Politics / Coalition Of Opposition Parties Is The Only Way To Unseat APC ~ Prince Victor by Princevictor966(m): 2:07pm On Jan 26
By Ade Tunji | 2 min:

Addressing PDP youths at his residence on Friday, Prince Victor said the country has been bedevilled by a government anchored on corruption, oppression and insecurity and there is an urgent need to halt the trend.

He advised youth members of the party to work within the framework of the law and aggressively mobilize other youths to register ahead of the next general elections.

The former Cordinator Atiku Support Group said, “a brief glance at the political history of Nigeria confirms that to hold power at the centre, you need a broad coalition, alliance, merger or whatever you may like to call it.

“Today’s situation is no different. The country is in the grip of a bad government whose only purpose is to retain power by hook or by crook – preferably by crook.

“APC does not need merger or alliance – they are already merged and are in alliance with the Police, INEC, and the Judiciary.

“The country is tired of APC; we are tired of oppression; we are tired of corruption; we are tired of insecurity and we are tired, full stop!”

“I believe coalition is the only way to prevent continuation of this bad governance. The political class is at one that the only way to stabilise the nation is for the opposition to merge and face the ruling party,” he added.

Prince said while elected members of the PDP could hold their heads high that they were truly elected, the same could not be said of their APC counterparts who expertise in rigging and use of thuggery and police intimidation to win elections.

This is not only a wake up call to opposition parties but also a call to the Nigeria populace to not loose hope of a greater Nigeria over the ills of election manipulations of the last general elections.

Interview With Comrade Prince Victor, Political Analyst and Media Influencer, conducted by Adewale Akande on Tuesday, 25th of January 2022.

Q - Comrade, we have since trailed your outings on social media and have read so far your staunch support for the North to produce the next president of Nigeria after President Muhammadu Buhari, what has influenced your decision sir?

Comrade - Well, first I thank you for having me here today Mr Akande. To start with your question, I have made it clear to Nigerians that the North still have one term of four years to produce the next president at the expiration of General Buhari's tenure in 2023 and nothing could have influenced my decision if not equity, fairness and justice. The South already had 14 years as president and the North would have done 10 years in 2023, where then is the remaining four years and where lies justice, that is why we must be considerate in these current political dispensation before our ego deals a big blow at us.

Q - You are from the South East and few politicians from your zone have declared interest to run for the Presidency in 2023, are you for or against their move?

Comrade - The word "for or against" shouldn't have come in. Yes I am from the South East and there's no way I will kick against my geo-political zone in producing the next president but all I have keep saying is that the timing is rather wrong and not binding on any Nigerian. He who goes to equity must go with clean hands and that is the problem of some of us in the south, we are sometimes unrealistic. We just have to wait for 2027 and we will have our quest granted unconditionally. I actually don't want to go deep into these issue for it might be misconstrued by my people.

Q - What is your take on the Tinubu's Presidency as he his believed to emerge the ruling party's flagbearer in the forthcoming presidential election?

Comrade - Allow me to take a deep breath at that question, okay, I have said it is not yet the time for the south to produce the next president and so i wonder if Tinubu is not from the south. You see the south west, particularly my residential Lagos State have already developed these ethnic divide as they now see the south east a threat to their presidential aspirations and for now I don't think I want to discuss about Tinubu, maybe pretty much later. The only thing I can say, is that may affliction not rise the second time.

Q - Comrade, being a staunch member of the PDP and holding the interest of the Northern Presidency in mind, with speculations that Atiku is vying for a shot at the Presidency, who do you think will emerge the presidential flagbearer of the party for the 2023 election?

Comrade - Well, as you already know high consultations is ongoing and as I am talking to you now, the former vice president technical committee leader High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, is touring the country, he is in the south east now seeking support for His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and that is way to go but for the party's flagbearer, I am not in the position to tell, we just have to wait after the party's primary elections and he or she will be unveiled to Nigerians. We will respect and cede our unflinching support to whoever emerges irrespective of our ethnic and religious affiliation.

Q - On suspension of petrol subsidy removal, you were one of the voices that kicked against its removal, what's your take on FG suspension?

Comrade - Even when I want to commend FG on the suspension of petrol subsidy removal, I will refrain from doing that for it is copiously pellucid to me that these are all strategies for the electioneering year.

Q - Sir, Any message or word of advice for Nigerians?

