Family / Re: A Young Man Threatens To Kill Himself Today 20th Of July by Princewill23(m): 5:00pm On Jul 20, 2015
I have actually been around someone who once attempted suicide and I can tell you for free that people who go suicidal are not necessarily stupid, illogical or cowardly. It's a state of mind no one fully understands (even the best of phychiatrists) except the victims themselves. If this is real, the young man doesn't deserve all this bashing. He really needs help and someone who knows him should get him an expert.

Romance / Re: IS It Wrong To Sleep With 99% Of The Girls In Your Department In School? by Princewill23(m): 5:54pm On May 15, 2015
It may actually not be a big deal. There are some of those funny departments where you have about 4 people (2 guys and 2 ladies). OP probably slept with one and almost succeeded with the second...that could be his 99% depending on how bad his maths skills are.

As a child I read a story about the monk and the nightingale (a singing bird). The monk took an oath of silence and had to wander into the thick forest to avoid any interaction with humanity. On a certain day he saw a nightingale with a broken wing. Being a monk, he took some pity for the poor bird and had to take it home (his little hut). He didn't even know that the bird could sing!

When the bird became well enough, he started making very melodious music for the monk. He couldn't believe his luck - he finally got the company he craved so much for. Now he was torn between keeping the bird (to continue keeping him company) and allowing it to fly to freedom. After pondering on this for a while, he decided to grant the bird its freedom (the fairer option). This made him very lonely and sad afterwards.

Then few years later, the monk became older, very ill and still very lonely. On a certain day, he heard this melodious and familiar sound somewhere in the surroundings...the music inched closer and closer...and just at his hut. Lo and behold it was the nightingale that had come back with its chicks (or whatever the young ones of nightingales are called). So it was more music, more company and happier moments for the old monk until his dying day.

According to the story book, the moral of the story is "If there is anything you really want so much, do not be afraid to let it go because if it is really yours...it will definitely come back to you.

Now, has this ever happened to you? Is there something you wanted so much, had to let go because of circumstances and it later came back to you?

Read your comment again, dyslexic _idiot

Very funny. You would have just stated that you are bored and wanted someone to banter with instead of creating some imaginary stories. My nairaland time for this morning has expired so I have to move on to other things.

Suicide? I never mentioned that anywhere? Where are you reading from? Are you that little girl mentioned $20 to you cos it seems you are gifted at misunderstanding people...

I think you should charge her to court for a breach of contract. Don't ever allow anyone trick you of what rightfully belongs to you.

While you are at it, check if you have any rope around you, tie it to the nearest ceiling fan, stand on a chair, tie the rope loosely around your neck, kick the chair away so you can hang on the rope without your legs touching the ground...I will come back to give you further instructions.
