ogajim: Calling me names won't do any good. Just take to my points. ogajim: You can't, you are only encouraged to get such details from their website and stop disturbing busy staff. ogajim: Yes, because Vanguard reported it and finally it's happening. You don't visit home often. I think you need to visit home more often now to understand the spirit of our people. I read Vanguard, Sunnewsonline, Huhuonline everyday and get the goings on in town and I'm often around to feel what's happening also. Our people are full of this kind of politics. I mentioned Savanna bank just as example and you never answered to it. Do you always like tangential argument? Do you know that Nuhu Ribadu went on exile when he was being pursued by the police and Fed Govt? The same Ribadu is now found sinless by the same police and Fed Govt. Our people have inordinate desires and have the queerest ways of satisfying them. ogajim: You made some funny contradiction here. US is a large as a continent. Accepted. Banks are mostly community banks and not National banks. Accepted again. But you mixed it up a little here:> Nigeria is like a state in US and therefore the banks that failed in Nigeria are like community banks because they don't have representation in the entire Africa. Compared to the balance sheet of the failed US banks our Naija banks were like baby banks and not up to community banks. And don't forget that those US banks failed from the loans they gave out to customers while these Naija banks have not really failed but have over-burdening bad debts. Nigeria is good my brother, though the quality of leadership has not been impressive. But all countries pass through this phase anyhow. Holla! |

Beaf: My people are a people good heart . So basically you're offering the reason our National Assembly also offered for their physical fight in chamber? That after all it happened in Japan and other parts of the world. But does that make it right? Changing from one form of currency to another to me is not a sign of good health but of decadence in another way. Zim's inflation was more than 2,000,000% two years ago and today it's 5.3%, don't you find that questionable? It defies all economic theory from Adam Smith till date. Let Mugabe get out and allow people who know what they're doing rearrange the country. Holla! |

nopuqeater: You are allowed the liberty to say whatever you may. But if you say I inherit sin according to the Bible, then I'd say either you have a corrupt copy of the Bible or you're mixing Catholic doctrine with Christian Scriptures. As for you being a Muslim who's free to pray to Allah without beads, I grant you that but do you also have inspiration from your Allah to write contents in Qur'an or to have revelations about taking your son's wife? I'm very careful with words and such word as hooker can hardly be found in my vocabulary. It's nice to hear from you and know you're alive and kicking. ogajim: You make too many mistakes at once. Savanna bank was taken over by CBN and for many years the legal battle raged. In the end it was found that CBN played politics with Savanna bank. Do you know that Vanguard newspaper reported 2 months before the sack of Akingbola & co that there was a plot to take over 5 top banks in Nigeria? As for the 140 US banks you picked out from my post above, I want to ask if you didn't see any other thing in my writing there except the figure? To give you full and final detail I have to make you a research student so that you don't argue what you don't know next time. Instead of giving you direct FDIC url to the full list of failed banks I'll let you get it by yourself, go here if you may: http://fdic.gov/ Enjoy and come back with more comments. Concerning Akingbola's resignation from the pastorate of RCCG I think he should be commended. He didn't want to get the church mixed up with his ordeal. If he sinned, then he sinned alone without the church and if he is innocent it won't be said that the church pressed buttons for their member. I'm not a member of RCCG and don't plan to become one, but I see a lot of good in what he did. Holla! |
Religion / Re: Evidence Of The Spirit? - Energy Balance & Thermodynamics by precap2(m): 8:30am On Jul 27, 2010 |
Deep Sight: I don't think so. Energy transformation has nothing to do with reincarnation theory. Rather "incarnation' has to do with the energy in the food we eat. We eat, then the food pass thru several transformations and mixing with already present energy in our body a new kind of energy is formed out of the composition of previous potential forms. When the new potential forms are produced (Sperm and Ovum), then if unused in women they are washed away monthly to contribute to further energy reproduction, and also that of the men are discharged in some other manner that would still contribute to the composite uni-verse. wirinet: In the case of a light bulb, when its put out it quits using the electrical energy generated and thereby energy is conserved from lack of use but not destroyed. And for candle light, the naked fire use the energy in the wax to produce heat energy, when put out the energy is then conserved in the wax until next use. Holla! |

Religion / Re: Is Rccg And Pastor Adeboye Obliged To Return Akingbola Looted Offering? by precap2(m): 4:59pm On Jul 26, 2010 |
There are serious errors in this thread. 1. Akingbola did not steal public money, he gave out loans to corporation in need of it and those debts went bad. It happens all over the world. 140 banks have failed in USA this year alone from bad debt. 2. It's not the duty of the pastor to ask Akingbola if the money he gave to church is stolen. Akingbola already has money to own a bank so it does not follow that a gift he gave to church could have been from illegal deal of any sort. 3. Christ did not receive any gift from Zachaeus as someone above rightly said, but Zach also never offered any gift. Ok? Zach is a notorious tax master who repented before the Master and promised to return whatever he took illegally, Jesus didn't force him to confess and return it. 4. Seeing that Muslims are also here to sling mud all over the place, I'll ask them one thing, IBB and the likes stole Naija money and built mosques, have Muslims abandoned those mosques for them? 5. Dangote owes more money to these banks than any other living human being in Nigeria (with a total debt of almost N200 billion), would the Imam or the Muslim community ask him to pay his debt before making any donation in the course of Islamic propagation? Let's ask reason. Holla! |
Religion / Re: Evidence Of The Spirit? - Energy Balance & Thermodynamics by precap2(m): 4:31pm On Jul 26, 2010 |
Energy cannot be created. It only goes through several modification and never had an original state. What it serves at any time determines its state at the time. Even the putrefaction of the dead rat will add to the dynamics as certain other forces or organism absorb the dormant energy in the rat. But can energy be created? I think no. It can only be appropriated as every energy requirement for the optimal performance of the universe is already present. This is technical somewhat so I don't wanna go OP at all. Holla! |