Comrade - All Nigerian is very important as such, should shun criminal activities and other social vices that dents our images. As the election draws near, Nigerians should be wise, compare and contrast before voting for we cannot bear the consequences of going back to Egypt, it would be grief. The youths in particular should refrain from being used by politicians to ferment troubles and cause nuisance on, before and after elections, the stipends offered to vote a candidate of questionable characters doesn't worth it, you're instead mortgaging your destiny and that of your future generations, please shun the practice now. I appeal to everybody to bring ourselves together and keep being patriotic citizens, if we are together, we stand tall. Thanks.

Interviewer - Comrade sir, it's been a pleasure talking to you. Thank you very much for your time.

Politics / Jonathan And Apc by Princevictor966(m): 8:15pm On Sep 16, 2021
- Poach from the PDP confirms party's emptiness and pettiness.

- Apc dreams; A castle in the sky and lofty dreams.

By Prince Victor:

A lot has been said about the former President Jonathan joining APC. The APC Chieftains have been seriously working to drag this Noble Soul to the murky waters of their Inglorious Party.

Nigerians still remembers vividly when Jonathan was in Power these same APC members saw nothing good in him and his Party, PDP. I know, they say, in politics anything and everything goes.

We are now living witnesses to what is going on in Nigeria. "Things Fall Apart And Centre Cannot Hold". Nigeria has been discredited globally. We now have a new name: Terror Country. The slogan then was 'Sai Baba' and 'Change' mantra. Jonathan Must Go and PDP Must Be Shown The Way Out.

Now, why the glamour for the same Jonathan by the same APC? Has Jonathan suddenly becomes the 'saviour' they did not know or see until now? Jonathan was and still a PDP leader of sort. Now that he is being sort after, especially by Northern APC Elites, is the Party saying indirectly that they are surrendering the administration of the country to a more superior and competent hands? This is where PDP comes in because Jonathan is PDP and PDP is Jonathan.

The Apc penchant for wooing members of the PDP has copiously shown and confirm her level of pettiness and emptiness, that it truly lacks true followership, politicians of goodwills and electable materials and hence it's desperate bid to poach from the PDP, otherwise why would it be so desperate to poach from the PDP?

The Apc should understand that life has offered a lot more of honorable posts than occupying the presidential villa in Abuja. One of these places is where His Excellency President Dr Goodluck Jonathan GCFR has found himself after handing over power in 2015. Having relinquished control when the world anticipated an upheaval in Nigeria, Jonathan wrote his name in gold and became an icon of democracy in Africa.

Nigerians are not unaware of the Apc hidden logic, this move is logical in the sense that Jonathan has had his First Term of 4 Years. He only needs another 4 Years to constitutionally complete his mandatory 2 Terms. The logic here is that should Jonathan accepts to join APC, gets the Party Ticket for ONLY 4 Years, then the Presidency returns to the North. Period. That's why Jonathan is the North game plan. Use and Dump!

As Robert Greene offers in his 48 laws of power, every man of power must know when to stop. When those who villified you yesterday start to patronize you, the tendency is for the man to lose his guard, become comfortable even overconfident about his own importance, it is at such junctures that danger lurks most.

Our distinguished and honorable World Peace Ambassador, His Excellency President Dr Goodluck Jonathan GCFR GCON a former deputy governor cum governor, a former vice president cum President assimilates these so well and will do well to distance himself from this 'arrangement' of shenanigans and jamboree sinking, stinking party as the Apc to keep to his already hard earned Dignity and Honour across the globe.

The Apc dreams to capture the Nigeria most finest politician remains a lofty dream and castle in the sky as her party would be dumped in the museum of history where they truly belong by Nigerians who are keenly waiting for the PDP to take over and get Nigeria working again.

While the Igbos are significantly and strongly clamouring for a "Sovereign State of Biafra" the Yorubas on the other hand are agitating for a nation to be named "Oduduwa" and on the other hand the oil rich Niger deltans are on the course for an independent state.

The only entity that still have a vested interest in the continuity of Nigerian union are the northern elites and in all honesty, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to assimilate why this view is so prevalent.

There is no doubt that a breakup of Nigeria would most likely lead to economic ruin for a lot of rich and powerful northerners who could potentially find themselves left behind in a "Landlocked" country with no access to the sea, no oil revenue and a large undereducated population of which an estimated 50% of women have no formal education.

