What do you mean by designs for joining? You mentioned ramps and I just showed you all motorways/freeways/autobahns have ramps and overpases/underpasses. Speed limit is a govt priority. Has nothing to do with road design but the population of the area the road passes through. Nairobi to Thika is one contiguous urban area with high pop and the govt reviews the speed limit frequently depending on the need. The German autobahn has a speed limit of 130 kph, while Thika has a speed limit of 110 kph.

Tema Motorway has a speed limit of 100 kph, even less than Thika and German autobahns. Keep lying
