Please I have a question about POF pls o don't leave me @ednut1 @abnot @kekeerun @mmamaroon and other PPR waiters. My father wants to deposit lump sum into the joint account I have with my husband and that's the account we intend using for POF. The fund is actually coming from my cousin to my dad so as to do a gift deed. My question are: (1) does my dad need to print his own statement of account and submit alongside gift deed or just the gift deed is okay? (2) My husband wants to move his personal savings in his account to our joint account. After writing loe to say that he moved his personal savings, does he also need to show his SOA? Pls help, I have read page 1 and this question is personal. |

You guys are doing an amazing job on this thread. Please pardon my newbie questions. Someone directed me to use this thread for DIY rather than using an agent. I’ll appreciate if anyone can help me clarify this. I haven’t started anything yet. Let’s just say I’m in level 0 I and my husband with two kids want to apply to stay in Canada. My husband has a Bsc but I do not. I have a fair knowledge of French, very good in English, and I’m pretty sure I can write and pass the TEF and IELTS well but I can’t be the primary applicant. 1. If my husband is the primary applicant since he is the one with the higher qualification, will my writing those exams and passing it affect his score? 2. Where can I find information on the kind of skills that are in demand in Canada? I checked the website but I got even more confused. My head is hot from reading |

Hello house, good day everyone! Please can I count my one year IT as working experience after my Nations Diploma. It was a full time job and was up to one year. Thanks all |

elmoduddah: If your husband is the principal applicant, you can only add one language test as the dependent spouse (either IELTS or TEF). And the maximum point you can add is 20. Provinces have different labour market needs and different occupations/skills in demand. Ontario maybe looking for Financial Analysts/Computer programmers to bridge their skills gap while Alberta maybe looking for Engineers. Google the different provinces and you’ll see the occupation/skills they are looking for |

[quote author=MayorOfEdmonton post=96248296]hi Prof, is it the whole POF that the shares sales cover? or part of it? in any case, highlighting the money received from the shares sale on the SOA is good idea...in addition to this, an LOE explaining this sale and(if applicable) other source of the POF (e.g PERSONAL SAVINGS) and attach shares sale certificate(same way folks who sold land/car attach bill of sale) if available u should be fine. Cheers #MyOpinion Thks But I didn't highlight anything so if I attach the share sale statement + six months SOA + Generic Reference Letter to IRCC from my bank be sufficient proof? |

I am on the FSW aplication with AOR March 2019. Eligibility has been passed from my last GCMS; the pending items were criminality and security, while medical expired some months. However I noticed today that a ghost updated my profile . The message was *"Latest update: Review of medical results- November 20, 2020 "you have passed medical exam"* Seniors in the house: what does this mean please? What should I expect? Thanks |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 10 by phabulous88(m): 7:52pm On Nov 20, 2020 |
elmoduddah: That’s good. If you and your partner should max out IELTS by scoring 8777 (LRWS), his score will be around 393 as the principal applicant. However, if your partner should decide to learn French (I’m sure you can teach him) and he max out the TEF, his score will increase to about 465, which increase his chances of receiving an ITA, or even getting a provincial nomination. So I’ll advise you both start preparing for IELTS and TEF. You can play around the CRS tool here - https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp |
