Luckymama: Na statement like the above they make people no want to help or answer others. I have been here since 2015/2016. Abeg, I don charge anyone here? If I charge you, please provide evidence. Please watch you say on this thread because it reflects your personality and thoughts. If you think this is just an online platform, I can tell you that previous persons from here have helped me greatly. Someone from here paid one of my application fee without collecting the money back. Someone from nairaland came to pick me at the airport (That was the first time I met him). I also live with and became close friend with Another “older” folks from here. Let’s be cautious with the way we talk to one another. By the way, it is not a big deal to charge someone for time, although I don’t do it for this process. If you think it is not worth it, then do it yourself. This platform is for people that want to do it themselves. If you can’t read to do that, don’t be offended if someone else charge you for their time. My time is worth more than $40 per hour and I choose to give it out for free when I am available. Others may not have the freedom and capacity to do that. Rather than blame them, check yourself and your commitments. All the best. 20 Likes |

@Luckymama, I read your outbursts towards @FrankRobbn1 and initially ignored it as an emotional rant of someone facing something or her time of the month (no insult to women) but two hours after it occurred to me that if I didn't express my opinion on this thread it would be unfair to all those who have good intentions. I just started following this thread last year and one of the characters that stood out to me amongst many are @FrankRobbn1, @Lekibiboe @Osemigho @ConradAce and I learnt a lot from reading their advice not just to me, but other forum members. I have never been charged for any advice by anyone Like the saying goes, "Good people suffer when the just keep silent over an injustice". Your attacks of @FrankRobbn1 were overboard and unwarranted and an injustice. If it were the other way round, so called feminists would be spitting bile. Do not give what you cannot take. You need to formally apologize to him for no other reason but basic human decency. I learnt a lot from this forum from @FrankRobbn about GCMS notes, Webform, VAC, BIL, BVL, etc that I never knew of before coming here. You can express your opinion without casting aspersions to people's reputation without evidence. Have you considered, the ramifications of your outbursts on other well meaning members here who may decide to zone out and lock up to avoid this kind of attack? Especially from people with first hand experience. to @FrankRobbn1 and other well meaning "gurus" please take no offence but solace in the fact that technology is a blessing and a curse. The internet made it possible for this. If we were all still in the primitive paper application days, I doubt this forum would be available for us to learn or expose you all to this unwarranted attacks from internet empowered insolent characters. Continue with your kind deeds. Love and Light like the ICONS of Laycon would say 18 Likes |

Autotekpro: His parent is his best sponsor but All these documents does not show that the papa can afford it. Statement Inflow and outflow is good when the balance is good. He really said he will be the IT Director after 2 year diploma at age 19 with zero years of experience? What does that tell you about the dad’s company? If you own GTB, Glo, or First Bank, will you make such a profile an IT director? The other fact is that It takes a lot to be Zuckerberg, but Diploma is definitely not one of it because Zuckerberg does not have one. In sum, his statement of purpose is not realistic. A more realistic alternative is for him to transfer to a degree, complete the degree, and then return for NYSC and resume in his dad’s company at a higher IT, definitely not a director, position. I would allow others to address other issues. Take my advise gently, I am not a guru. All the best. 4 Likes |

Luckymama: I will appreciate it if you can show me evidence of any applicant on this thread I have recommended an immigration law firm and the commission you so claimed I gain from the law firm in Canada. In the event that you can't provide any verifiable evidence, then the moderator (justwise) should consider disconnecting you from sharing false accusations on this platform. Justwise take note please. It will end in praise. 5 Likes |

Good Evening Everyone, Please is it possible to open a Canadian bank account from Nigeria? There is no Nigerian domiciliary account that operates in CAD, and I urgently need a Canadian account. Is there any other means for transferring CAD from Canada to someone in Nigeria? I would appreciate your responses Thanks |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Frankrobbn1: 9:22pm On Sep 29, 2020 |
Tracy2020: No Nigerian bank operates in CAD. And you can't open a Canadian bank bank from Nigeria without a valid address in Canada and a Visa. Your best option is to open a domicilary account and transfer the funds in USD. It will end in praise 1 Like |

