Lol I read some conservative response to AOC's fund raising and I couldn't help but laugh, people whose senator ran away are trying to talk her down

You intentionally forget that the country has an high unemployment rate right now and not everyone can afford alternative housing and repairs for there destroyed properties. Read the statement below, in response to governor abbot (texas governor) begging for federal aid. No one is an island, if you think aid is wrong you think Texans don't want it, I am sorry for you.

I hope you didn't go to a federal school here in Nigeria, or use public hospital once in your life

because it's a form of aid.

I am damn sure you used both of the above, so just shut up.

So, making this a Texas thing is evil, trying to score cheap political point and utterly irrelevant to the rigging that was perpetrated by the demonRats in Nov 2020 election to bring in:

edi287, all na cheap political score point that bear no semblance on the reality of what's playing out on the ground - all over the country. You are too smart to fall for stuff like this. Quit already!

Based on the forecasts, AOC better spend all that "stolen" money to take care of herself first (in freezing New York), before heading to Texas - in the cold. Oponu oloshi.

That's how Biden's used taxpayers money that would have been better spent on the economy to fund overseas abortion, I never saw any leftist holding him accountable, I know why they are already used to killing unborn babies, since they are mere useless disposable zygotes or embryo with no intrinsic value

American conservatives are most stupid people on earth right now, how can a bunch of people be pathetic, everything they accuse others is what they are.

They are always first to set tone for mockery and disunity but cry when tables are turned, if Trump was president and California had this crisis, he would have used his Twitter to mock them daily.

Supposed people of God have no empathy but wickedness in them

Don't mind the comedians. They think we are kids. Always trying to act like the "reasonable ones in the room" when it's very easy to dig up their hypocrisy.
Look how they are gleefully talking about Cuomo(who by the way Dems are pissed off at) yet keep quiet when Trump and his red state goons were suppressing the covid death toll too.

I think it will be nice to separate things that are within government control from those that are not.

Wildfires in California and now freezing cold in Texas are strictly speaking, not within government control - to a very large extent. Same with tornadoes and hurricanes. If we agree on that, then, clear.

Now, lets go back to what smart Ted Cruz said in one the tweets you shared.

"California is now unable to perform basic functions of civilization, like having reliable electricity" - now notice that he said this right in the thick of the summer - Aug 2020, when all that's needed to provide comfort for everyone is doable and available, unlike extreme cold, tornadoes, and hurricanes.

If California governor Newsom could not do that at the time, should someone not call him to order like Cruz did at the time? Isn't it glaring to all that the man - Newsom, was mismanaging the fortunes of the state, probably using it for irrelevant and selfish things like feeding and taking care of thousands of illegal aliens in Sanctuary cities, so they can vote for him during the elections?

I await your response.

Gofund me needed for people like Ono to contribute and help pay bills in Texas since he feels everything is political.

God bless AOC for her selfless service in helping out in Texas since their elected officials don't give a Bleep. Incompetent lots.

I’m referring to his 2020 California power tweet. We know he’s apologised for his Cancun trip - even though it’s not within his powers to do much as a Senator. Not sure why AOC and her minions are after the guy.. .if not for cheap political gains.

Biden approves Texas disaster declaration

https://www.foxnews.com/us/live-updates-texas-storm-2-20-21

President Joe Biden announced Saturday that he had declared a major disaster in Texas and ordered federal assistance to aid in local and state recovery efforts as millions of residents suffer the effect of severe winter storms.

The action makes federal funding available to affected individuals in 77 different counties and includes grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-cost loans to cover uninsured property losses, and other programs.
