What analogy are you trying to draw from here. You are using the benefit of hindsight to seem all-knowing. If he played CHO today, do you expect CHO to play again Villa as well? So what happens when CHO doesn't play against Villa for rotation sake, and then we have another sub-performance? You will come again and say CHO should have been started?

Playing Werner as a winger when Cho a proper winger was available is rubbish -and no, this isnt the first time he's doing it. U would have to be clueless to think Timo would perform better than on the wings

Starting James - Azpi should hhave been given the nod for this

Subs - I would have taken off Abraham instead of Werner. And please dont come up with that Goal rubbish he scored, Watching his movement as a 9 gives me headache, Terrible movement, always staggering and poor first touch.

Persisting with Mount - Well the less said, the better. He should keep up with the favoritism. What most people dont realise is the massive opportunity cost playing Mount does to the team

Positive today for me was CHO - At least he was taking the defenders on and drawing space for others. Lampard should quit the Werner winger rubbish

I think I have come to terms that lampard is below average. we will always be in the cycle of mediocrity, lose two, win one and draw one then fight for champions league spot which will be won a match or two towards the end of season then get knocked out in second round in champions league.
Every fan watching knows werner is not a winger but lampard does not. The worst is playing pulisic on the right side and Werner on the left . He completed his foolishness with putting jorginho as in jorginho, for f.uck sake we were loosing what was jorginho coming to do. He should be sacked so we can salvage the season and try to qualify for champions league early

First half was our poorest performance under Lampard on par with Sheffield Utd last year

The Arsenal we expected is not what we saw as they got rid of the static Willian for the fast and furious pressing of Smith-Rowe and Martinelli. They also released Tierney from the back 3 to add another attacking option. I think the team were taken aback by this, having banked an easy game in their minds.

That said, we were unlucky to concede foolishly from set-pieces from individual mistakes from two of our usually reliable players (James and Kante) and once that happens, you have to chase the game, leaving yourself open to counterattacks. Arsenal also expended a full season of luck on us with the fluke from Saka.

A poor result, but I'm not reading too much into it.

At start of season, I said Chelsea do not have a satisfactory striker and must go for Cavani but was told we already have 3, all of whom have glaring deficiencies in one aspect or the other.

Anyway, these sort of results happen. Let's keep the faith for now. The top of the table is cramped and one win or lose can take you anywhere from 2nd to 8th.
