Do it, it will save you around 700€ when applying for your license.

Every small thing una go run to cling of the african-western disparity. Rubbish is rubbish anywhere!

If you don't know, the west made you everything you are today.

Who defines a dance step as rubbish?

And to correct you, during my personal research into history and chronological of innovations, I discovered innovations existed in Africa long time ago. I wouldn’t blame you though, lots of you are being “wasternwashed”.

The likes of you rejects Afrobeats, called it local, but adapt the foreign music. It takes the west to validate our Afrobeats before the likes of you wanted to be associated with.

No one should decide how you dance, dance is a reaction to merriness, as far you flow with the beats. Every dance is valid.

Your kinds that expects the white to think and decide for them.

All the whole dance steps in Nigeria are aggressive, meaningless, and awkward.

Africans have a way of demoting their culture, but praise anything from the western world.

Did i tell you i was an artist? I am a listener and i know shitty songs when i hear one.

The way you think is like someone with cellotapes on the brain.

Fyi, which international recognition Nigerian music has? You think people listen to wizkid and davido in the west? grin

The only time, most people hear about them is in the grammy in one stupid category

You are not great.

Music is not just about about sad lyrics like the Western music.

You know what I love about Nigerian Music, it has a way to lift you up, and it comes with this magical sense of happiness attached to it. Unlike the west music that is always depressing, and sad.

Burna boy has great lyrics. Wizkid Blessed is one of my overall all time best song.

You don’t have to a$s lick the West all the time… you don’t have to always want to be like them, remove that slavery mentality.

Afrobeat is the best.

Achso, gut...
According to the three people I've asked here and from the answers given, I'm typing this. Alongside some other information as well.

I figured that this new rule of Category B could have started quite recently, because I'm sort of sure that I saw that rule while checking the requirements on the website in late 2020(could be wrong about when it started, but I'm just saying that's when I saw it first.)

As you know, the world is still trying to accommodate normal life alongside the COVID-19 situation, so immigration could still be tight in some areas.

[s]Now, I feel the reason the Consulate/Embassy is making things quite uneasy for Nigerians is this: in the past, some Nigerians have gone through this process like us, they've gotten to Germany and then they've done a lot of substandard things and then gotten deported. Some have gone the wrong road and entered illegally, caught and also deported. Obviously, the normal response would be to halt or at least, neck up the process, making it quite difficult for others, all in an effort to curb such situations, which isn't surprising because Nigerians like to cause trouble. Germany isn't the only country that has done this. Poland, France, even the UK and US have started stressing the process for Nigerians because we seem to have made things worse.[/s]

However, from these three people who have recently gotten good progress, I am optimistic that the embassy is still giving feedback. The waiting time may still be quite tedious, but there's still hope. At the moment, Germany and the EU as a whole are facing some major immigration issues and I feel that could also be another reason for the delay. However, it would appear that Olaf Scholz may bring in a new law favouring immigration, so let's pray and be hopeful.

I, myself have been waiting for some time now, but I haven't given up. I advise you try doing something else that keeps you less bothered. Here's one thing I do a lot: I open Google Maps, search the university i want to go, or at least, the airport and do a virtual tour. That really brings my faith to a good level. One of my favourite bible verses is Jeremiah 29:11. You can make it yours too. Gather your faith and expectations, take it to God and watch what He will do.

Also, bitte, mach euch keine Sorgen. Alles wird gut.
Gott wird uns helfen, Amen.

(See the image I posted, from the three people in this group, God did it for them, He will do for us)

Nigerians are not even much in Germany to start with. And, Nigerian students don’t do any bad stuffs compared to any other Non-EU nations.

You can’t compare data of those who migrated illegally(through sea or refugee) with those who migrated legally like students.

However, the covid-19 stuff is a more valid reason for the tight immigration control. And secondly, there are too many applicants applying from Nigeria, and I believe there’s a quota for each country. So, I guess this is one of the reasons why it’s so hard right now to get a student visa.

And please, stop the bs rumours that Nigerian students are doing bad stuffs in Germany, this is totally wrong on all grounds. Nigerian intellects have the great reputations of being outstanding at their work places all over the world.

Hello guys, So this thing has been bothering me for quite a while now and I would like to have someone else's idea on it.

In my mid 20's currently undergoing a masters program at a Russian University (Somewhere around Moscow). Online because of the pandemic. The masters is a full scholarship with a little stipend calculated by your grades.
Now the borders are open and I have the opportunity of being there physically. Its kind of mandatory right now even. The scholarship is supposed to last 2 years with a mandatory third year where you will have to work for the school as payment for your scholarship. While studying you get paid, little money though, lets say 200k in conversion to naira. While working (On your third year) you also get paid but this depends on the role you interviewed for and your skill level. The masters is in Data Science and that is also my field.

But the only problem now is I just got a really good job here in the country that pays lets say about half a million. With my current projections, I could level up a bit more and settle down in 2 years

Now this current amount is more than what I will get paid in Russia both as a student or as a worker for the next 3 years (According to my projection). However, the school will cover accommodation, so the stipends are just for feeding, coffee, movies and dates, etc.

Do you think the masters is worth me giving up such a opportunity in Nigeria for the abroad?

In a nutshell, do you think having a foreign masters certificate is worth it?

I will advise to go Russia, with your skills which I believe is great, the compensation you’ll get after graduation is worth much more than any offer you’d receive right now.

You’ll have a foreign degree + your skill set.

And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

But Donald Trump is of God right?

You preach bitterness and hate instead of Gospel (Good News). “ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬‬:‭11‬ NKJV)”

From my experience because I live in Germany.

IF YOU ARE IN GERMANY ILLEGALLY, or through asylum… You will suffer for years, and wouldn’t make anything in the long run. It doesn’t worth it. Unless you get into something illegal like most people do, once you’re caught… your life is practically fu***ked and you’re done.

But if you’re legal, there are freaking so many jobs in Germany. Yes, Germany is expensive compare to countries like Portugal or Poland, but the wages in Germany is high as well.

It’s logical to learn German, to integrate and for more job opportunities. I can’t speak German for years and I’m doing not bad… I work with English… everyone seems to speak English a bit.

Just go on Linkedln to check various professional job opportunities in Germany. Germany is lacking labor force, the demand is high, especially skilled labors in STEM.

Conclusion: Germany doesn’t need the society rejects from Nigeria, if you’re skilled in Engineering, IT, Health, I mean STEM in short, you’ll love Germany.

And stop billing people abroad, they work hard for their money, unlike people stealing, doing Yahoo or corrupt politicians in Nigeria.
