godofphysics: u tink say me wey chose physics nor knw book abi? Just 4 d record, i've neva 4 once had an aggr. as low as urz (63.5) all 2ru my quest for admisn(no insult intended), it hasn't 4 once been less than 68.0 (which is gud enof for any engr course at any skul).
Bcoz of time nd space, i deliberately chose physics dis yr afta some logical thinkin, of which if i had chosen mech eng, i wud've even been on merit list too, but by now, i'd b botherin masef abt fmaths (i didn't even realise it's compulsory until i got to dis thread). Now, i'm thankin God 4 havin made d rt decisn.
All i'm sayin is dis dear, admissn in dis country is just too complicatd dat u may end up nt fulfilin ur childhood fantasy of bcomin a 'certified' system engineer. U cn stil carry on wit ur career in system engineerin by learning d skills nd keepin ursef posted in d field irrespective of ur course, just make sure u gradu8 wit gud grades.
I shld've ignored u completely bcoz u even hv a chance to study elect engr else whr even if physics waz'nt gud enof yet, u're here makin noise.
I'd end dis by sayin life is nt al abt seekin pple's opinion always, smtimes, u just hv to USE UR HEAD, bcoz our various journey and destiny differs. Gud luck to u....

Flygeriansteve: This is rude. They all mean well. Well if you're convinced you don't want it, you can register but have it in mind to write JAMB again in your yr 1. That way, you'll have sth to hold on to if your application falls through. And I guess you're young. A first class in Physics is better than a 2.1 in Engineering.