Politics / Ihedioha: A Political Generalissimo And Imo Glimmer Of Hope by Princevictor966(m): 11:39am On May 29, 2021
By Prince Victor
29-05-2021

A staunch member and young chieftain of the people democratic party (PDP) Prince Victor has described the former governor of Imo State, His Excellency Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha CON as a "Political Generalissimo", "Imo Glimmer of Hope" and "Political Institute" in the Political stratosphere.

Prince who doubles as SA (LRM) on media and publicity wrote thus.

On May 29th 2019, there was a "glimmer of hope" that things were going to change for the better. The fate for a better Imo was hinged on the former speaker of the House of Representatives, Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Rt Hon Chief Emeka Ihedioha CON KSC following his successful deserving and massive electoral victory. With his inauguration as the 6th democratically executive governor of Imo State and elected occupant of Douglas House.

The original #PeoplesGovernor came prepared to govern as he hit the ground running, he came with a good script and a good team, Ihedioha had what it took to make Imo state one of the leading states in Nigeria, having eminently served as Speaker HOR, he was eminently qualified to make Imo one of the best as he brought his wealth of experience and extensive contacts to bear in the service of Imo State and the south east region.

These could be witnessed in his short-lived stint at the helms of affairs, described by Imolites as a "Golden Era" where in barely seven months in office, the people's oriented governor achieved a lot in the state that silenced opposition.

*Imo state was the least corrupt state in Nigeria with a record low 17.6% corruption prevalence index.
*Imo state was the fastest growing economy in Nigeria.
*Imo state was the best performing state in ICT development
*Imo state was the most educated state with low illiteracy rate.
*Imo state was the most peaceful and secured state in Nigeria. (Opposite of today under Apc Uzodinma)
*Gov Ihedioha topped the list of most popular, visible, celebrated and democratic governor in Nigeria.

To mention but few, these feats were credited to the leadership prowess and abilities of governance of the God's ordained governor, it was not in his characters to give flimsy excuses as he delivered day and night with little or no rest the dividends, benefits of democracy, he ran an all inclusive government, Due process, open partnership and most transparent government never seen in the history of governance in Nigeria even at a time he inherited the most dilapidated state from his predecessors.

For the first time in history and at a time, opposition elements were silent as they were confused because they never witnessed such giant strides achievements, precedence in the state in quite a short while, words were far from their mouths.

Ihedioha as a governor was humble and was never afraid to appoint people who possess more academic qualifications and more experiences than him in governance, his administration under the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria was on track in rebuilding Imo as his efforts yielded results and didn't fail in delivering his campaign promises to the Imo populace.

To all Imo people, it was a fait accompli with Ihedioha until the supreme court threw a spanner in the good work and nullified the mandate of Imolites freely given the #PeoplesGovernor and enthroned an unelected, notorious, corruption-personified, vendetta-friendly and undemocratic occupant of Douglas House cum Ikonso house.

For Ihedioha and Imolites, the Apex court inexplicable verdict has been put behind but it has kept hunting the fraudulent supreme court imposed administrator and all enemies of democracy and good governance.

Imolites are patiently waiting for the next election to collectively show the unelected occupants of Douglas House the exit as we are hopeful that there will always be light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how sinister it is.

May Imo Prevail.

A youthful philanthropist, Prince Victor on Sunday threw an elaborate birthday party for comedian Holy Boy at Freeborn Hotel and Suites in the Ojo area of Lagos state.

The young politician while addressing the celebrant, urged him to always be of good conduct, a good ambassador of his home, school, environment and not to engage in frivolous and fraudulent activities capable of ceding negative effect on him, family personality, the society and country at large.

Furthermore, he implored the guests at the event to shun all acts that cedes havoc to them and to utilize opportunity at their disposal in impacting and giving back to humanity, noting that "Giving is Living".

In his vote of thanks, David popularly known as Holy Boy, showed appreciation to Prince for not only hosting a memorable birthday party for him but also honoring the event, he prayed that God continue to shower his blessings on him and expand his financial wherewithal as he wished him well in his future endeavors.

It was a glamorous and colourful event that showcased people from the nooks and crannies of the local government including members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the entourage of Prince Victor.

The memorable event came to vespers with toast and special appreciation to God.

