Hello guys, please I need your help

I got an ADR yesterday requesting for another PCC and Schedule A. Is this normal?

The last gcms I got in June showed eligibility passed while security and background check not started. And yes, Accra.

Should I be worried

Hello. Pls I think I used a wrong NOC while filling out my application. Is there a way to resolve this post-ITA? The NOCs are quite similar though.
I may be wrong but I think what you submit Post-ITA is all that matters. You can change your NOC so far what you are changing it to is under the NOC 0 A or B. Not sure you need a LOE as that would give unnecessary attention to your application. I have a friend in a similar situation and she was advised not to add LOE. You can wait to read from two or more people before taking a decision. All the best.

The VO will not know that a person's duties includes taking phone calls, responding to emails and welcoming visitors if it is not listed in their JD.

Regarding having duties in the JD that are not in the NOC, I suspect this isn't an issue if they are few e.g. 1 or 2 but if they are many, is it possible the VO may wonder if another NOC is better suited than the one the applicant chose? Perhaps.

Please, these are just my views, I am not a VO, just a fellow applicant.

Good luck!

Thank you very much.

Please there is one more thing I need your help for. Since I was moved from one contract company to another, I need two ref letter to cover the period.
My questions are;

1. Can I submit the same JD for the two companies? (Ideally I performed the same role all through, but I expect that two different companies cannot type the same JD. Otherwise they will know I prepared it for them) What is your take?

2. should I put a clause that I was seconded to Company A in both ref letter to show a synergy. And probably have a LOE to explain the situation,(how my company moves us to different contractors) while maintaining same JDs for the two letter.

3. Since we are contract staff, should I use contract staff or full time/ permanent employment ?

4.

Hello House,

Help a sister of mine who is studying Nursing in Europe to do internship in Canada

Is there anyone here that can give some informations, tips or even ideas on how to get internship as a student Nurse from one of the European countries in Canada?
Thanks

Hello Gokoyer1401,

She may want to check if the Europe country she's currently studying has a partnership agreement Canada. If so, she may want to consider the IEC route under the International co-op/internship. She must be a legal residence and have a valid documentation.

Another option is to check with her school to see if they have affiliation to some schools or health facility centres in Canada or maybe an exchange program. The best way for her to begin is reaching out to her department.

If you need further guidance, quote me on the student thread.

Thank you. I just checked. The next available date is 7th December and I already have a flight booked for that day.

I checked a couple of times few hours after this post and I got Dec 3 as well, just as @Debbieeeeeee said. I was much interested in the post because at the time I saw it, I was in the IOM's premise, frantically looking for how I could get our medicals over with so we can travel back to base. Unfortunately, I signed out on behalf of my family at about 6:30pm. The traffic at IOM was something else and our case wasn't helped by arriving there at past 1pm. Had to return to my host's place...

It's now almost 14hours both of you posted and I have tried the link again, thrice now, and Friday 4th is still very much available.

Hello,

Has anyone received PR after March 2019 and was able to land successfully in Canada. Theres a form attached to COPR that says people should not land till restrictions are lifted.

Has anyone experienced this?

Hi. Thanks but those times are not available and that's why they're not highlighted. If you went ahead to click on any of them, you would get a prompt saying the selected time slot isn't available. As of now the next available date is 11am for 7th Dec and that's not convenient for me. I've just decided to come back to lag to make my qlife booking. Thanks tho.

Many thanks for your response. Was thinking of ways to improve my score, thankfully got an ITA in the recent draw.
Seeing as the NOC is not acceptable, do i need to submit a reference letter for it when applying?

Congratulations on your ITA.
What other experience or NOC did you claim points for ? And how many years in total ?

I don't think you should take any exemption. Just write BA1 to BA4. Each paper costs £70 while registration is £77.

May favor locate you on time even when you are not expecting it so soon. Thanks

Hi guys, so I recently passed my ACCA exams F1-F3. The journey of 2 or more certificates has officially come to an end. I Self Studied for 2 months With ACCA Approved Textbooks and workbooks and they helped a whole lot. If you're in Lagos, PM me and I can give you the textbooks/workbooks for a token (I bought them and they were quite expensive). Let me know.

Hi, Please I need help on something. How did you register for your ACCA exam. BC has not been helpful this time. My sister did a draft for her exam, she went to the office and was told they are no more receiving draft payment, that it is now online transfer. She made transfer and sent completed form to BC with proof of payment. It is over 3 days and no feedback from BC. They are not picking calls as well.
It is so annoying

is it normal? exam schedule is next week, is that how they behave. Please any infor or help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

By the way, I see a lot of people mentioning ACCA here. If you want to make any enquiry or have any complaint or issue and need to contact the ACCA Nigeria office, kindly let me know and I’ll ensure you are sorted out.
My own little way of helping on the thread

Can you help with exam registration. No response from BC for over 4 days now. payment confirmation already sent and form completed. It is really annoying. It is F2 and F3 CBE exam, BC handles the exam.

You can take a screenshot of your WhatsApp conversations (take it in the way that the dates can show)
If you both share emails every now and then, you can take a screenshot and submit too.
Also add wedding pictures too.

At what rate pls?
Its a dollar card. You use it and settle the bank 30% of amount spent after 6 weeks. More like a way to spread repayment over a period of time

Hi experts. Is it sensible to change dollars now for POF or wait awhile? The current rates are scary.

Hello all. Pls can a secondary applicant’s parent give deed of gift ?

If yes, is the deed going to be addressed to the primary applicant ? And can the fund be transferred into the family joint account or the primary applicant’s account? Thank you.

Hello all. Pls can a secondary applicant’s parent give deed of gift ? Absolutely

If yes, is the deed going to be addressed to the primary applicant ? Yes .
It can also be gifted directly to you. And deposited into the family's joint account, you would be required to do a letter stating that your spouse has equal access to all the funds in the joint account.
And can the fund be transferred into the family joint account or the primary applicant’s account? Thank you.

If you have a dollar account, you can leave / deposit the money into your dollar account and present that as POF

I initially planned to change mine but after calculating, when I change to USD the amount goes below the required POF.
Of course my estimate of POF is based on office ngn to cad rates but I still added extra on top, even at that when I change to USD it's almost 700cad below the required. I found it baffling but I guess that's what happens when official and black market rates are so far apart.

I'm not sure whether or not it's the right decision but I've decided to keep it in naira for now
