Blyzz: I can't agree less with on the high cost of products though I won't take side for Dangote but good number of factors might play out of which I will say high cost of products is just the reason he is a capitalist (our government liberalising the system, my main reason not being in full support of outright privatization of the system), another play out here might be cost of production, also exchange rate and landing cost of equipment and raw materials. for all aforementioned the government isn't helping in any way to alleviate the pain of its citizenry. if you've being following trend, you will notice the government always tightening up anything that will bring succor and happiness to citizens. we need more competition in the system to break Dangotes monopoly which I don't really see as monopoly because we have other competitors who only wait (order than being a competitor), seizes Dangote move to inflate price of their commodities. still we don't have to support the west to destroy the few successful ones we have, never should it happen to us, we can handle our own case ourselves. their impact and devastating effects on the arab spring can't eroded so soon at usa should mind their business. 1 Like |

chamboy: You see why most of you are not bright in reasoning. The same China that had trade surplus with US for years. So when US takes actions to protect there economy it becomes a crime. Most of you reason like kids who lack basic elementary education. |

darkwan:Protecting a company is not by giving it a monopoly over a product, that is just govt using power to favour one out of many. The consumer is d one at a disadvantage at d end of d day. And it doesn't add much to ur economy cus other investors il not come if there is no level playing field. |