Frankrobbn1: Oga Frankrobbn I did not accuse you of anything. I said Maybe. The discussion you and I had was not in anyway insulting (even though you were slightly condescending in your response when you told me 1. I was hilarious for disputing that a student can easily recoup 4K dollars in a few months. 2. You also said I know nothing about how things work and you are going to educate me. 3. You also said I was disputing with you because I can’t afford the 4K for judicial review) Every other thing I have said here has been in response to your defenders who have trooped out to insult and berate me. They were quite insulting and in defending myself I may have gone overboard. I did not mean to accuse you or insult you. I am sorry for casting aspersions on your character but we all know there’s nothing new under the sun. But simply because you know you are held in high esteem here on this board I will plead that you endeavor to be a bit more circumspect in your claims. Some people read what you write and immediately act on it without question. It’s not fair to give advice that is not necessarily in their best interests. Once again I am sorry. Please overlook whatever I may have said to insult you. The tongue and teeth do quarrel but they must make up afterwards. It will end in praise. 14 Likes |

Luckymama: So because you are the type to eat and move on, you dont believe in people that dedicate their life to giving back? The first day I called Frank, he didnt even act weird about how I got his number. He replies my messages at night and early mornings. He calls me back when I give him missed calls. I have never met him and he has no reason whatsoever to give me audience. But this is who he is! So respect him for his personality. AIP have really turned you into something else. 5 Likes |

NwanyiOkpa: Is quite a pity they rejected your application, but I'm confident you will be approved if you address the issue of fund and reapply. Meanwhile you may go a bit further to share your full profile. Also assist with sample of "affidavit of good character). |

NwanyiOkpa: Gcms notes will shed more light. My refusal letter also mentioned finance while gcms notes was all about my employment and study gap. Regardless it will give you more light on how to go about it . For example you might need to transfer the living expenses from your sponsor to your personal account and explain it out. |

Luckymama: I have nothing against you @Luckymama, it's normal for any leader to face criticism and rejections from others. It has always been my desire to do everything with a good heart and expect nothing in return, with this I won't be disappointed. I wish you the very best in your application. Hoping to receive a positive outcome from you. As always, It will end in praise. 8 Likes |

Dear Nwanyiokpa, it is well. you will scale through eventually . please have your brother transfer the funds to you instead of using his entire bank statement . dear veterans , please accept my apologies on behalf of lucky mama. we are all prone to be out of order at some point in time or the other . however , everyone here including the veterans are leaning daily. we are ultimately responsible for the decisions we make with regards our visa applications irrespective of what advice we receive . Personally i can testify that Frank has helped me a whole lot severally. i dare say my application was very uncomplicated as i was totally self funded and already travel exempt. but i sought his advice severally. i did not always agree with his advice ooooh. so i filtered what i needed to hear and applied what i had in my heart to do and it worked for me. i was not lazy and waiting to be spoon fed as most of us on this platform are. trust me i did my own share of work. when frank said 2 pages sop in my mind i said okay and did my 6 pages properly. you have to own your application but be humble enough to ask for help. during the entire aip bruhaha, i kept quite because i was sure it was a great positive. i followed my heart and i have received a research assistant position from my professor . i am glad i did not defer as many people did during the aip the veterans keep this platform going 2 Likes |

Hello Luckymama, If you're apologizing tender it with remorse feeling not because you will be disconnected from the thread. Learn to talk when in the public domain because few people of such are here in Canada bring bad name to all Nigerians. Ensure you words pass through the three gates before you make your utterances. Frank let the sleeping dog lie. Na so bad people dey spoil people with good conscience that they'll not help those in need. I pray dis should be fulfilled in your life James 1v5 ----So if any one of you is lacking in wisdom, let him keep asking God,+ for he gives generously to all and without reproaching,*+ and it will be given him.