Politics / May Day: Prince Victor Compliments Workers' Chauvinism, Resilience. by Princevictor966(m): 12:17pm On May 01, 2021
- Says Workers Rules The Nation.

01-05-2021

By Prince Victor

Great Nigerian workers, I felicitate you on the occasion of the 2021 international worker's day, indeed you're the workforce of the nation.

I salute most especially the health workers who have since been at the front line of combating the spread and impact of the deadly novel corona virus in the world, your resilience and continued exhibit of unequalled patriotism is never unnoticed, you are indeed our heroes.

Sincerely, "The vigour of workers' solidarity is the irresistible undulation that enacts a revamp in any country."

Undoubtedly, I feel your pains, I know where the shoe pinches you, I understand your problems, I am aware of your expectation, It is however unfortunate that at a time Nigerian workers should have been enjoying the benefits of a new order and dividends of democracy under His Excellency Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON, the nation is set back by ills of election manipulations and bad precedence of the judiciary.

A little patience, your peril won't last forever, soon our civil and public servants, our pensioners and indeed all Nigerian people will smile again.

Nevertheless, as patriotic Nigerians continue to put in your best in service to the nation, remain steadfast, law abiding and never relent.

It is in these perspective that I call on Mr President, Gen Mohammadu Buhari to as a matter of eminent urgency to improve the welfare of Nigerian workers to enable work efficiency, resilience, chauvinism in an enabling conducive stress-free environment.

I use this medium to call on government at all levels to surmise it fit in ensuring 100% payment of workers salary when due. Payment of workers salaries is non negotiable and not to be celebrated as it is the sole entitlements of every civil servants.

I urge all workers, particularly front line health workers combating Covid-19 Pandemic not to deter in their commitments as they have won the heart of the world, I wish you the best, may God crown your efforts, bless and increase you all as you serve the nation selflessly.

God bless you all.

Politics / Nigeria Insecurity:time For National Dialogue, Synergy With Stakeholders. by Princevictor966(m): 11:06am On Apr 20, 2021
By Prince Victor

04.20.2021

This is the time of truth. It is a period to thoroughly examine ourselves and tell ourselves the truth. Insecurity is ravaging our country; it is not that it has not been there before or that it would not be even in best times, but the truth is it has gone beyond tolerable levels. On one side you have the Boko Haram menace and on the other there is the ravaging Fulani herdsmen versus community residents. We also have kidnapping and ritual killings. In addition, we have cases of armed robbery and most recently the incessant vandalism and attack on the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) south east being the epicenter. Indeed, these are realities of our times. These problems have been solved because sometimes many of us, including the leadership, wants to deny reality. For instance, when Vice President Yemi Osibanjo went abroad, he said issues of security were often exaggerated by political opponents.

We also do ourselves so much harm when our leaders refuse to accept the extent of insecurity that plagues the country. It is unfortunate that the ruling party will continue to say that things are turning better when raw statistics keep showing that the country is losing more lives daily than nations at war. This situation cannot be acceptable if truly ours is a habitation of sane people. The truth from history is that every case of insecurity no matter how complex it would seem has an answer once there is a political will. How do we then solve our challenge of insecurity? The first is to admit that the situation is bad and to have the federal government declare it a national emergency. This way it becomes a national problem and not the challenge of the political party in power.

"The federal government must of necessity admit her lapses in the security of the national and engage synergy with stakeholders in a national dialogue"

For most times we have seen the challenge of insecurity as failure of governance on the part of the ruling party. Other parties make fable references to developments in this regard, take frequent jabs at the ruling party and retreat, feeling happy they have scored political points that could bolster their fortunes in the next general elections; this is not right. Challenge of insecurity especially when it involves lives is beyond partisan politics. So declaring a national emergency would go a long way to change narratives and dispositions.

The next should be to convene an all politicians/political parties/security expert summit. It should begin with all politicians – all political parties security summit. This recommendation is based on the fact that the politicians are mainly behind most cases of insecurity, whether of the religious, ethnic or social kind. If politicians in the north for instance don’t want religious riots and senseless killings of non-indigenes that often accompany it, I can bet not one religious riot would happen anywhere in the north. When some of those riots happen, you are compelled to ask: what is the objective? If we tell ourselves the truth, it is territorial control that is often behind some of those dastardly activities. I have said it that militancy in the Niger Delta, Odua People’s Congress (OPC) and Indigenous People of Biafra were propped up and soon they became more powerful than their sponsors. Thugs and thuggery are part of the challenges.

