Thank you so much. Found this very helpful. To add him on my lap is about $66 but to pay for a seat was about $808. AirCanada. I found myself in an unfortunate situation where my return ticket had a layover in Canada, now I have to apply for a transit visa for myself. I’m just concerned about processing time but looks like I have no choice.

I am already talking to the airline to add my baby, thank you so much. It just looked like the information on the website of most airlines require a ticket- whether in lap or on seat. And needed me to procure a seat if I wanted to use a car seat.

It was mentioned in the mail that mothers expecting a singleton should arrive by 34 weeks. I have bought flight tickets already and I will arrive by 35 weeks 4 days. Should I be concerned?

$200 is required to be paid for appointment date to be issued. Does Oakbend accept this payment by transfer? I don't have someone that can help me pay by cash?

If I sort out No 2. concern above, will I be registered at 36 weeks in Oakbend MC given by No. 1 concern.

I sent mail to Oakbend Medical Centre few days ago for quote but no response yet. I also checked Dr F. online and got his number but I couldn't reach him. I understand that he can provide both the doctor's and hospital quotations.

Can someone PM me his email address so that I initiate correspondence with him and book my appointment early.

I have a B1/B2 visa issued this June for a pre-employment training in Atlanta, the organization facilitated in schedulingthe interviewat the embassy. I later got a more stable offer in my current place of work same June and didn't travel again. I took in Mid-August.

While I understand the implications, I didn't want to re-apply due to difficulty getting an interview date. I have prove of the correspondence with the organization even when flights have been booked and I eventually communicated I wouldn't be coming again. Any advice?

I am traveling to Houston next week and the delivery of my child is due on 20th Dec. I have a place to live in Katy, however, I have not not been able to figure out the doctor and hospital. I have been following this forum for some time. I got in touch with a few hospitals and doctors and got their cost. The closest hospital to my place is Houston Methodist West Hospital (Katy) and the price of the this hospital is USD 5900 (exclusive of all other costs), they have shared with me the list of physicians as well (as attached) who are affiliated with this hospital. Not sure, which of these physicians would be the cheapest in terms of cost and can offer a good all inclusive package. Please advise if you know any of the physicians who can give a good cost for C-section and is affiliated to Houston Methodist West Hospital (Katy). Or the cheapest option for physician and hospital close to Katy.

Also, I found that the cost of Oak bend medical center is USD 5,100 (which I have found as the cheapest so far from all the hospitals I talked to) however, it is far off from my place. I have been able to speak with one of the physicians (Dr Fagbohun Funsho) affiliated to Oak bend medical center, whose price is USD 2,200 (includes C section cost and one ultrasound) and they told me they can offer me a full package and other related estimated costs of anesthesia, paedratics, lab tests etc. once I meet them for appointment. Can you advise the best option in terms of cost in terms of 1) a physician can provide a total package for all the costs including hospital cost 2) cheapest hospital and cheapest affiliated physician cost separately.
