FacundoCruz: There will always be a time that consistency and stability will come in. Liverpool were like that too during klopps early days, blowing hot and cold, but there board backed him because of the potential they saw whenever they played well. Liverpool started becoming consistent in getting results in 2018, after like 2 seasons of hot and cold. This season will probably determine that and I strongly feels that Ole will do well considering the things he's had to learn for the past 1½ years. From the look of things so far, he's been learning from his mistakes and the way he's been approaching things, he doesn't look like someone that will repeat his mistakes twice. 1 Like |

airmark: You mean crack head Evra that is saying shit lately. Saying we don't need VDB. As if Man utd is Burnley that only play league games, hence no need for a big quality squad? For what it's worth, we didn't even play you guys the way we played Leipzig where we played low block defending against them. We where even more open against you guys, but you wouldn't know sha, because you have German Pius ikedia as striker running up and down like a headless chicken 6 Likes |

timay: Just 2-3 games o, don’t say he’s been learning from his mistakes abeg. What if his system is to bring on board new signings to ginger the team, and as soon as they blend with the team, we return to our normal self? Just a harmless question. I do hope he gets it right this time, I am tired of one step forward one step backward. |

timay:I was part of that argument and I remember saying that Nagelsmann is over achieving with the players he has...That was way before the game yesterday. I still think Nagelsmann is a better coach compared to Ole...The fact Ole is coach of Manchester United isn't down to his impressive resume but rather his status at the club... As I said yesterday, let us enjoy the victory and wish for improvements going forward...If the team starts playing badly again, some of us will still demand for more, it doesn't mean we hate Ole or the players but we just want better... As for that PSG line, a combined team of PSG and Manchester United should see us having more players in the team...Forget stellar names like Neymar and Mbappe...If in doubt, drop your supposed combine team. 6 Likes |

patrickmuf: For a young guy, Nagelsmann is an impressive coach, I'll also admit that. But his style of play of highline is very dangerous o. With a lot of defensively disciplined sides in the EPL who knows how to counter, they will conceed a lot of goals. If he can learn to be flexible and not grow to become a purist mindset like Pep, he'll go far. |

patrickmuf: I doubt that. They play against teams that press in the bundesliga regularly without problem. The likes of sabitzer, Nkunku and co are quality players, so that one nobi excuse They just had problem with the set up we used yesterday, they found it difficult to progress the ball to create chances, thus resulting to recycling possession. Funny enough, Ole must have seen Leipzig last league game against Hoffenheim , and adopted Hoffenheim strategy with little fine tuning to contain them. Even though they eventually beat Hoffenheim 2-1, but they found it difficult to break them down throughout the game. Those ones lost because they couldn't keep up their concentration level throughout the game. The key to Ole's win yesterday was Leipzig last match were he must have discovered that the team is useless against low block, hence the 4-4-2 2 Likes |

timay:Go and watch Leipzig vs PSG semi finals last season and you'll see that Leipzig undid themselves most times due to errors in their passing game which was clearly on show yesterday... The system Nagelsmann is deploying requires very technical players with stamina...It's not to knock down on his current players but no matter how you look at it, they're not the most technically gifted team around. They might get away when they're up against Buli teams but against the top guns in Europe who pick their moments, they'll struggle. 1 Like |

timay:Brilliant analysis, the recycling of possession is making some people believe Leipzig outplayed us and they only had 2 shots on targets with just one clear cut chance created. Some people sha like possession football with little or no end product. Energy drink didn't really threaten except with setpieces. |

GloryIsaac: So his social activism was not distracting him from playing good football again abi? Cos the claim then was that his poor form was due to him being socially responsible. Now it seems he was just being attacked for the phuck of it. You guys just plucked at the low hanging fruit and decided that since he was not making you happy on the field he should not be happy off it. What you are saying is that once a player is going through poor form he should withdraw from all non-football activities whether it is linked to his poor form or not. And that is ridiculous. The club that pays his salary was smart to know that not only were his off the field activities not responsible for his poor play but they also gave the club great PR. Fans should learn to keep their noses out of the personal lives of players as long as they are not carrying out activities that are illegal or that affect their on the field performance. Rashford’s life was not created to entertain you or make you happy. EOD 5 Likes |

eph12:I dont know about you, but for me, upgrading from Lingard - Prreira to VDB - Bruno is worth talking about. Afterall, we still occasionally talk about Jones even though that one doesn't play for us anymore. Having a sound coach is solving one part of the problem. Any team will always struggle if coach get sense but the players dey play rubbish. If Rashford came on yesterday and was doing his headless chicken runs or Bruno came on and was romancing the ball instead of playing Rashford through one time, we may not have won that match. The 2nd and 3rd goal that Rashford buried yesterday, he missed similar chances vs Sevilla. What changed? Because Ole switched formation? The only person we can make a case for that a change in formation has helped is Pogba. The players have simply stepped it up a notch since that 6-1 loss to Spurs. We'll wait to see if they can maintain it and remain consistent. Plus it definitely imbibes confidence looking at the bench and not seeing the likes of Lingard, Pereira, James and Williams as the mainstay of the squad. 2 Likes |

GloryIsaac: First statement was wrong. People blamed social activism. Saying it was the reason for his poor form and he was not focused. Rashford who is practically the most focused player in the whole squad alongside maybe Bruno, McTom. Second statement is like saying because a banker or teacher is temporarily struggling at his place of work he should not help out in church or at the motherless home again even though it has nothing to do with his struggles. After all he is not being paid to help orphans would be your argument. Makes no sense. Third statement is very close to bullying and comes of as self entitled. No matter how much a player is paid he has a right to live his own life the way he deems it fit and he has a right to do the things that makes him happy. A player does not lose the right to being happy just because he is not satisfying YOUR expectations on the field. 1 Like |
