1985, IBB was the president of
Nigeria and our
teachers told us that Buhari was
the former Head
of state. Our teacher also called us
"the leaders
of tomorrow" 27 years later, IBB
and Buhari are
still contesting for Presidency.
Its either our teacher lied to us
about being the
leaders of tomorrow. Or tomorrow
is yet to come.
Who's fooling who?
In 1983, Bamanga Tukur was the
Governor of the
defunct Gongola State (now
Adamawa & Taraba)
and 30 years later, he is today the
Chairman of
the ruling Party, The PDP;
Dr. Bello Halliru was commissioner
in the Old
Sokoto State (now Sokoto, Kebbi &

and 33 years after he is today
Minister of
Defence;
Major General David Mark(rtd) was
the military
governor of Niger State in 1984 and

Gov. Murtala Nyako was the
governor of Niger
State in 1976 and 36years later he is

Ogbonnaya Onu was governor of
Abia State in
1992 and 20years after he is today

SIR JENTLE: MY OWN SIMPLE ADVICE TO OUR POLICY MAKERS:

INCREASING IMPORTATION DUTY ON ANY GOODS/COMMODITY CAN NOT BOOST LOCAL PRODUCTION NOR STOP NIGERIANS FROM BUYING THEM,INSTEAD, IT WILL INCREASE THE DEMAND BECAUSE OF OUR MENTALITY THAT THE HIGHER THE PRICE THE HIGHER THE QUALITY.

IF YOU WANT TO BOOST LOCAL PRODUCTION: LOOK FOR WAYS TO EMPOWER AND ENCOURAGE OUR LOCAL/ INDIGENOUS PRODUCERS.
HAVE YOU NOT NOTICED THAT LOCALLY PRODUCED GOODS ARE COSTLY THAN IMPORTED GOODS.
HAVE WE TRIED TO FIND OUT WHY IT IS SO?
MAKE A LITTLE RESEARCH AND KNOW THE TRUTH.
and its very annoying why do this foreign goods sell cheaper than the locally made once

the price of local rice is more expensive in Edo state than foreign rice I hope this is done so that those farmers come to their senses

Jokes Etc / Joke Of The Day!!!! by Raphvizzy(m): 8:08pm On Oct 05, 2013
U'll love this....
A jobless man applied for the job of "office boy" at
Microsoft.
The HR interviewed him then watched him cleaning
the floor as a test. "You are employed" he said. "Give
me your e-mail address and I'll send you the forms to
fill in as well as when you may start". The man replied
"But I don't have a computer, neither an email." "I'm
sorry", said the HR manager, "If you don't have an
email, that means u do not exist. And who doesn't
exist, cannot have the job."
The man left with no hope at all. He didn't know what
to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to
go to the supermarket & buy a 10Kg tomato crate. He
then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less
than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He
repeated the operation three times, and returned home
with $60. The man realized that he can survive this
way, and started to go everyday earlier and return
late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday.
Shortly, he bought a cars, then a truck, then he had his
own fleet of delivery vehicles. 5 years later, the man is
one of the biggest food retailers in the US .
He started to plan his family's future, and decided to
have a life Insurance. He called an insurance broker,
and chose a protection plan.
When the conversation was concluded, the broker
asked him his email. The man replied, "I don't have an
email." The broker answered curiously, "You don't
have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an
empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if
you had an email?!"
The man thought for a while and replied, "Yes, I'd be
an office boy at Microsoft!"
Moral of the story:
1) Internet/ email/ bbm/ whatsapp is not the solution
to your life.
2) If you don't have internet/ email/ bbm/ whatsapp,
and work hard, you can be a Billionaire.
3) If you received this message by email/ bbm/
whatsapp, u are not any close to being a Millionaire.
P.S - Don't send this back to me, I'm busy selling
Tomatoes
Lool!!!

Technology Market / Latest On #BBM On ANDRIOD And IPHONE User! by Raphvizzy(m): 6:09am On Sep 24, 2013
Hi Android and iPhone users,
This is Andrew Bocking, head of BBM at BlackBerry. As
a follow up to our first blog post on Saturday, I want to
take a moment to provide you with an update on the
rollout of BBM on Android and iPhone.
Last week, an unreleased, older version of the BBM for
Android app was posted on numerous file sharing sites.
We were aware of an issue with this unreleased version
of the BBM for Android app. This older version resulted
in volumes of data traffic orders of magnitude higher
than normal for each active user and impacted the
system in abnormal ways. The version we were planning
to release on Saturday addressed these issues, however
we could not block users of the unreleased version if we
went ahead with the launch.
We attempted to address the problems caused by the
unreleased version throughout the day on Saturday, but
as active users of the unreleased app neared a million –
and accelerated – it became clear that the only way to
address the issue was to pause the rollout for both
Android and iPhone.
The team is now focused on adjusting the system to
completely block this unreleased version of the Android
app when we go live with the official BBM for Android
app. We are also making sure that the system is
reinforced to handle this kind of scenario in the future.
While this may sound like a simple task – it’s not. This
will take some time and I do not anticipate launching
this week.
Thank you for your patience while we take the time
needed to deliver the experience you expect from BBM.
We will continue to provide you with updates here on
InsideBlackBerry.com and through @BBM on Twitter.
We will notify everyone who has pre-registered on
BBM.com when BBM is available on Android and
iPhone.

Gaining attraction where?
Do u know how many millions of S4 has been sold already.
Nokia Lumia 1020 (just released) sold-out on AT&T last week.
They might seem to gain attraction here because Nigerians are obsessed with cheap products, but as much as I don't like tecno, what they offer may not be as the likes of samsung, htc, xperia but at that price its commendable.

what they offer is much better than that of HTC xperia and Samsung cus I have used all and talking about Nokia lumia they are currently recording losses (millions) because we preferred tecno. Nigerians dey buy phones oooo