Family / Re: My Wedding Was Stoped By My Husband Because Of His Friend's Death by precap2(m): 2:39pm On Jul 26, 2010 |
Ujujoan: The guy was never going to cancel the wedding and never did. The gal did because of her insensitivity. And I think it's with many ladies to never have patience but always push their men to do things immediately without consideration. The guy could have been considering the best way to proceed with the marriage. He had already spent his money (according to the gal herself), he invited people, he was very ready to make the gal proud though she was in a hurry to get pregnant and CAGE the guy. He didn't kill his friend to disrupt the marriage. Why couldn't she be at least reasonable for one. In everything in life someone has to lose more, she didn't consider her loss before acting her Super Heroine shine. She was quick to declare that she felt nothing for the guy, that should tell you that she never felt anything from the beginning but was always pretending, probably because she was already old and losing patience she got pregnant, and sensing some possibility of disappointment then she over-reacted. She was the one that ruined everything. Holla! |

Africa is not different from any part of the world, the only problem is we have too much poverty, but the overall problem of xenophobia informed by taking jobs away from the locals is everywhere. UK citizens don't want to see other Europeans coming in to take their jobs, especially those Danish and Romanian migrants. Do you think Americans are happy with those hideous Mexicans? vedaxcool: Jesus is God. If you continue to see him as a prophet (in your own language) you'll never understand him. God deserves the best from us, yet he was never demanding. Do you know anything about Mary? Jesus did much for her, so she in appreciation did what she did, which was nothing. Judas in that your quote was also added in parenthesis that he will sell Jesus, indicating that he, Judas, was always in love with money. vedaxcool: If you read with understanding you'll see that Jesus was trying to show the extent of the woman's faith. It had nothing to do with pride but with the work of faith which he came to do. There are some other instances like that in the scripture. He that read let him understand. Holla! |

Islam for Muslims / Re: Why Mohammed Was Not A Prophet by precap2(m): 11:00am On Jul 26, 2010 |
vedaxcool: He was not a prophet but the Son of the Most High God. Muslims are used to the word prophet. Philipians 2 vs 5 - 7: Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. This is humility per excellence. He is God, but he took the form of men in humility so that he can teach men humility and redeem us from ourselves first, and from the evil one second. Holla! |

italo: You haven't made much meaning here unless you're saying that Christianity and Roman Catholicism mean one and the same thing, which is a normal claim for a born catholic though. italo: Apostle Paul of the Bible was not a Roman by birth, he was made a Roman citizen because he was a tool in the hands of Rome before his conversion. italo: It merged the state and the church just to acquire all the powers in the world and used same as instrument of oppression. It incorporated all the Roman idols into the church. What more do you need to know? italo: Wish Christ really was that, but not so my brother. They run a government and not a Church and the Pope is the head and not Christ. The only church that have ambassadors in the guise of Papal Legates. One day you'll see clearly. Holla! |

Religion / Re: Is Everyone Born With Original Sin? by precap2(m): 8:58am On Jul 26, 2010 |
nopuqeater: May I let you know that Christians don't inherit any sin from anyone. It's Roman Catholics that inherit sin based on their doctrine. And Roman Catholics have nearly the same doctrine as Muslims, from repetitive prayers to counting beads, to names like Fatima and the likes. We Christians don't inherit no sin brother. Don't forget that its Catholics that made Muhammad rich and equipped him to fight and deliver Jerusalem to them, before the inevitable catastrophe. If you be a good Muslim you should know the rest of the story. The Christians you fight are the quasi-christians known as Roman Catholics. Holla! |

aletheia <--- This is a very learned discourse from you. Thanks. This thread is turning into a parliamentary discourse after the fashion of Edmund Burke and his times. Get on with it while there is still time. But Islamic historians who truly know their history will never tell you where Muhammad shouted "Allahu akbar". But if you know that Muhammad's mother was barren and that his father was a priest of an Arabian moon god called Allah, then you must have known the rest of the story. Holla! |

Jenwitemi: For some time now I've been looking thru your posts and I find that you're obviously a very tricky person. This is not passing judgment on you but strictly my personal views, which might be wrong anyway. You want to know if I'm a Catholic? Let me be plain with you. Catholicism is the disgrace of Christianity. Without catholicism christianity would have been better. Don't forget that catholicism is just a good name for a bad dog, the real name being Roman Catholic. It has every evil thing that the Roman empire stood for and is growing from bad to worse. Roman Catholic presented a diluted gospel to suit the Roman spirit because the harsh real Gospel was too much for them to handle. It merged too many evils into what the apostles were building. Hmmmmmm. . . I stop now and wait for attacks. Holla! |

I think it's about criticism now, those who criticize too much are afraid to receive same. I await your own revelatory thread with much patience.