So it is very pertinent that politicians meet and agree that it is time to drop negative behavior and bad political tactics so that the country can have peace. I insist that the politicians must look themselves in the face and agree, and once they agree 70 percent of factors behind insecurity would be dealt with. After that the politicians and security experts can meet so they can hear each other. My only fear is that security experts tend to talk in billions of naira and that can be scary. Not all security challenges require money to solve; a lot of them just require brainwork.

May Nigeria Prevail in all.

Nairaland / General / Just A Little Mistake by Princevictor966(m): 3:45pm On Mar 26, 2021
One night, before a shopkeeper closed for the day, a dog came into the shop, having a bag in its mouth. The bag had a list of items to be bought and money so the shopkeeper took the money and put the items in the bag.
Immediately, The dog picked up the bag of items and left.

The shopkeeper was surprised and went behind the dog to see who the owner was.The dog waited at the bus stop. After sometime, a bus came and the dog got onto the bus. As soon as the conductor came, it moved forward to show his neck belt which had money and the address as well. The conductor took the money and put the ticket in his neck belt again.

When it reached its destination, the dog went to the front and wagged his tail indicating that he wanted to get down. The moment the bus stopped, it got down. The shopkeeper was still following it. The dog knocked on the door of a house with its legs. Its owner came from inside and beat it with a stick.

The shocked shopkeeper asked him "why are you beating the dog?", to which the owner replied, "he disturbed my sleep. It could have taken the keys with it."

This is the truth of life. There is no end to the expectations people have from you. The moment you go wrong, they start pointing at your mistakes.

All the good done in the past is quickly forgotten. Any small mistake committed gets magnified. You can do 100 things for people but once you make a small mistake they forget all that you have done for them. They capitalize on your little mistake and hold it against you whereas they themselves ain't perfect.

The owner of the dog had no idea of what his dog went through to get those items yet instead of appreciating it he beat the dog.
Most people have no idea what you have gone through in life to make them happy or please them but at the end of it all, instead of them appreciating you or complementing you they end up looking for faults and mistakes from you just to discredit you. This is the kind of society we live in...

To all those who can relate to this story, may God bless you and may you find a fulfilling life as God unlocks opportunity for you.

I found this touching and thought of sharing... I hope it inspires someone to tolerate others .

Unmistakable fact that the food blockage points at is that, Nigeria as a country would have since disintegrated if the oil had come from the North, this is an undisputed fact.

Many of us are opined that the blockage should continue because while the southerners were quite enjoying the blockage to the devastating detriment and collosal loss of the northerners, they became too helpless and resorted to calling off their senseless food blockage to the south, they have learnt a serious lesson in the process, they now know that, they are not doing the South any favours they are the ones benefitting from the huge readily available market in the Southern part of Nigeria.

During the short-lived food blockage, the northerners were fast growing lean as they took solace and fortitude at heaps of dumpsites where of course their worthless food items were safe kept.

Whoever came up with the foolish idea of FOOD BLOCKAGE needs some lessons on basic economics and markets.

Lagos with a vastly urban population of about 20 million is roughly the same size as the country Cameroon, Edo, Delta, Rivers, and Cross River 4 states in the South South of Nigeria, have more population and and a far bigger market than the Desert country of Niger Republic.

Apart from the fact that we have bigger markets, Southern Nigeria also boast more purchasing power. So, wonder why the blockage could not last one week? Cameroon and Niger Republic can not compare to southern Nigeria.

The realities and the lessons learnt by the Northerners is that the North cannot do without the South.. if the governors in the South decide to invest massively in agriculture and food production then the North will have to source other smaller markets or end up eating their tomatoes and yams.

And now to my southern brethren, these has amount to a wake up call to all, it's time to invest more in the agricultural sector and I can categorically state without mincing words that even when we are confident that we can survive in any condition we find ourselves, we ought to reminisce that it's "Time to go back to farm"!

Lastly for the Northerners, "NEXT TIME, THINK TWICE BEFORE CALLING FOR A FOOD BLOCKAGE".

14 months after, IMOLITES still miss their God's Ordained, Duly Democratically Elected Executive Governor and his Rebuild administration as was well felt in the state.

