the best thing after slice bread o.

Here you are going overboard again. Chelsea was champions a season before they finished 10th in the league. So it's not as if the 10th wasn't a one-off.
Same as Leicester, that story happens once in a thousand years.

What we need is progress first(which is top 4), then we can look at winning the league. If we win the league this year then fine, but then, what we should be realistically looking out for is top4(with or without those 2). That's the logical thing to do.

And please, you can make your point without striking out my comment, I'll really appreciate that, Thanks!

Calm down Oga, If arsenal had used the proceed from his sale to replace him, it would have been understandable. An ambitious club will never sold Iwobi when there are no proper replacements. And please don'tmention Ozil and Willock. I'm not against his sale but considering other factors, HIS SALE WAS A WRONG MOVE.

From the bolded.....Which players? Ceballos and Aouar? grin
