Musiwa419: That makes three of us. Most of the Kwarans I know are very proud of their Yoruba roots. As a matter of fact, it was on Nairaland I first came across folk debating their identity. |

Whathaveidone: All jokes aside, Seun, OAM4J, Afam4eva,lalasticala, why do you keep banning Aareonakakanfo and Shymm3x? We at least deserve to know as they don't appear to have broken any rules. Thanks. 1 Like |

jstbeinhonest: I agree with this. Personally, I am more interested in the issues facing our region and how we intend to approach them. I don't mind posts on Yoruba history though as a lot of "us" need more education . totit, that "Proudly Yoruba" group is a very good source. Good morning everyone. 1 Like |

mo ki yin o eyin omo 'odua. I have followed this thread from its inception and there have been some really good suggestions/ideas. It would be great if we can get them (some or all) across to the different state governments or at the very least DAWN. Why is a regional system difficult to achieve in present day Nigeria? Is it because we are not fighting for it enough or most of us (Yorubas) aren't interested? Once we understand the underlying issue, we can begin to come up with strategic solutions to achieve our objectives. I have to say coming to Nairaland has opened my eyes and made me more pro-Yoruba but a lot of my friends and acquaintances still form "sophistication" and are quite nonchalant. This is probably the biggest task we have as a people - we need to get the average person more interested in all things Yoruba and committed to our advancement as a group. I will be back with some ideas of my own. Good job guys. 4 Likes |
Politics / Re: Nigeria Cannot Survive Without The Igbos by PrincessJaneDoe: 9:31pm On Jun 20, 2015 |
StOla: Study Igbos very well and like me you will soon come to the conclusion that an average Igbo man does not like anyone. If you are nice to them they see this as a weakness, think you are stupid and will try to take advantage of you. 9 Likes 2 Shares |