PDP>>>273,404 Emeka Ihedioha - Winner by INEC
AA>>>>190,364 Uche Nwosu
APGA>>114,675 Ifeanyi Araraume
APC>>>96,465 Hope Uzodinma - Fraudulently imposed by supreme court
A>>>>>6,846 Ikedi Ohakim

The above 2019 Imo state gubernatorial election results remains sacrosanct for all ages, His Excellency Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha CON, fought a good fight and he never lost, his quest for justice was to furthermore strengthen the Judiciary but then the Apex court have established a bad precedence in the Nation for the records.

One will wonder how a man who came a distant fourth (Hope Uzodinma) suddenly became governor as pronounced by the supreme court, to the world, it has became wonders of the century for the Apex court to have succumbed to the wicked antics of the Apc's deceit and blackmail, which has made us believed that the S/C was badly influenced and infected with dubious characters.

The Pervading melancholic atmosphere across the state since the verdict was delivered, is a direct indication that the judgment didn't fulfill the desires and expectations of Imolites.

The verdict is ludicrous and silly, It is a travesty and subversion of justice as the judges acted contrary to the people by awarding undeserved judgment to the prayers of the APC, It is provocative, barefaced and direct assault on the integrity of our nation's justice system which is not healthy for our democracy, with this, one will categorically say that our democracy is in great danger and at stake, the nation itself has been submerged to the doldrums by dictators.

In a law court of competent jurisdiction, the least they would do, is a total cancelation of the election and order an immediate rerun of the exercise, other than the earlier ouster of the then incumbent Governor, Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha.

Indeed, i'm indecipherably bewildered and truculent.

Away from politics and prejudice to the sanctity of the supreme court, i don't understand how a man who took 4th position in an election, ends up being the winner of that election, supreme court has a lot to explain. What kind of VOODOO MATHEMATICS is that, which my 6+3+3+4 never taught me.

Today, IMO state doesn't have a democratically Elected Executive Governor but a Supreme Court Imposed and Enforced Governor against the people's wish.

The Judiciary has betrayed and jeopardize the trust reposed on them as the bastion of justice and liberty in a democracy, it can no longer be said to be the last hope of the common man.

This is just a simple Yoruba adage that states "Instead of a child to beat me at checkers, i would outwit him by cheating".

Today with what the supreme court have given to Imolites, governance in the state is at a stall as there's little or no presence of governance in the state, her citizens have since been gripped with phobia of increasing insecurities, banditries, kidnapping, maiming amongst others never witnessed in the state before.

Imolites have resort to taking succor and fortitude from the infinite mercy of God as her only hope as they keep praying for better days to arrive soon.

We have accepted our fate.
IMO IS STILL AND REMAINS IN THE HANDS OF GOD.

Politics / Ex-pdp Spokesman, Chief Olisa Metuh Returns Home As Legend by Princevictor966(m): 12:06pm On Feb 25, 2021
When I sighted these massive pictorial convoys, i thought the president was visiting, little did I know it was the "LEGEND" Olisa Metuh.

Seven years after, Ex-PDP Spokesman Chief Olisa Metuh returns to his country home amidst mammoth crowd and was well received as a Legend.

Thousands of PDP supporters from the 21 local government areas of Anambra State, were armed with party flags and placards. They trooped to the border town of Amansea and danced for several hours while waiting for his arrival from Enugu. This caused traffic gridlock in Awka.

Speaking with an emotional tone, Metuh said he was grateful to God for saving him from the jaws of death.

“I have been to the lowest, deepest end of the valley. I have wrestled with the demons. I wrestled with the devils. The Almighty God has saved me. For that, I commit the rest of my life to the service of God and the people.

“What I passed through was not easy. It was like an armed robber who came into someone’s house and removed all the person’s belongings and even defiled his wife in the process and went on to beat up his children and the person could not do anything because the robber was armed.

“When we have power, we should know how to use it because at the end of the day, all of us will die.

“My message to PDP is hope, forgiveness and unity. We should not continue to dwell on the wickedness upon us. Rather, we should sow happiness, love; we should not sow bitterness.”

According to him, the PDP lost the 2015 presidential election and that APC did not win the election, even as he added that the true story would be left for another day.

Indeed, it was a long journey, Welcome home the Chieftain

Politics / Young People Should Join Politics Now Or Remain Frustrated. by Princevictor966(m): 3:25pm On Feb 10, 2021
Young people should channel their energy, creativity and aspirations to become political leaders and activists.

