No.
Most of them think all they need to bring into a relationship is the vagina.
As long as they have a vagina, then to them, they are the richest women in Babylon.

A large number of ladies see any contact with a rich guy as a poverty alleviation program. They channel all their energy there, even feigning a perfect choice.

Majority of ladies within my circle are independent women who help their respective spouse mutually in their relationships.

So that assertions might not be entirely correct.

The man is supposed to be the key provider in African context and even in early western bt obviously times have changed bt Africa is lagging behind in this mentality shift.

That said i don’t know why everybody is all up about money in a relationship than about good attitude. There are many rich and independent gals I wudnt date and also Broke ones I wudnt date. It’s more about character I think sha.

This is so true, most ladies see relationship as a means for livelihood failing to know that relationship shouldn’t be a one person thing since relationship come to be with an agreement between the two parties...

I do, some do, majority don’t and that is the reality.

I remember seeing an Uber driver having an altercation with a lady, the number of times I have seen that is alarming. If you can’t afford an Uber ride, you have no business being in one every time and telling the driver to increase AC. They get to their destinations and start calling the guy. That one sef will na take forever to come out. Pride cannot allow me do that o.

I can never forget this guy I met longtime ago. The relationship died at the talking stage. Cost of seeing was too heavy on my pockets. Not like I couldn’t pull through it, but I didn’t see a need to spend all that for prick. I knew I was too broke for that particular one. We just let ourselves be...

Hope they don’t come for you.

It’s the culture in this part of the world. Man hustles, woman spends the proceeds of his hustle. Relationship na commodity.

She asked me for an urgent 2k, I declined not because I don't have it but because she feels she's entitled to it. Next thing I heard was, 'be there forming fine guy, don't you know I'm a woman and you should be giving, don't go and make money'. I just drew close to her and whispered, this mentality will land you in Shiloh. Bye

Never!!!

Bitches always have this idea that they are already complete coming into a relationship.

Any other thing that must be added must come from the man's side.

It's such a shame that a majority of niggaz even support this idea subconsciously.

So a friend of Mine posted the above question on his status which i responded to affirmatively. He sent a voice note in response arguing that Most ladies don't. At first i argued profusely, maintaining my stance but along the line I got to see things from his Perspective. One question which threw me off balance was "If you are right Dee, why are ladies always in need of URGENT 2k?" Lol.... While trying to find the right answer to that, another came. Why do Ladies hardly celebrate their Men? , then another : Why are most women dependent? Why do they see relationship as a source of livelihood?. After the long chat I asked myself his initial question , Do women ever consider themselves too broke for a relationship?

"Relationship should be between two people with an agreement to do things MUTUALLY." he said. Everything in a relationship should be reciprocated. Financial expenses in relationship shouldn't be on a person. Relationship becomes sweeter when your partner (the lady precisely) can afford to surprise you, relieve you and be there for you"

Honestly, dude is right. Women hardly ever consider their financial capability before agreeing to date. The average Nigerian lady sees relationship as a Charity home, in her mind all she needs is good face, nice body. She believes she should be taken care of, unfortunately this mentality of hers does more harm to her than good.

Every woman wishes to be treated like Queen but do not know How to be a Queen. When the lady vith no value but with the dreams of a queen gets what she deserves, she starts jumping from pole to pole screaming "Men are Scum" little does she know that she gets what she could offer.

Be a Woman of value and you will never be replaced, Queen attracts Kings!...

Ladies in Nairaland and Nigeria are scumbags, see how they refused commenting on this topic. But if they lost some stuffs that's shitty like them, they smell everywhere with foolish comments

Imagine.... You no get money to pay Uber, come still dey ask make driver increase AC grin. Is that not madness?
It's the desperate sex starved guy I blame! If guys increase their standards most ladies will change but then konji won't let our brothers reason the right way.

I've once back out of what would have been a relationship, guy was too high in all areas. I settled for friendship and I enjoyed him more, learnt from him more and got more exposed. It's not about having low self esteem, it's setting priorities right, I for one, will never be in a relationship where I will keep struggling to meet up or avoid feeling like he's doing me a favor.

Oh some are, especially in LDRs. Imagine being in Lagos and your partner is in Abuja or PH. Every time you want to see them, you have to budget 60k for flight alone. Isn’t that an expensive prick/pussy?

Would a man want to be in a relationship where the lady takes care of all her needs?
How would a man feel when his woman never needs him for anything?
Can a man be comfortable in that kind of relationship?

Lastnight i even carried two young sexy ass bitches Who massaged me and treated me right...made my fantasy of 3Some come true and i just paid 5k each...thats 10k which when i give my woman will be complaining is too small

So sad the kind of ladies y'all attract.

Lotta women out here grounding for themselves, so many.

Why haven't you found yourself a decent one who believes in being dependent, who works and also sorts the bill whether she is made, hustling or almost there?

There is a diff between a leech and those who are also trying to make ends meet.

Why are u attracting leeches?

How would a man feel when his woman never needs him for anything?

It gives the lady an air of confidence. Believe it or not, a woman whom the man knows that she can take care of herself is revered and respected more by the man.

If a lady can take care of her needs, she will be confident in herself and classy in her personality. It's just natural. I don't respect leeches that much to be honest. I treat them anyhow and if they walk, I move to the next one. Even if you don't have, there's a way you package yourself, and your guy will be giving you at his discretion or when it's important. Once you have a mindset of 'I'm the girl here', my dear people like me won't even tell you. We will just zero our mind, target the fish, chop it, and chill for you to walk
