What's this got to do with the topic?

Everything! Since most people have found ways to secure water for themselves.

I won't be surprised if LASG starts to TAX residents with borehole under an obscure mining & drilling tax and then force everyone to have their polluted water irrespective of if you need it or not.

This will make more sense to you.

It was jubilation in Ekiti State as the Supreme Court on Friday dismissed petitions filed by ousted Governor of the State, Mr Segun Oni against the ruling of the Court of Appeal, sitting in Ado-Ekiti that re-affirmed the election of Dr. Kayode Fayemi as earlier delivered by an Ilorin Appeal Court on October 15, 2010.

The Supreme Court had in its 7-man unanimous ruling struck out Mr Oni’s suit; laying to rest the nation’s longest election petition that spanned from 2007 to 2013.

Ado- Ekiti, the State capital was agog as the news of Fayemi’s victory reached his supporters and well-wishers who took to the streets in their thousands to celebrate the long-awaited verdict.

The supporters who held their brooms, the symbol of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), sang various songs of solidarity and victory; chanting different slogans including the popular “4+4= 8″ and “JKF- Just Keep Faith”, “Eyiyato” among others.

There was traffic congestion on both lanes from Fajuyi to Old Garage, with different groups and bands singing and dancing, while commuters took alternative routes through Oke Ori Omi- Aremu- Irona road and Ile Abiye- GRA- Fajuyi road to get to their destinations.

Addressing the party’s supporters in Ado Ekiti, the Deputy Governor, Professor Modupe Adelabu, Wife of the Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the SSG, Alhaji Ganiyu Owolabi and the Chief of Staff, Mr yemi Adaramodu thanked the people for supporting the party and Governor Fayemi throughout the judicial tussle.

They assured that the Fayemi-led administration would not relent in pursuing people-oriented programmes and projects as spelt out in the 8-point agenda of the administration

well your post clarified the situation unlike the first post.
Politics / Re: Oni Loses Bid To Unseat Fayemi At Supreme Court by PvtParts1: 5:33pm On May 31, 2013
OK numbnuts, this is how it works;

The Supreme court is the highest court in the land but that doesn't make it the first call for arbitration.

The normal procedure was to head to the election Tribunal (A tribunal is headed by 3 appointed judges that is where the "Tri" comes in)

If the verdict is not satisfactory to any of the parties a higher court known as the Appeals Court is the next step.

If the verdict set aside by the Appeals Court is still contested the Supreme Court is the last and final venue.

Oni's lawyers wanted to accelerate hearings and eventual verdict by going straight to the Supreme Court by side-stepping any of the lower courts (of which I cannot be specific on the one exactly for sake of not giving a phuck about your feeble attempt at democratic process).

The supreme court ruling merely washed it's hands off the case.

Callme_JKLUE: The Supreme Court has struck out an appeal by former Ekiti State governor, Segun Oni against the election of Governor Kayode Fayemi.

In a unanimous decision by a 7-man panel delivered in Abuja on Friday, the court said it lacks jurisdiction.
Justice Sylvester Ngwuta read the lead judgement to which others agreed.

...And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
-Revelation 13:3

The Beast is the revamped Islamic Caliphate that was destroyed by European Colonialism

After the granting of independence, the Arab Countries have been ruled since by despotic tyrants in the form of Military head of states or royalty.

The Arab Spring marks the beginning of the rise of the New Islamic Caliphate.

Romance / Someone Explain To Me Why This Is Like This. by PvtParts1: 3:03pm On May 31, 2013
In the West, Black women who date White guys are generally successful and educated and would date a young handsome rich white guy.

Black guys on the other hand date mostly fat old Euro-Trash.

Why?

Back Home most White guys who date our 9ja babes are either fat older men dating (or is phucking rather) young poor uneducated girls.

But Guys who date white women here, usually date beautiful, young, well traveled educated white women.

Why is this so?

I believe this topic belongs more on /POL/ than here but let me get your "romantic" take on this.

I made a prediction about the final outcome of the Arab Spring when it started. In my prediction I stated that the emergence of a Pan-Arabic Nation which will emerge as a power bloc will arise. I came to this conclusion from observing the motivation of the protesters and rebels from news reels and media publications. The rallying rhetoric wasn't to enshrine democratic ideals or necessarily a better living conditions or to root out long-standing tyrannical rulers but to further the cause of Islamic rule.

This is evident in the makeup of countries like Egypt, Tunisia and Libya were hardliner Islamic rule has replaced military dictators.

The Arab does not care much about Democracy. It is evident in the average tenure of Arab leaders and it can also be traced to Islamic doctrine which frowns at liberal politicking.

The Syrian conflict is a struggle between the Wahabist movement and the Shia bloc. The Syrian government enjoys support from Russia, China and notably Iran.

The Israeli angle is an invented problem by both the struggling Syrian regime and Tel-Aviv.

You may ask why Israel will want to draw unnecessary heat to itself by provoking an attack on an Arab Country without suffering an influx of Jihadist elements sworn to eliminate the Zion State. Well the answer is simple. Consider the two Gulf Wars, Sadam Hussein relied on anti-Jewish sentiments to rally support for his government and thus inadventerly gaining Nationalist support against the American led coalition.

Islam and the wide-spread hatred of Jews are the only rallying factors within the Arab world. Without these two evils, the Arab world would have destroyed itself in a series of civil wars.

Assad needs an external enemy, preferable a hated one like Israel to divert attention from him. The Israelis need the likes of Assad in power to stall the emergence of mad mullahs in power.

The Israelis made it crystal clear to the naive Obama about supporting insurgency in Libya and Egypt.
That warning only came to light with the raiding of the U.S. ambassadors resident in Benghazi and the current makeup of Jihadist rebels in Syria.

The Bible book of Revelations predicted the coming of a Beast, a wounded Beast. That Beast is the Revamped Islamic Caliphate but the revelations goes further to state that the enemies at the gate of Zion will be destroyed without Israel lifting a finger.

God Help us all.