Despite making up more than half of the population in Nigeria, young people (ages 18-30) often find themselves marginalized from mainstream politics and decision making. They struggle to gain the respect of public officials and are seen as lacking the skills and experience to engage in political activity and lead positive change in their communities. This exclusion, combined with limited educational and economic opportunities, can leave young people both idle and frustrated with the status quo.

Today’s youth need real opportunities to participate in political processes and contribute to practical solutions that advance development. When given an opportunity to organize, voice their opinions and play a meaningful role in political decision making, young people consistently demonstrate their willingness and ability to foster positive, lasting change. They also become more likely to demand and defend democracy, and gain a greater sense of belonging.

I therefore call on young people to channel their energy, creativity and aspirations and become political leaders and activists. Programs build young people’s skills, knowledge and confidence while helping them more effectively express their voices, build relationships with political leaders, and break down sociocultural and institutional barriers to participation.

I beseech the youths today to support a cause they are passionate about, it is something never to regret, it will enrich your life, familiarize you with your community, and connect you to people and ideals that will positively impact your perspective for the rest of your life.

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) is a political party that aligns with your values, join today where your cause will be magnificent as the party remains the Largest in Nigeria and Africa with people's oriented ideologies and policies. It has proven to stand tall among the rest as the only party for youth active participation and recognition in politics.

Contact the office today and figure out how you can get involved in politics and register as a member for the betterment of our country.

IMO @45: Uzodinma Missing As Prince Victor Felicitates Ihedioha, Ohakim, Okorocha, Udenwa, Mbakwe, Enwerem, others.

- Preaches and Sues for Unity and Peace.
-Prays for God's Liberation in the state.

By Prince Victor

I heartily felicitate with His Excellency, Rt Hon. Emeka Ihedioha CON, Former Governors, IMO State Government and the good people of IMO State on the auspicious occasion of her epochal 45th Anniversary of the creation of IMO state since February 1976.

Imolites are indeed elated and euphoric to celebrate this years milestone irrespective of the anomalies and crisis bedeviling the state.

As we anticipate to see Eldorado in the near-future, we must as a matter of fact cognize and reminisce that for the state to emerge from her present status quo with regards to infrastructural and economic development, the volatile peace in some parts of the state especially Orlu local government area, which recently witnessed Eastern Security Network ESN/Nigeria Army clash, citizens and other inhabitants within the state must learn to tolerate one another for peaceful coexistence.

Peace and Unity remains the rudiments of any meaningful development in the society, therefore imolites and visitors must rise above any form of divide and move the state forward. It is high time the IMO state government provide lasting solution to crisis and anomalies bedeviling the state.

It is in this line that I call the IMO state government to drive masses friendly policies and create jobs for the teeming youths so they can become more useful to the society instead of engaging in criminal activities and other social vices.

Let me also appeal to the people of the state and her government to rededicate themselves to the development ideals for the creation of the state for sustainable human development and virile economy.

The individual and collective efforts of citizens, especially the founding fathers of the state and other patriotic people, had resulted in landmarks, by which IMO State stands tall among its peers. Imolites therefore, should not forget the heroic deeds of our pasts leaders, for, without them, our story will be incomplete.

We pray that Almighty God will liberate the state and continue to give our Leaders the wisdom and protection to continue to serve humanity and lead IMO State to greater heights.

Politics / Re: Nigerian Youths Are Too Poor To Run For Political Offices. by Princevictor966(m): 1:03pm On Jan 30, 2021
pansophist:
Same youth that protested #Endsars and did a good job while at it? Is is not the same youth that made sure medical care was available during the protest, food, water, handling donations globally even though their budget was less than the donations the government received to tackle the pandemic?

I'm in the business world and I see lots of young, intelligent and conscientious Nigerians doing great things for themselves even without the support of the government. Do not make the social media fool you, those are noise and one need to dig a bit deeper, to see that there are great Nigerians that will turn this country around if they are given the opportunity.

I've not even mentioned the reserves from Nigerian diaspora that have all kinds of professional expertise and more. And if a well trusted Nigerian youth comes out to run for a political office, the fund to support the candidate will show up instantly, just as it happened in #Endsars. There is hope.

Truly there's Hope and we can make it happen as we believe in the circumstances of possibilities.

Thanks for that salient comment
