thanks bro, i appreciate

Omiinii:
They verify. Infact they can ask for updated bank statement to be sure if the money is still there. Wo infact they prefer a new verification process by asking for your MBS. That way they can see every intricacy in relation to your bank account.
I just say make I just clear you now.

Career

Once I have established myself, I can enter marriage knowing I have something to offer my partner. It is hard to find footing in your career after marriage.

I don't want to be anyone's liability, so, I would rather I have built myself to a reasonable extent, before joining forces with anyone

You are smart

Most people that build in Nigeria first do it for the show while they continue renting over there. Why would you build for another man to live in first and not you while you continue paying rent. Now that he has got a roof on his head, he can now think about building in Nigeria

No it’s not for show and it’s not just a Nigerian thing, other people from Africa do the same..buying a house in U.k is very expensive as most people pay through mortgage which takes years to finish settling!!!

Well op, you are really silly. You knew quite well for the past 2 years that you don't want her has a life partner yet you kept on digging her... Her pregnancy is your cross. You can't eat your cake and have it.
You are more concerned that you discovered that she has gone past are first trimester... She probably hid the pregnancy because she tot you will ask her to abort it.

Must every relationship lead to marriage??!! Some people just want to date and enjoy companionship!!! Nigeria and marriage mentality

I don’t know even if the right word is “scamming” but definitely your husband is up to something and from your story, it’s a negative move.. this seems like “mr and mrs smith”.. try to talk to him and let him know you are not a fool and he should come out clean..it’s really kind of hard to advise since he is there and you are here but have that heart to heart talk!!!!

congratulations bro..pls i need to ask you some few questions, my interview is august 16

osas87:
#####Boring But interesting and worth reading#####

first came in contact with this thread in mid 2017. I decided to apply for summer but couldnt find any course related to my undergraduate program. I then decided to apply for Biomedical engineering.

GBAM!!! I was given a capital rejection letter by January 2018. I decided to chill first since I was waiting for IELTS result which I wrote on 6/1/2018. IELTS came out, made 7.0... This encouraged me to applying for winter. This time arround, there were serveral courses of my choice. Applied for 4 programs in H-BRS, uni Bonn, Uni ULM and Jena. got admitted into H-BRS and was rejected by uni Bonn amd ULM. Still waiting for jena up till this moment.

Fast forward to my interview 18/05/2018:

had a 2-day journey prior to my interview. lodged at a hotel inside bonny Cantonment.

Got to the embassy around past 6am, those passport guys tried to persuade me into taking anoda set of passport photograhs but I adamant in my refusal to change my mind not knowing I was not carrying the right passport spec. Mind you, I tried opening the link to the passport spec several times but to little or no avail, the network was always messing me up. I asked here about the spec and I got a reply "35 by 45". I didnt know my face was suppose to cover about 80% of the passport.

Few minutes befor 7am, mr paulinus arrived, called out to those of us for student visa. We were about 3 at that time so he decided to attend to the 3 of us.

He gave instruction to the first guy, came to me and shouted, "did I ask you to stand there? I will chase u out of this place"

For my mind I don enter.. Then I adjust.
He took my application forms and my appointment email printout (placed inside my international passport) and placed them on 3 chairs without saying a word to me. He went to the first guy again, asked for declaration accordin to page 54 blah blah blah, the guy brought them out and placed on the already arranged app forms.
I brought out the declaration forms, trying to arrange them when He came shouting at me " I told you befor, original here, photocopy here, my friend leave this place". For my mind, I say I don die... Chai!!!
Na him I waka like confused person go back ooo....

After every every, I scaled through and went inside then I realised that my passport was not of the right spec. This time, see sweat for my body. I come be like who nor well. The guy next to me tried to calm me down after I told him about the passport foto issue but I pray ooo, I was still disturbed.

Finally I wad called into room 4 where I was interviewed by a young Nigerian lady.

VO: Goodmorning

Me: Goodmorning ma (my situation humble me finish)

VO: let me ve ur original documents. And the photocopies.

V.O : Masters or Bsc

Me: Masters ma

V.O: ve u funded

Me: yes ma

VO: ve you learnt the language?

Me: I am learning through youtube and
google translator ( stammering)

VO: what school?

Me : Hochschule Bonn Rhein sieg (pronounced the Hochshule like a proper nigerian)

She looked at me and said " and you said you have been learning the language? Dont worry, let me get it from your admission letter.
Business / Re: How To Stay Rich Even When You Have A Very Low Income by Richiebay(m): 5:12pm On Jun 15, 2016
Anuoluwapo23:
Its nice to write again and I'm really excited to share this story of mine to every Nairalander so i would be needing your help(mods) also to reach more people on this interesting tips of mine..

I'll be giving out just 3 tips,I was in a bus today and I was thinking about my life and giving thanks to God and how I could have saved over 500k in my twenties even without supports from my parents or family,we arent really financially stable so i just had to source funds for myself and all sorts by myself.

1.Socialize and Make Friends:Some people call themselves introverts but I think this is a very bad thing because it would really affect your standard of living even if you're the richest in this world because you would need someone's help to get rich or get high in life, you know you can't do this alone, just socialize, make friends, let your friends help you,let them pay for your food, let them pay for your drinks, let your rich colleague pay for your lunch, it might look like begging or some sorts but because you know where you came from, don't be shy to ask people to help you, don't be shy to talk to anyone thats helpful,it might be your lucky day.

2.Tell people your problem; In 2009 I remember when I needed a job so bad that I told a friend of mine about my difficulties, but my friend that I told had another friend, she told her friend about my issues,I should be angry but I wasn't because I didn't expect her to tell someone I don't know about myself, and I didn't request her "uncalled for BC",but I I don't know who's who,so I kept my cool, and few weeks later her friend got me a job which was actually my dream job in an accounting firm and its a very good one, when I got the job, first week,my boss liked me so much just because I was the open minded type,I do not hide my problems from people,he always pay for my lunch and drops me at the busstop of my area and it went on and on that my salary was really enough because I don't even remove up to 10k out of it in month, isn't it cool?

3.Be A Giver ;What do I actually mean by this?its not just about giving and not expecting a return on investment, its about giving and expecting nothing to come out of it,not even 5N.
Earlier this year,my aunt had her wedding ceremony and we were all excited and all sorts, some people just came and said they haven't eaten but I don't know them, and they were my aunt's guest but they had gone home for verification so I just overlooked it,although I should be angry because even me I hadn't eaten for the day so it should be annoying that someone came "after party" for God!Nobody really does that but these men did it for real, and I gave them my food that I had reserved for myself, (they were two) so they ate my one plate until earlier this month,I saw one of them in Abeokuta at a store where i was trying to decide on which blender to purchase from the 3chub store somewhere in panseke, and what they had that day was a syinix blender and the man didn't just purchase the blender though, he also bought me a huaweii device because I said I had non at the moment although I had non,I got robbed in my street by 9pm(May God Help Us In Nigeria) so they snatched my bag which had (a boom j8,a vodafone tab,my makeup kit,my shawarma,8k,and my devices charger and different stuffs " but I'm grateful to God that I wasn't even stabbed. So it just happened that way..

That scenario is really funny but that's how to stay rich,Thats how I stay rich even when I have a very low income,I hope we all make use of these beautiful steps of mine, I didn't even read them from a book,Its my idea, please read and share and like.

so true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks for the trips...but at times you trying to make friends not for any benefit but for social reaosns and some people think you are famzing...guess persistence is key !!!! #whoneedsafriend??
