Yes there’s a job market. It’s a big one because Software compares need UXDs or interactive Designers.

But getting a part time job to meet your 20 hours may not be easy, however it’s doable. An easy way to build your portfolio is to freelance on fiverr. My worry is how you’ll declare your work hours to hmrc which is why working as a freelancer while a student is messy.

Yea, you may be able to get a job. You can only work for 20 hours per week. If you get a job that pays £20 per hour, that is £400 per week. Take off 20% as tax and NI payments.

I don't think you understand the context of the question. I think that person is asking about the legalities involved. Prior to now, the government considered Uber drivers as being self employed hence a Tier 4 student could not work as an Uber driver. Now the Supreme has ruled Uber drivers be considered as employees, not self employed. Question is does this carry over into the immigration perspective as well?
Personally i doubt the government can have double standards on the same matter but who knows.

You are able to work, yes.
It is for you to determine whether you think the current economic situation in the UK with the Covid recession, the associated unemployment and all and the possible earnings from only 20 hours a week employment will be conducive to the aim of paying the balance of your fees.

Yeah. All that's needed is the birth certificate. You just go to gov.uk and apply for Visa . With the lockdown, getting an appointment may take a while and even a longer one to receive the card. But once you've applied and paid irrespective of when you get an appointment, the child is entitled to a free health care.

Credit score is there to prove that you can borrow money and pay back. No matter how much funds of your own you have, if you don't take on debt no matter how little, your credit rating will not rise as there is no record/history from lenders on your ability to owe and pay back.

There are several websites and apps such as clearscore, credit karma that can help you keep an eye on your credit score they also give you free advice on how to build it and what not to do. It takes time, a year does not provide enough financial snapshort.

If you noticed I said “some” councils, when I commented about the electoral roll. In my previous council, I added myself to the electoral roll but wasn’t yet on the council tax. In this new council that I live in, they didn’t add me to the electoral roll yet, until it went through the council for confirmation that I live in my house. Ergo, if i hadn’t told the council that I lived here (CTax), they may have bounced my electoral roll application. The message I got after applying for the ER, was that my council would confirm to me if I’ve been added or not.

That being said, for people on spousal visas, they may need to add the two names to the CTax, not just for having joint bills, but because CTax gets requested for when applying for FLR (I’ll confirm how they asked for the doc).

Not anymore. My sister had like a year on hers and applied for a new one to allow her travel. They perforate the old one, so it doesn’t matter to them if it’s still valid for a year or more.
