Government too got their tactics wrong. They should have used persuasion and robust awareness rather than locking down and brute enforcement. Not everything is force, force, force.

If you do a survey, you will realised that 6-7 out of 10 either don't believe there is Covid-19 or just don't care about it because there's hunger virus already in the country. This is why persuasion would have been the best option.

FYI, I did my NIN registration in 2013 and got my ID card years later.

The government has been begging people to go and register for over 10 years now.

We know when to blame the northerners, but it's definitely not in this case.
