mohrayo:
Can Phri/cipm be evaluated by wes.
This urgent for an hr personnel.I wouldn't want to register for unilag advanced diploma if its not accepted by wes.
Can someone please help with this I just woke up from my slumber(procrastination)
Thank you

Hi Mohrayo, if you are chartered (ACIPM), you can use that to claim a second degree. WES evaluates your CIPM associate diploma as a 3 year Canadian university degree. Furthermore, if you have PHRi, you can convert to CPHR which will give you an edge when job hunting for HR jobs in CAD (Toronto doesn't accept it though). All the best!

Topsmamen:

Your JD fits into NOCs 0112 and 1121. I advise you go with 1121.

Thank you @Topsmamen. However, I have submitted my application (AOR 8th April). Do you suggest I raise a CSE and show proof ( email correspondence to other H.O.D's) of my JD Or change it to 1121.

Good morning and happy holidays to everyone.

After seeing all these REJECTION cases based on NOC, I'd like to ask the Gurus to help me review my chosen NOC and my JD

• Communicates approved strategies, policies and procedures to business leaders and staff and drives compliance and adoption.
• Prepares the annual Human Resources budget and plan and drives their implementation.
• Develops and implements programmes and change interventions to enable the implementation of defined corporate values and organisational culture including internal and external trainings.
• Evaluates, presents the case for change and drives the implementation of the appropriate resourcing and talent management initiatives to ensure the comanyhas the talent required to deliver its strategy.
• Develops and maintains a competitive and merit-based compensation system to support the Company’s reward philosophy as well as its talent attraction and retention strategies. Leads benchmarking activities and advises management on findings and their business implications.
• Advises and coaches Heads of Business Divisions and Units on staffing and development to ensure optimal returns on investments in people.
• Reviews the outputs from the periodic Group performance reviews and moderation exercises. Reports and advises leadership on their implications for operational performance, succession management and employee engagement.
• Works with the Heads of Business Divisions or Units and Line managers, to design and implement staff training & development strategies and plans to ensure identified needs are addressed with suitable training interventions.
• Directs and motivates HR function staff in delivering the people management mandate in line with key deliverables specified in Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

I chose 0112 but it looks like 1121 seems a better option.

I need your honest reviews please.

Good morning everyone, I need your help please. Kindly assist with your experience on the questions below:

1. In address history, do I fill the place lived while In school as a contact address (I schooled outside lagos) or retain my father's house address.

2. I had my son in the U.S and I stayed there for 4 months, does my address at the time stay under address history or travel history.

3. Do I fill both passports (US and 9ja) for the part they requested for ID documents under child PR.

4. Am I to leave the Unique number part blank (I am post ITA)

Thank you in anticipation

Hello All.
First time posting here, however, i have been in reading mode for a while. Got into Houston a week ago.
I have a B1/B2 Visa expiring nxt year and used it for vacation before. Did the notification email and got the normal response. So here goes my POE Interview.

CBP: Hello
Me: Hi .... *Tired face and voice
CBP: Can i have your landing card
* hands it over to him
CBP: what kind of food stuff do you have
Me: Nigerian foods, cereal, dried fish Rice
CBP: okay. Who stays at this address
Me:Friend of the Family
CBP: How long are you staying this time
Me: 8 weeks. I'm here to have my baby.
CBP: oh! I see. Do you have money to cover your bills
Me. Yes I do. Asks me to show him the cash 8k and i showed him but he didn't count it.
Then he stamps me in for 6 months and tells me to ensure i pay my bills and not take any form of insurance all in less than 3 minutes.
That was how i walked Majestically to retrieve my boxes and head to my destination.

Thank you all for this thread... you don't know how much it helps.
Cc@ justwise, Modath, nefertitiram, firstymum, Nasadiva, LadyG, Ozycy, Ajokegold etc... The list is long abeg.
P.S. Can anyone give me their experience on Soulcare and Soj Urban Living and which is most recommended . I'm using DR E.

Thank you.
